5 out of 5 eggsEasy install.

Pros: Did a fair amount of research before deciding on this card. Primary used for gaming (L4D, Borderlands, BioShock, ETC..) Software that is included installed with no issues, and it is used daily to max out the fan speed when playing a game. Temps have never risen to an abnormal level in the seven months that I've had it installed. Plays the current games that I have (and breezes thru older games) at a good frame rate with no shuddering or issues.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: It's SLI compatible and won't break the bank if you need more than to buy another if the need arises.

5 out of 5 eggsBEAST!

Pros: Abosolutly amazing. It is big, but that can only mean one thing. POWER. Worth your money.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: i hate people who complain about size, it is like they never thought bout getting a bigger case, or even planned about it. Also this card may cost a couple dollars extra then some other brands, but you have to remember, you get what you pay for, and this is definitly good.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid card

Pros: -Lifetime Warranty. Make sure you register on EVGA's site, they offer a lifetime warranty and have been excellent about honoring it in the past.

-PhysX support. It makes more of a difference than I expected, and at modest settings it has very few problems.

-Good "budget" performance. It's not the fastest card on the market, and it certainly won't play the latest games with everything maxed out, but I've yet to find a game that it can't come up with playable framerates on at respectable detail levels.

Cons: -Large. Even though it's the smallest of the double-slot cards, don't let it surprise you. This thing will easily span the width of your motherboard over both slots, make sure you don't have any ports or case areas in the way.

-For some reason, the fan on my card doesn't like to manually change speed in EVGA Precision. Occasionally it works right, but most of the time, unchecking Auto and setting a speed will jump the fan to that speed, and within 2 seconds, the fan will jump back down to the previous speed, or occasionally a few percent above or below the previous speed. A friend with the same card has no problems, and it's not enough of a bother to RMA, but it is annoying.

-My card was a fairly mild overclocker, at 800/2400. This is really to be expected, since the card is a rebadged higher clockspeed 9800GTX+, and certaily not enough to knock off an egg for.

Other Thoughts: If you upgrade later you can always keep this card as a dedicated PhysX card. Check your PSU for it's amperage rating. The recommended 24A minimum is for systems with one or two 12v rails, if you have a 4 rail system with one dedicated only to the GPU connectors, 18A is fine on that rail.

I had an older generic 500w psu, with 2 12v rails @ 16A each. It would run EXTREMELY hot while gaming, and died about 2 weeks after I got this card. I upgraded to a name-brand 700w psu, which had no issues at all.

This card can be a great upgrade for pre-built systems, it will fit in quite a few microATX cases from different companies. Obviously do a visual inspection before ordering to make sure.

5 out of 5 eggsPower at a price

Pros: I bought this card in NYC to replace an aging 8600GT that I bought off of a friend. I didn't have the money to spring for a 5870 or 4890, and I had the available cash, so I went for this. It's easily the largest card I've ever used, but that's not much, considering that I usually work with low profile systems.
Anyway, this card runs cool while making little noise. It runs Call of Duty 4 at maximum settings and Fallout 3 at pretty high settings. The overclocking tools included are pretty useful.

Cons: Width. Make sure you have space underneath your PCI-E port. It's several inches thick. It's kind of a power hog, and you need to make sure that it's plugged in.

Other Thoughts: It's good if you need a cheap, fairly powerful card. Also looks pretty cool. ;-) Currently runs in my budget build PC.

3 out of 5 eggsRebate offer was bogus

Pros: I purchased this for my son who play WOW and it is working fine so far. The frame rates have increased a noticeable increase from our gt8600

Cons: EVGA will not honor the rebate that was offered with this product. They should not use it to intice a purchase if they have no intention of honoring the rebate. I will actively avoid their products in the future.

5 out of 5 eggsWill buy another

Pros: Fast card, able to play Risen, Witcher, Need 4 Speed:Shift, and Fallout 3 on max comfortably.

SLI

Value per dollar rocks

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: Windows 7 rated this GPU at a 6.8 out of 7.9 - not too bad considering the price. There are faster cards that are capable of more, but honestly I couldn't imagine spending more money right now. DirectX 11 is right around the corner so spending an ungodly amount of money on a card to just have it upgraded a year later doesn't make sense.

This card will definitely last another 1.5-2 years.

3 out of 5 eggsknocking fan in case

Pros: I had no problems with loading up the drivers. Graphics are great. Card is nice.

Relatively easy install process. but...

Cons: The fan was misshapen on one side so it caused a knocking sound in the card casing. But i adjusted the case a little bit to accommodate for the shape and that fixed it. I shouldn't have to do that but i don't want to RMA it. Its works fine.

And the card is pretty big and barely fits in my computer case.

Other Thoughts: I think video card companies are sacrificing quality of hardware for quantity to make more money.

5 out of 5 eggsNice performance for the price

Pros: This card runs cool, I was very surprised at this. I bought 2 of these to use in a folding machine and they work fantastic for this. The cards have been running full load for about a week now. At idle the cards are just above 40c in a EVGA 750i SLi motherboard. For folding I manually set the fan to 100%. Yes they make quite a bit of noise doing this, but I have this system in the basement so I do not hear it. Both cards full load with fans 100% run at 65C.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: These are great bang for the buck cards. EVGA 750i puts the bottom card very low. There is less then 1/2" clearance for the bottom card from the bottom of the case, so I'm picked up a bottom psu mount case to help in this area. I don't have the case yet, but no doubt it will help air flow to the cards.
