5 out of 5 eggsStill running flawlessly after 7 years!

Pros: I forgot that I had this in a previous build when I built a new PC in 2011 and used this card. Still works great, but I'm building a new PC and took a look at the purchase date of the card and was shocked it was so old! Purchase a new EVGA GTX 970 to replace it. Great testament to quality as this PC runs 24/7

Cons: Would not run any current game software that is being release...lol

5 out of 5 eggsRock Solid Card

Pros: This is a great card. I bought this mid year 2010 to replace a computer that completed went down. Been solid ever since. Currently runs everything I throw at it these days just fine, 3+ years later.

Cons: There's some stuttering and it doesn't handle my duel monitors as well anymore, but all this is too be expected after 3+ years. Really solid card!

5 out of 5 eggsStill Works

Pros: Still running after buying in 2009, although PC is outdated now. This card will go into a new build eventually, until it is replaced by another EVGA card.

Cons: gets very dusty after 4+ years of usage, but that is expected. Started getting really hot from all of the dust.

Other Thoughts: took apart card and blew out the dust, cleaned the GPU chip, and re-applied some artic silver5 thermal paste. I had to apply the thermal paste to the smaller chips that had the old thermal tape on them too. card temps are 10+ celsius cooler. Will get another EVGA card eventually.
think my Raidmax 7200ss PSU is not putting the power out it used to for this card, getting random reboots.

4 out of 5 eggsgood card

Pros: Very good card. Havn't ran into any games that it couldn't run in 3 years. EVGA has exellant warrantys.

Cons: Although a great card, it went out within 6months. Not sure what the issue was but fan was still working on it and just started overheating so bad one day it would shut my whole system down. Luckily EVGA has great warranty took 5min on the phone and had new one on the way after they recieved mine. Been 2.5 years & havnt had prob after that.

5 out of 5 eggsRock solid

Pros: Performance, stability

Cons: Heat

Other Thoughts: I have been using this card since 2009. It has been rock solid the whole time. I have used it with a variety of monitors, including multiple monitor setups, and it has been able to run most games at max or very high settings. The newest example I can use is Diablo III, which it runs at max settings (at 1920 x 1080, with a second monitor also running at 1280 x 1024) with ease.

The only downside is the heat. While gaming, it can reach temps of almost 190 degrees F, which seems pretty warm to me!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Have never had any issues with it, Still runs on high settings for most games

Cons: Quite bulky, pay attention to the dimensions of this baby and make sure it'll fit in your case. I had to move my hard drives for it to fit properly, and almost every time I modify my system this card needs to come at to get at another component.

Other Thoughts: Great card, just don't put it in a small case

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Still running most games at max settings 2 years after purchase.

Cons: Should have paid more attention to the bulk of the card. I purchased 2, and it was a pain to get everything connected. I dread every time I have to make modifications, it almost always means I have to move the cards no matter what I am doing.

Other Thoughts: Can't fault its performance which is excellent. I do wish I noticed the size of the card before purchase. Definitely going to be watching that in the future.

5 out of 5 eggsEVGA comes through again

Pros: Works great. Quite. Awesome lifetime warranty.
Uses 2 6 pin connectors so easy to install.

Cons: None really. Its a big card but you should know that before you buy it.

Other Thoughts: I totally recommend this card . Just the lifetime warranty is enough to at least give it a shot.
