Great card, but adjust your fan.

Very powerful. I may only play team Fortress 2, but I made it so pretty my friends frown at me. Great price.

5 out of 5 eggsamazing card

Pros: this card is amazing for the value it plays games like starcraft 2, gta4, mafia2, bioshock2, mw2 and much more effortlessly and is very stable
one if the best cards out on the market

Cons: nothing bad about the card but as i have recently notices there is the GTX 465 card out which is even better than this card by a small amount for only lik $40 more

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

Pros: Works just as expected.. reallly well. A big graphics bost compared to the integrated graphics on the mobo I currently am using. No heat issues what so ever.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The rebate was really nice.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: I haven't had any problems with this card so far, and after upgrading from an 8600 I was very happy with the performance increase. No problem with Crysis on highest settings after reformat.

Cons: The card overheated twice from the amount of dust collecting in it, but I don't know if the card runs hot, or whether I live in a dusty place. You can just blow the dust out anyway.

Other Thoughts: The rebate is always nice.

5 out of 5 eggsWorking great

Pros: Haven't had a problem with it running anything yet. Can easily handle most games I'd imagine. Starcraft 2 is working great!

Cons: A little big and heavy. Plugs in one PCIEx16 slot, but depending on your motherboard, may block adjacent slots and rear access bays.

Other Thoughts: Disc did not include drivers for Windows 7 64-bit, but they were easily located online. Besides, it's always nice to have the most recent drivers.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: I actually own the Superclocked version of this, but since that product is out of stock I can't write a review of it. This is a great card. Runs Crysis, Crysis Warhead, and Alien vs. Predator 2010 on maxed out settings. I haven't tried AA or AF on Crysis yet, though. Runs relatively cool (36-40 C idle, 60 C max) especially if you know how to use EVGA Precision, which an untrained monkey could do. Most certainly runs cooler than my old 8800GTS 512, which used to idle at 56 C and would go to over 70 when stressed.

Cons: Nvidia/EVGA need to drop the price on this. You can buy a GTX460 for the same price and get DX11 and faster performance. The 460 is also shorter.

Other Thoughts: It's a huge card that barely fit in my Antec 1200 case; I had to rearrange a lot of wires just to fit it in. This is hardly a con, though, because you should know what you're buying when you buy this. Look for a smaller card if you have a mid-size or smaller case.

5 out of 5 eggsBuy this but don't get a refurb

Pros: This card screams. I have been able to play every game at max settings so far. This includes Farcry I and Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Benchmarking is really fast and using EVGA Precision you can even OC it some more. Have had it for 6 months with zero issues and with lots of gaming.

Cons: Ginormous sized card. I would recommend getting a full size tower if you want this card. There is about 5 mm room in my mid size tower. Even with that, I still give it 5 stars. This isn't really a con, just a warning. I think it's overkill to get anything more expensive than this. (Fermi)

Other Thoughts: Are you other people ignorant? Do you even know what a refurbished card is? If you understand the risks and want to be a penny pincher than get one of those. A refurbished card is a card that had a previous defect and was sent back to the manufacturer to be put back to almost new condition. This is a used, previously defective card. I bought mine new which is why it works good.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat card but dont buy

Pros: Ive owned this for almost 1 year now and its still chuggin along, plays most games maxed on my res of 1600x900 I mostly play first person shooters like crysis and bad company 2 and it does alot better than my old 8800 gts evga
I purchased this refurbished for $139 i knew it was a risk but i wasnt willing to pay $220 for a new one plus they ended up sending me a superclocked version, its a great card for the money I spent but not for what they want for it now, read other thoughts

Cons: after a few hours of gaming constantly i notice artifact glitching this is a more recent problem but others have said the same thing! I tried to purchase a warranty through evga but only gave me 90 days because it was refurbished I was hoping this would last about 2 yrs like my 8800 did too bad :(

Other Thoughts: new egg is selling the NEW gtx 465 with more video ram higher clocks and 352 cores for $40 more than this card what card would you choose? plus free shipping and 20 dollar rebate making it only 20 dollars more after all rebates, 20 dollars for 150 or so more processing cores and DX11! dont waste your money with this card

3 out of 5 eggsBad Design

Pros: -Can still max out most games at 1080p with beautiful framerates
-Is only 10.5"
-Looks "cool"
-Has lifetime warranty so ship it in when it doesn't work and when they run out of trash 260s to send back to you! :D

Cons: -Outdated now
-On THIRD CARD... Do I need to say more?
-Be prepared to not have a computer as you wait for EVGA to ship you another faulty refurb.

Other Thoughts: These things die like the old Xbox 360's.
Buy a GTX 460.
EVGA customer service does a good job.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible

Pros: Runs all my games highest settings not a problem.
No over heating problems.

Cons: The cards days are numbered. It WILL die.
I've had this card for almost 1 month now and it has died already.

As of earlier today it was working like a charm and when I decided to reboot my computer I suddenly received a no signal error from my monitor. Reboot my comp to still find the same problem. I managed to speak to someone who has had this problem with this card and has gone through 2 of them before he eventually changed cards.

Things I tried:

CMOS Reset
GPU PCI Slot Switch
Switching Monitors
Switching output signals (HDMI, DVI and VGA)
Moving around RAM sticks from one slot to another

Still not fixed. A friend lent me his Radeon HD 3870 and I had signal to my monitor.

After much search and troubleshooting I've come to find out this is a problem people have been having with this card since 2008 and there is no fix for it. The card either fails completely or works every so often when you reboot.

Other Thoughts: I have spent x amount of money on this card and now have to pay for the shipping charges to RMA it. I can only hope I get my money back because I do not want another one of these.

If this has been going on since 2008 I have no idea how this product has so many high reviews.

1 out of 5 eggspoor quality

Pros: can be plugged into a monitor

Cons: poor quality overall

Other Thoughts: Had the card for a little more than a year before it began to show signs of failure (artifact) even during boot up. Didn't bother to register the product...big mistake. Without warranty, I decided to pull the card out to perform the oven trick. When cleaning the card with a toothpick, 2 tiny resisters near the vram popped off. Wow... am I super strong or what??? never again evga,
