5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This is a great budget card. I got this to replace an old x700 card in one of my work machines so I could have an all digital dual monitor setup. The graphics and resolution and everything have been great. I haven't tried any major games since it is on a work machine though I imagine it would get the job done decently well. I wouldn't expect your graphic experience to be super fine though.

Cons: nothing so far

Other Thoughts: I have always had good luck with eVGA, their warranties are the best IMO.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: this card is a good card for avg gaming like css and gmod. it can also run l4d with 36+ fps. it was cheap too since there was a rebate. this was a very good card and ran all the games i usually play but now im upgrading to a 9800 GTX+ and it comes with cod4 and 5 which is awesome since i play those on the xbox360.

Cons: had some driver issues with the disk that it came with but it wasnt really a big deal.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome card (modulo stock fan)

Pros: Runs my two digital monitors (1680x1050 and 1280x1024) smoothly. I don't yet do gaming beyond that of WoW and a few older FPSes (my friend wanted me to try F.E.A.R.), but I run WoW at 40-60 FPS.

Cons: The stock fan doesn't keep the card cool and sounds like a vacuum. I bought a ZALMAN VF900 aftermarket cooling fan and heatsink, which was easy to install (there was a website with pictures I found). The nvidia temp monitor said the card was at 52 Celsius when idle and 57 Celsius after a WoW raid. Best of all, I sometimes still think I've forgotten to tun on the PC the fan is so quiet.

Other Thoughts: Love this card for a budget machine (especially if you can get it on sale as I did).

5 out of 5 eggsInconceivable Value

Pros: Performance exceeds the practical needs of a workstation / office user. Excellent specs, design, and it's quiet. It is also appropriately sized; it's not a monster card and does not "clog" a mid-tower. It is not too long and it runs reasonably cool.

Cons: It does not do pedicures.

Other Thoughts: I can not find a GPU, any where, that is a better value / bang-for-the-buck, than this. And, I have received all rebates I submitted in a reasonable time, about 6 weeks. The rebate works.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card for the $$$

Pros: This card is the best bang for your buck. I know its a little dated, but I benched it with 3dMark2001 and it churned out a 35,000 which was awesome but i bumped my X2 Kuma from 2.7 to 3.2 and it went to 37,500. i think there is still some speed in this thing if i could only over clock my chip a little higher.

Cons: It is a little loud until you install the drivers from the nvidia website. Then it is only loud until windows starts to load.

Other Thoughts: My Rig (if you are curious)
AMD X2 7750 Kuma 2.7ghz
4gb (2x2gb) XMS2 memory DDR800
This card
ASUS M4A78 Plus

All from newegg and absolutely rock solid. Thx newegg.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal

Pros: This card is great for someone on a budget. I had an old card before and was only getting an avg of 29 FPS on TF2, I but this card in and DL the latest drivers, 199FPS!!!! everything ran so much smoother. I have seen no issues with this card and am very happy with my purchase.

Cons: None that i know of.

Other Thoughts: Don't have a lot of $? need a card to play older games on? Buy this card.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerful for its price.

Pros: Fast for what i payed for it, however even though its not one of the high end cards such as the Gtx 250 and up it still has power to play most new games on max settings sadly though i dont own a copy of either Crysis games and cant really say about it but it did some how on my PC it scored a excellent 5.7 in gaming graphics and a 5.9 in aero in windows Vista as most said it got 5.6 in Graphics for Gaming which idk how just wanted to point that out. So its all good i have a PC with a 5.1 score ( processor AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4800+ being lowest even though it is 2.5 Ghz). Also even under clocked to the max it plays all my games maxed, Read other thoughts to see which ones and no its not all of my games just some.

Cons: Gets hot if not careful max i seen on my Pc was 89 C then again i dint have vent open so now no hotter then 68 C at max so recommend not overclock to much either and Dont touch memory clock as it as other said it is very touchy though it can be under clocked but if ya want to its your choice but i learned for experience.

Other Thoughts: Eats more watts then my Processor does hum strange. Also Medal of Honor Airborne never look so good on max settings when trying to play , yes its funny, this game one a Radeon HD 2400 Pro 400Mhz core and 500Mhz x2 total 1000Ghz memory clock that is overclocked. And the others Call of Duty 4 and 5 maxed out. Also Oblivion as well. All at resolution of 1280 X 720 75Hz to 1280 X 1024 75Hz or higher at 40Fps or to 200Fps or higher and really never goes lower then that. Good card for what it can do but power vs cost vs heat vs needs ( ex: power supply).

4 out of 5 eggsA pretty good card!

Pros: I placed an order at June 29th and received it the next day. The card works great in Fallout 3 and Newegg.com rocks!

Cons: For some reason, when I play F.E.A.R. 2 it was played in widescreen mode.
