Pros: Excellent card, fast.

Cons: Runs a little hot, long, but not any longer then other 9800gts'.

Other Thoughts: Didn't come with the HDMI adapter but when I called EVGA they just asked for my address and it was on my doorstep in a couple of days.

5 out of 5 eggsGood buy, even better with a rebate!

Pros: Works great and with the rebate is was a steal. Upgraded an 8600 and the 9800GT is now bottlenecked by the CPU. Lots of overclocking fun. Works well with the 8300 MB in Hybrid Power mode. It goes from 50 watt total power draw with the onboard video to about 195 watts with the 9800 GT. I've had very good experience with EVGA support; they sent me an RMA for 12 video cards for a compatibility issue that I missed and replaced with different cards with no questions. A class company.

Cons: None so far

5 out of 5 eggsI'm happy.

Pros: Runs rather well. Well, at least better than my 7600 GT it replaced. There was definitely a difference. Fallout 3 has been running at around 30-40 FPS, sometimes as high as 60 and as low as 20-ish on high settings at 1080p. Left 4 Dead runs very smoothly at high settings at 1080p. Haven't tried many other games (primarily due to lack of time since I'm a busy college student). That being said I'm very please with the card and I'm glad to have purchased it.

Also, the overclocking utility included is nice. Be cautious though, I have blue screened when experimenting with it, so don't take it to high. Make sure to set the fan at a constant speed setting, auto will not cut it. As I'm typing this, the fan is set to 77 and the temps are at 45. After a long night of gaming the temps will never go above 60.

Cons: The first one I got had an issue with the fan, it was apparently loose or something, each blade would tap the cover-thingy at a fast speed making an annoying clicking sound. At one point the fan just stopped working. Got it replaced and it has had no major issues. I have had 2 blue screens when playing Fallout 3, I'm not sure if it's the card, the driver, or just the game. I keep my drivers up to date. I suppose it may just be the games fault since the card has no issues running 3dMark06 (framerates varied depending on the tests, but would hit upwards of 60 in the 4 primary graphics tests).

Other Thoughts: My CPU is an (older, in my opinion) Pentium D 830, I think it might be a bottleneck in my cards performance. Perhaps it's about time I start thinking about getting a Core 2 Duo or perhaps an i7... hah, in my dreams, maybe. lol. Certainly a couple years (hopefully months) down the road... yes...

But, in the end, it runs what I throw at it with out any major issues. Could see better framerates if I had a faster processor, RAM, SLI mode, etc. That said, I am happy.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: When it works it works great

Cons: dont work well for me. It gets hot and freezes and sometimes just wont work whenever i play games. Thought it was the PSU (bought another psu, was the wast of my money) but that was not the cause. New psu same problem.
Sometimes i have to restart my cpu about three times for the card to work.
Maybe i just got a bad card and i am way in Jamaica so if i was to rma it would cost me the same as a new card

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Perfect card. Theres no reason to spend any more money when you can buy this. Run everything at highest detail and get excellent, steady frame rate. I don't use AA, with every card I've ever owned AA causes the FPS to become unstable, jumping between 20-60fps. And it's only practical on very small objects (Cables on phone lines and ropes, for example).

Cons: My processor can't keep up. And I spent twice as much on the CPU just last year. Frame rate can stay high while the gameplay is jerky.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card to replace my 7900GS, which was a good XFX card.

That card had many problems with freezing for no reasons, not temperates or drivers. Even reinstalling XP and using beta drivers did not fix this, a new gfx card did. XFX said they could not reproduce the problem and said the card was fine. Apparently if they can boot to the desktop they deem their cards "in working order".

To the guy that said to go with XFX because your card died, you're lucky you didn't have this problem on your XFX card. At least you can get it replaced through EVGA.

Pros: Easy to install, recognized by WinXPsp3 on intial install with no problems. Easy to use configuration interface, handles dual monitors easily. Plays COD fast and pretty!

Cons: Runs a bit warm, but hasn't been an issue yet. I'll probably remove the unused PCI slot covers and cover them with some of the filter material from the used front case slots to give it some more air.

1 out of 5 eggsWHAT A HUNK OF JUNK

Pros: No problems when Idle.

Cons: If I hit load for a couple hours, the GPU hangs, and I have to do a hardboot.

PSU is powerfull enough for nearly two of these cards, so thats not the problem.

I'm thinking damaged core, cause i used driver sweeper three times.

Other Thoughts: Hunk of junk. I advise you to get XFX.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's not loud

Pros: Awesome card really this is the only card you will need on monitors 20 inch and under if your monitor is anything bigger then 24 inches might want to look at getting 2 card for sli. But othere then that its not to loud and work great under load it gets a bit to hot but setting the fan high will remove that problem

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Nice card grfx a big large thou 9 inch card

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card, as long as you have space

Pros: Very nice performance, runs WoW, L4D, Bioshock, ect all at 60+ FPS with 16AA. It's also pretty quiet for being such a powerful card.

Cons: It is a very big card, barley fit in my case and even then I had to swap a few sata cables to get it in. Also, during the time I bought the card there was a 20$ MIR and I sent all the required material; UPC barcode, Rebate forum, Shipping Invoice, ect. and the rebate company refused my rebate and will not return what I mailed them, even though I did purchase the item in the time frame for the rebate. Not really Newegg's fault though, done through a seperate website.

Other Thoughts: Nice card if you have the space and the power.

5 out of 5 eggsNice gamer board for reasonable $$

Pros: Posted right out of the box. Recognized the Corsair 800 DDR2. I used the hard drive from the system this board was replacing, slipstreamed a disk w/ XPSP3 and all of the drivers and hotfixes, did a windows repair install and everything came up. Amazing.

Cons: Couldn't get the on-board NIC to sync with internet. Still working that issue. Using a seperate NIC anyway so no big deal.

Other Thoughts: Good budget gamer setup:E8500, Corsair 800 DDR2, EVGA gts8800,Antec 750w PS
