5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: It's powerful. It's a beast! The EVGA Precision tool makes for nice temperature monitoring and easy overclocking.

Cons: It gets pretty hot and its big! Barely fit in my case without pushing power cables to its side.

It's a little less powered than some people say for me, but I think its partly due to my old 400w PSU bottlenecking it that I've been meaning to replace for a while now.

Other Thoughts: I plan to get another one just in case this one gets sold out when I plan to build an SLI rig.

I also plan to get some more fans for my case, lol.

5 out of 5 eggs1 Year Update

Pros: This has been a fantastic card, easy installation even in my very awkward Gateway case. Runs anything you throw at it on high, even Crysis. EVGA precision is a fantastic GPU overclocking tool, also EVGA support is surpassed by none. Cost:Performance ratio? This card has an fantastic one.

Cons: Like others said, it does run a little hot, you need a well vented case since it isn't double wide with it's own duct. But at the same time, for me, that is a major ADVANTAGE to this card, since even in an SLI configuration none of my other PCI slots are blocked. This lets me keep a TV tuner and sound card in with no space conflicts.

Other Thoughts: Like I said, the value of this card is excellent, and EVGA is an unmatchable company it seems when it comes to quality, supporting it with drivers and OC'ing utilities. Not to mention it's pretty easy on the eyes, as well as your wallet. But it never slows you down. A+

5 out of 5 eggsBest card I've ever purchased

Pros: Works well. I've had it for over 9 months and it keeps on chugging perfectly like the first day i put it in. For the price, you can not find a better quality card.

Cons: Runs a little hot, but not a problem in my case, as i have 4 120mm and 2 140 mm fans.

Other Thoughts: Is fairly long, but that should be expected in higher end cards. I have a micro atx case, and it covers almost the whole thing.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Easy installation, nice size. Runs games greatly!

Cons: Temperature gets real hot for comfort. I've hit 75C+ playing HL2 and the settings weren't that high either. But from what I read, GPU cards can handle that but uhh, just too hot for me. Also real hot on idle. Buy some kind of VGA cooler and you're good to go!

5 out of 5 eggsgreat card

Pros: i would say this is one of the best cards for the price. it came with call of duty world at war which was one of the reasons why i bought it. but even without it, its still a good price for what you get.

Cons: just make sure you have a PSU that will work with this card as well as a good cooling system in your computer because this card does tend to get hot.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid midrange NVDA card

Pros: Nvidia support, price functionality.

Cons: Maybe only half a con, but I prefer the shorter form factor cards. This one can take the whole length of your mobo, so make sure you know how it will fit before you pair it with a specific board.

Other Thoughts: I'm not an overclocker, but have had a friend drive the o-clock functionality, and it did seem to produce faster results; but I need stabilit first, so reset to factory specs, which are more than adequate for the rigs I am building using these cards (I've deployed about a dozen of these cards without a single (knock on wood) problem. Using the web based Active-X driver upgd service is one of the cleanest Ive seen. ZERO hassles, great price and performance.

BTW: Ive tried many of the ATI based cards, and never found them to be as easy, or straight forward. I know how to tweak 'em, but they never grew on me. The ATO catalyst SW is also more clunky than the NVidia suite. Guess it might depend, on what you started with...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for Crysis

Pros: Ran Crysis, COD4, Dawn of War, HL2 all on High settings, excellent performance.

Cons: Crysis brought it down a bit, but what can you expect, its Crysis. It also can get kinda hot, not much of a con though since the stock cooler seemed to hold up quite well, it just heated up my case quite a bit.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Great card, good power, best bang for the buck in my opinion.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Depending on your motherboard, this baby will extend the distance on the width of your motherboard. Just requires planning ahead for hooking everything up.
