4 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Works for me. Needed a low profile fanless card with hdmi output. Installed in a refurb hp dc 7700 computer I am using for a home theater set up with an acer K130 projector. It will be a good deal if I get my rebate. Otherwide I think I would have been better off with a 1GB card.

Cons: No Problems so far. Slow rebate. 2 months and waiting although they say it is still being processed.

5 out of 5 eggsNice little HTPC card.

Pros: No fans
VGA, HDMI w/sound, DVI
Low profile card
Light gaming on minimal settings.

Cons: Heatsink takes up 2 slots.

Other Thoughts: Good card for a HTPC, can do some light gaming, plays RAGE on minimum settings, 720p, with core 2 duo 3.0Ghz.

I voided the warranty on mine by bending/removing the heatsink fins, but I can fit it in my HTPC now. Temp stays at around 50C, and the limit on the temp is 100C. Gaming with the card like this makes the temp jump to 100C+, so I added a case fan blowing air directly at it, keeps it >50C.

3 out of 5 eggsDon't trust the rebate

Pros: It's a great, cheapo card that does what is asked of it. Don't expect to play fancy new games on it, but it works fine for watching movies quietly.

Cons: When I ordered this, it was free (plus tax) after rebate. It's been nearly a month since I mailed in the rebate. No response from MSI whatsoever (they say wait three weeks). I picked it up as a spare just in case, but not really worth it if you never get the rebate.

Other Thoughts: It's a standard cheapo, quiet card. If you're up for paying the cost w/o the rebate, go for it. If you don't want added inconvenience of gambling the cost of it, go find another card.

4 out of 5 eggsHeat Sink blocks pci-e slot

Pros: Quiet, cheap after rebate, handles 1080p playback with XBMC and MythTV frontend on a linux box using NVidia's linux drivers, VDPAU feature C support (Supports complete acceleration for MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 Part 2 (a.k.a. MPEG-4 ASP), VC-1/WMV9 and H.264. Global motion compensation and Data Partitioning are not supported for MPEG-4 Part 2. per Wikipedia) in linux

Cons: Huge heatsink... I'll have to do some cutting of the heatsink to fit a PCI-e card on the next slot over

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card! Heatsink is big!

Pros: Great card! Breathed new life into my HTPC which was beginning to show some age. All the bells and whistles you need to get to where your going.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Keep in mind the heat-sink is larger than normal on this card. I knew this ahead of time and was planning on replacing it, but instead took it off and cut it in half width wise with a reciprocating saw and remounted it. It has run 24/7 for the last two weeks with no problems.

5 out of 5 eggsWell worth the $1.50 in taxes.

Pros: Was free after rebate. Fit snugly into an older HP DC7100 small form factor(SFF). The chipset heatsink was perfectly cut on one side to allow this type of card in. Lucky on my part. Included low-profile brackets and drivers disc though I would recommend using the Nvidia Driver Detect utility instead.

Cons: When used in low-profile PC's the cable from the main card to the VGA card is barely long enuf.

Other Thoughts: Perfect video card upgrade for an HP DC7100.

5 out of 5 eggsAt this price how can you dock eggs?

Pros: Cheap, quiet (no fan), hdmi out, cheap

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: This was 35 with a 30 rebate, I would have had to have been stupid not to get it.
