5 out of 5 eggsCheap!

Pros: 20$ after mail rebate!! I needed a new graphic card for an old Pentium 4 3.0Ghz. I tried some 2005-2006 games with all settings on high with it, and with great results. HDMI output for Home Theater use.

Cons: Not a gaming card. New games won't run smooth on it.

Other Thoughts: Pretty cheap upgrade if you want a HDMI output

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic card

Pros: Decent amount of power in the little baby. Can play Crysis on low settings, overclocks nicely. Has a quiet fan.

I can't think of a better card for an HTPC or an ultra-light gaming PC.

Cons: None.

2 out of 5 eggsDoes Anything Ever Work as Intended?

Pros: DVI output works

Cons: Cannot for the life of me get HDMI working. Wasted more time than the card is worth trying to get it to work.
It recognizes the (Panasonic LCD) TV but will not put a signal to it. Plugged/unplugged, rebooted, reinstalled, asked nicely, cursed and screamed, but it just wasn't happening for me.

Other Thoughts: Frustrations like this are exactly why I stopped using my PC for anything entertainment related.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Easy to install and software installed just fine.

Cons: Even after reading the reviews I still went ahead and ordered the card. Everything was great for about a week and then suddenly there wasn't any sound. Re-started the computer and nothing. It was a big disappointment but I guess that from the other reviews I shouldn't have been surprised.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Excellent value for the money. It gave a huge boost to the load time and video performance on SC2 and WOW for my stock system i bought 6 years ago.

Cons: None thus far.

Other Thoughts: Still kinda early for the review, but very happy with product. Gave 4 eggs atm, just want to see how it does over the long run. Just had to get a video card for my old PC while I build m new gaming platform, and for about 30 bucks, i couldn't have gotten more for my money.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: Excellent for HTPC use and mild gaming; plays hi-def movies, blu-ray and most games at an affordable price.

Cons: The low profile mounting bracket has a design flaw. The top of the mounting bracket is reversed and it will take up the lower PCI screw slot, which makes the bottom slot below it unable to be fitted in. Look at the pictures and see for yourself.

Other Thoughts: I'll email Gigabyte and see what they have to say about this flaw. We can't say screw on a submission now?

5 out of 5 eggsGreat bargain!

Pros: Good price
Fits in HP Slim
Has HDMI
Fanned sink

Cons: Didn't come with a chicken sandwich.

Other Thoughts: It's perfect for my needs, everyday use on general desktop multitasking and streaming video. I'm a light gamer, I play WoW, it performs well in WoW. 1600x900 Resolution, settings medium to high. Around 45-50 frames in most areas. Good 30 frames and higher in Dalaran during busy hours. I did turn back Shadow's because that seemed to be the biggest frame loss, But the card is able to run shadows at least set to medium close to high. I just chose to turn them off for extra performance. Using it in an HP Slim S3200N. Dual core 2.5ghz, 2 gigs of Kingston HyperX Memory.

If you buy this card not expecting it to work miracles you will be pleasantly surprised by what you get for the money.

2 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for

Pros: Very inexpensive. Works just fine watching movies and videos, I'm a mild gamer and it ran World of Warcraft moderately well averaging 40 fps

Cons: Fan almost completely stopped working after about 3 months of use, it became very noisy one day and when I popped my computer open I saw that the fan was barely turning, while it sounded like it was being kicked into overdrive.

Other Thoughts: Card is alright..that is if you don't mind completely replacing the fan on it every other month.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for what I want

Pros: I bought this card to replace an 8400gs which uses max 40 watts compared to this card that uses 25 watts max.

I have an hp slim so the power consumption is an issue for me.

The most intensive game Ill ever use is stracraft 2 since im not that much of a pc gamer and this card does the trick just fine. Im able to run the game with most of the settings put on high.

Cons: None that I can think of yet.

Other Thoughts: Satisfied

5 out of 5 eggsSolid card, good price

Pros: Not a great card for gaming, but it plays HD video and runs cool. $31 bucks shipped after the rebate? C'mon.. it's a GREAT deal.

Cons: None, for the price.

Other Thoughts: I haven't had any issues with noise, heat, or performance (outside of trying a couple of games, but I didn't buy it for that)

get 30 fps on TF2 maxed out @ pci-e x8 on an 3.37 i7-860, SSD(@6gbps), 4gb DDR3 1600
