5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Its ASUS, Price vs Performance is great!!

Cons: None yet! runs like a champ!!!

Other Thoughts: There is no reason to buy a 270x, this card consumes less power and gets about the same performance. I have mine running at 1080MHz and memory is up to 6Gbs from the stock 5.6Gbs.

Running Asus GPU tweak Is a Must. The stock fan controll sucks, and does for most cards. I have manual fan controls set up, at first it was stuttering playing dota2 and relized it was heating up to over 70c, thats uneceptable. Now my fan never goes over 50% and it stays under 50c, thats overclocked and playing games like farcry 3 and tomb raider, Its all about keeping the fan at the right speed. I dont have a single complaint aboout this card. Thank you ASUS!! always making quality hardware.

1 out of 5 eggsDefective

Pros: Newegg was very helpful with returning the defective card for a refund. Provided 2 day return shipping.

Cons: Bought a DIY pc and this is my first personal build and the card was defective right out of the box. Every time i would try to play a game i would get a black screen, and if i didn't do Ctrl Alt Delete i would get the blue screen of death. Yes I tried updating drivers and everything. Put a different card in and it works great!!!

Other Thoughts: AMD customer service was very unhelpful and I was extremely dissatisfied with the service I got from them. After researching all the problems AMD are having with this series graphics card, they completely denied having any complaints about the issue. Newegg on the other hand was very prompt taking care of me.

5 out of 5 eggsKiller deal for a sweet card

Pros: I can pretty much play everything from Diablo III, Metro, and BF3 on max with almost no lag at all. The only game I have to lower it for is Witcher which was expected. But solid card and no problems at all.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsMaybe faulty?

Pros: From what Iv'e read this card is supposed to run great...

recieved card early!
Looks amazing

Cons: Well so far I have ran minecraft at a little over 17 fps.... 17..

League wont even run at over 30 fps

every over game runs at a little less than 40 on medium settings.

I have the latest drivers and yet it still runs terribly. I just dont know what to do.

I believe I recieved a faulty card, but man does it suck to pay $200 for a card that cant even run minecraft.

Other Thoughts: Hopefully this is just a faulty card and not what it really runs at. I also hope that I can return this at little to no fee.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Gaming Card

Pros: I really have enjoyed this card for the last week that I have had it. I ran it on Ultra playing WoW at 60FPS with no complications. Great card for the price!

Cons: My only complaint would be that it got up to 66-68C when playing High settings on WoW. I installed another fan to blow directly onto it which cooled it to around 59C on High settings.

Not sure if I would Crossfire unless using liquid cooling and even then I would be wary.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: - Idle at 32C, Never got higher than 70C, average while gaming was 63C
- Quiet
- 60FPS on most games
- League of Legends - 120FPS steady.
- FFXIV - Max Graphics - 60FPS Normal, No lower than 30 in the most populated areas.
- Just Cause 2 - 60FPS steady
- PlanetSide 2 - 60FPS steady, 40 FPS in high populated areas
- Black Ops 2 - 60FPS steady

Cons: Keeps Watch Dogs at 20FPS on ULTRA for whatever reason but never had a problem with any other game.

Other Thoughts: Love this card and I have NO RAGRETS. Have owned it for four days. Will update if anything significant happens.

3 out of 5 eggsit gets really hot

Pros: cheaper than most Runs quitter than my old card.

Cons: This unit should be water cooled. It dumps heat into the case. I would not run it in crossfire unless they were water cooled. At a fair to good setting @ 60 FPS it runs at 51C and yes dumps that right into your case. The top out heat for GPU is 80C. I am not even pushing it.

1 out of 5 eggsNot for World of Warcraft

Pros: It's reasonably fast overall, and very fast for World of Warcraft which was the primary purpose of this purchase.

Cons: Buggy, buggy drivers. Crashes repeatedly when playing WoW, requiring reboot of PC. Playing WoW also caused all menus in every other app to show as white on white, making them impossible to read. Radeon has a lot of work to do on their drivers.

Other Thoughts: This is a not a brand new product. For Radeon's drivers to be so bad is inexcusable. My last Radeon product. Am returning this to Newegg
