DirectCU II
ASUS exclusively engineered DirectCU II technology to provide a cooler and quieter thermal solution. DirectCU II utilizes five copper pipes in direct contact with the GPU to quickly dissipate heat to high conductivity aluminum heat sink. Along with two 80mm fans to provide up to six times more airflow than the reference design, ASUS DirectCU II cooling solution can provide up to 20% cooling operations and is up to two times quieter.

Super Alloy Power
The expertly-designed Super Alloy Power and Direct Power technology uses specially formulated alloy for key power delivery components to deliver stable and reliable power to the GPU.

ASUS exclusive Super Alloy Power utilizes specially-formulated alloy inside the power delivery components to provide a more stable and quieter operation compared to reference design. The specially-formulated alloy is highly-magnetic, heat-resistant and anti-corrosive. Super Alloy Power can increase lifespan two and a half times while operating up to 35 degrees cooler. With Super Hybrid Engine to intelligently monitor and control power management, Super Alloy Power graphics cards are able to deliver up to a 15% performance boost.
DirectPower
The introduction of Direct Power technology allows for better flow of electrons through the PCB to ensure lower impedance while reducing PCB temperatures by up to 17%.

1 out of 5 eggsCard catches fire for the 2nd time!

Pros: The card is awesome and runs everything you throw at it, until it caught fire!

Cons: I bought this card back in november 2013 and it ran fine for a little over a month. It stopped working so i RMA'd the card back to Asus. they sent a new one and this one ran for 4 months and caught fire while i was using it. The whole computer shut down and i could smell something burning. I unplug everything and pulled out the video card and you can see on the board where it burned up. I called Asus and they say they will not replace or fix it becuase their reason to me was the card burned up. Ya, your card caught fire and that's my fault? wow, what great customer service!Fortunately this card did not damage anything else and i'm runing on board graphics now. I use to buy asus to build computers, but never again. I'm stuck with a paper weight that costs hundreds of dollars. They will not back up their product. Between the 2 video cards, they lasted a total of 5 months. Beware of this card and this company. I'm not buying any asus product ever again. I want a company that will back their product and something that actually works and lasts.

Other Thoughts: Don't risk damaging your compuer with this card. I've been through 2 cards and both have failed and 1 of the 2 cards caught fire. I'm reading others have had the same issue. I'm switching to another company where they back their product.

1 out of 5 eggsCAUTION!! Be careful with this card.

Pros: Worked great while it was working. No hiccups.

Cons: After about four months of use I was playing a game and randomly my computer shut off. I tried to turn it back on to no avail. Trying to troubleshoot I took the 8 pin connector out of the gpu but left it in the PCI slot. To my surprise, the card caught FIRE when turning the computer on. Good thing nothing else was damaged and my computer is running great on integrated graphics. I'm currently in the process of getting Asus to replace the faulty gpu but they are trying to give me the run around saying they don't cover damage to the card.

Other Thoughts: Unless you want a gpu that can also light candles for you I wouldn't suggest this particular card as when researching what happened to me I see it happened to others.

Card worked fine when it was working but I can't give any more than one star for a product that can catch fire out of nowhere.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome for enthusiast gamers

Pros: Fast rendring
Cost Effective
Very quiet

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: Honestly loving this thing. I've seen a lot of reviews from people saying "Good til it dead" (well, not a lot, but too many in my opinion). Honestly, this thing is well built. Sometimes hardware is just dead, but if someone killed it they likely shocked it or OC'd it too hard (or another piece of hardware).

Great card, VERY quiet! The only time I could hear it is when I start/stop playing a game and I hear the fan switch speeds. Once it's going, you seriously would have to REALLY listen for it to hear it. (inside a Fractal R4 w/ Window case)

Playing Diablo 3 gives me about 200FPS standing still and about 120-170 at the highest load I can throw at it. I'm getting the full experience out of my 144Hz monitor! It's paired up with an i5-4670 and 8GB of DDR3 RAM (clocked at 1600). You can use these for reference.

Overall: Love it. Great price, great bang for your buck. LOVE it.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent card

Pros: Fairly simple install
Excellent graphics
Great tech support

Cons: Bulky, like most high-end graphics cards. It was a little bit of a pain to align it properly to the motherboard and the back of the case, but once it sat, it ran beautifully

Other Thoughts: For the price, it provides excellent graphic quality. I am fully able to run any game I currently own (most current ones are Diablo 3 and Titanfall) on maximum graphics with 0 hiccups.

1 out of 5 eggsASUS has terrible service support

Pros: Worked well until it went out.

Cons: ASUS gave me a Return Merchandise Authorization. This means I talked with support and they had me send it to them to repair or replace under warranty. It has been over 2 months and they still will not respond to me by phone or email. I have been told twice that they would "find out" what was taking so long and "get back" with me via email. They have not. Do a google search about asus RMA's and support and you'll see I'm not the only one they have ignored.

Other Thoughts: At this point, even if they return my card, I'll never buy ASUS again (and I have bought a lot of their stuff in the past). I may edit any bad reviews but that's it. No more ASUS products for me. Not because they don't make good products. It's just that you can't rely on them if you have to RMA something.

Manufacturer Response:

Greetings Jerry,

I am sorry that you are having issues with the RMA process. When you have time, please contact me through email regarding this case, including the RMA number within the subject line. 3597863.

Regards,

Mark

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great With Core i7

Pros: Very good gaming performance.

Quiet enough for HTPC.

Generates less heat than expected.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Installed this just over 2 months ago. After monitoring temperatures for a few weeks i removed both front intake fans. Now just using single 120mm rear exhaust fan to draw air through front and side grilles. Core i7 cpu / Noctua NH-C14 @900rpm / 6x2GB RAM / 2 x SSD / 3 x HDD / 750W psu.
This is a Home Theater PC. Also love gaming on our 50-inch plasma. The ASUS GTX760 will, of course, make some fan noise when you crank up the gaming, but it's nice & quiet when watching TV or movies. (As an aside, we're using a Western Digital WD10EURX hard drive for recording TV shows and it's also quiet in use.)
Several recent games run fast & smooth on high-ish settings. Decided to try the old graphics-killer game original Crysis and it runs very smooth on Very High setting. Not bad!

5 out of 5 eggsSimply great

Pros: An excellent card for a first time gaming rig build, or someone looking for an upgrade to dive into next gen gaming. Card runs quiet and cool; at 50% I still had a hard time hearing this thing. Definitely the best card for the price.

Cons: Literally none. You get a bit more than you pay for. If you wanted more out of it, should have opted for the 770.

Other Thoughts: If only the gap between the 760, 70, and 80 wasn't so drastic.
