Pros: Silence, HDMI, Component, and cost effective HTPC card. Its ASUS.

Cons: The S-Video to Component adapter did not work.

Other Thoughts: No problems with Drivers on Disk, did update drives from ASUS. After determining I had a bad adapter everything fell into place. Even with those extra hours I would say it was worth the pain. ASUS p4p800,p4 3.2

Pros: Low profile, AGP for aging systems. No Problems

Cons: Power connector location may interfere with low-profile cases.

Other Thoughts: USE ASUS supplied DRIVER DISK and make sure you have the latest .NET updates on your system.

Pros: Card works in all OS implementations I have used (WINXP,Win7 beta,Linux (Mandriva 09,Powerpack,) is an excellent little card ( runs BIOSHOCK on a P4 2.8ghz (single),3gig of value ram, and sound card on video card. More than does the job.Please read documentation that says use Asus Drivers.

Cons: Must use manufacturer drivers (standard ATI/AMD driver will not work) in Windows (XP or 7), had an issue early on with screen resolution in 7 (turned out to be monitor driver and not video drivers) Does not make toast.

Other Thoughts: For an aging AGP system that needs low profile...I think this is just about all you got ( it supports DX10) I have turned some old dells into HTTPCs with these cards..they can play modern games ( Crysis,low settings) and can do HD, a just good enough card for a very good price (esp if youget open box price) New egg, as usual rocks with shipping.

Pros: Very clean image quick install and very quiet (good because it is at church and everyone would hear it during the service otherwise) havent tested it with games but it works very good in the video recording system we have there.

Pros: Now this card is good looking and compact for the price. It allows me to use windows and it works without the installation of the drivers for simple tasks. The card seems like it has a noticeable advantage over the card I bought this to replace and I would like to actually see the cards capabilities once (hopefully) I get a driver working with it. It is also very quiet and it would be great in a HTPC application.

This card is receiving 2 eggs because I got my functionality out of it. If I bought this card for gaming or multimedia I would be very dissapointed and it would receive 1 egg.

Cons: I CANNOT find working drivers for this card and my computer. Every single set of drivers I have been pointed to so far do not work.

It brings me to the same black screen as some people have been mentioning here. Every time I boot back into safe mode and use system restore to take off the drivers and then I try again. I have tried about 6 or 7 sets and none of them allow me to get rid of this black screen that comes with the driver install.

I don't need the drivers to use this computer because it's a server but it would be nice to use some features that this card actually offered for $50. I don't know if it matters but I am using it in a Dell Dimension 4100 that does not support 8x AGP, it supports 4x.

Other Thoughts: Card works in XP on old machines for server applications that do not need multimedia. Otherwise, for gaming and video playback it doesn't work unless you can get the drivers working.

I am guessing the drivers on the disc were designed for vista or are incompatible with my hardware, but why would they do that? If the drivers on the disc were actually updated and there were multiple working versions included than I believe that I would not be here writing this review.

I have been trying for around 3 months now to get a working driver and have had no luck with the .inf editing, using multiple AGP hotfixes and I am still looking.

Pros: Cheap, workable HTPC card. Pretty much a painless install and very acceptable quality for a bargain price homebrew HTPC. Running Media Portal on top of XP Pro on an A64 X2 3800+ w/ 1GB Ram. Low Profile card.

Cons: I have had no issues.

Pros: For the price, the card performs well enough. Video playback is a breeze and it can handle light gaming. The audio passes through the DVI port as HDMI audio. Vista Ultimate looks great on my HDTV with this thing.

Cons: Drivers, drivers, drivers. I wasn't able to use the standard ATi drivers, so I'm still using the Asus ones. Admittedly, I didn't put much effort into making them work, but how much should you have to? Heatsink design could be better. The rather bulky heatsink is held on by only two spring-loaded plastic clips and tends to sag a bit depending on orientation. The power connector is in an akward place that doesn't allow me to run my pci tuner in the only remaining slot.

Other Thoughts: I'd considered modifying the card to suit my needs a bit better, but it seems more effort than what this cheap card is worth. The product is probably worth the money, if you don't mind the few cons.

Pros: I bought this to replace a nvida fx 5200, i'm quite a low budget person. Ever since the day i got it i've been completely happy with it, it does what i want it to. but i dont use it for too much besdies gaming. A bit of lag on higher quality games, but you get what you paid for.

Cons: Runs hot, sometimes driver issues.

Other Thoughts: I'm still happy with it since its agp and thats all i can get.

Pros: cheap

Cons: Installed in IBM 8187 and seems to work until it's pushed in opengl, terrible performance (FurMark = 5) and eventual corrupted graphics when running Second Life. Seems stable without gaming. Used the 8/8/2008 Asus drivers.

Other Thoughts: IBM doesn't document what AGP standard they employ, could be it's AGP2.0 and others have commented this card only works on AGP3.0 systems.

Pros: Works great once you get it installed

Cons: Compatibility problem with older motherboard with built-in Realtek based audio.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card to replace an X850 on my HTPC. When I installed it in Vista Ultimate, the machine booted to a blank screen. After trolling the Internet for a week to no avail, I realized that, when I booted up with the X850 with no other changes, I had sound, but noticeably when I put the HD 3450 in, I had none! The solution to getting it installed was to disable the on-board sound in the BIOS, and then install a PCI sound card. Now everything is peachy!
