5 out of 5 eggsLong Lasting

Pros: After 3 years, this card is still alive and works well. It's not great by today's standards, but it's still a solid card.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: We gave this card to my cousin after upgrading to a 480, which was then upgraded to a 280X.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Right price, works well (3 years), 3 video ports, handles graphics nicely.

Cons: Kinda big, gets clogged with dust pretty easily, and is hard to clean (but I still try). Should have had 2 DVI instead of the mini video port.

3 out of 5 eggsdecent card, had hardware issues

Pros: when it's working, good card for the price (got it sub 100)

Cons: within 6 months, card failed. video corruption, lost signal, etc. received a replacement card, which, to my disbelief and a hundred trouble shooting attempts later, also ended up being faulty (some type of issues).

Other Thoughts: to the manufacturer's credit, they did swap the card a second time with little hassle. the 3rd card works fine.

ok i won't say this is a bad brand over my bad luck, faulty hardware happens, but it was still a pretty big hassle and will be wary of the brand in the future.

5 out of 5 eggswish i could find another

Pros: i got this card re-furbished for 99.99$ 6 months ago and no problems what so ever-runs under load at 32 c-no jitter or lag and fan is quiet

Cons: single hdmi

Other Thoughts: man i shuda bought 2 / you guys with heat issues need to pull heat sink and re-do factory thermal paste (they sometimes dont do very good job,or use cheap paste) and see if that solves the over heating

2 out of 5 eggsDont do it

Pros: They still run.

Cons: I bought these cards for bit coin mining, which they did well. But after I was done mining I tried using them for normal use. These things suck for videos and video games. They run so freakin hot its a joke, any time I watch a movie and the film does any panning there's all kinds of video tearing. I tried Crossfiering them for BF3. haha, who was I kidding. All they did was freeze up. I checked hardware, drivers, the company doesnt even offer any bios updates.

Other Thoughts: Stay away fro, ATI/AMD. Go NVIDIA.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat midrange performance

Pros: - Great performance (Unigine's OilRush mostly 50+ FPS at 1920x1080 at full detail, minus AA)
- Plenty of memory
- Not obscenely large
- Modern connectivity (1ea HDMI, DVI, Mini DP)
- Thermal sensor

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Bought this card based on the price at the time vs its average placement among graphics cards benchmarked by Phoronix. Not all manufacturers choose to build their cards with a temperature sensor; I'm glad Sapphire did. The fan makes no noticeable noise over other fans in my case, which I don't think are particularly loud. It works and behaves well with both the Gallium3D and Catalyst Linux drivers.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card with Long-Term Value

Pros: *Can play a lot of games on ultra graphics on a single card, although that's fixing to change with recent games such as Battlefield 3.
*Quite even when playing graphics-intense games
*HDMI and DVI input.
*Runs DirectX 11.
*Handles multiple displays pretty well and the CCC software can adjust each display separately.

Cons: *Does anyone use the 3rd input device?! Might as well replace it with another HDMI input.

Other Thoughts: Bought this when I built my first rig 2-3 years ago back when this card's value was worth $200+. Card is still running strong as ever. Definitely still has value today and can easily be a low-budget Xfire solution now that it's a LOT cheaper than it used to be and even then, just one card can satisfy your graphic needs.

Side note: People who complained that this card was too big should've done their research. Never had a problem with size with all the case swaps I've been through.

2 out of 5 eggsGood Graphics, but not stable enough, too hot

Pros: It handles the game it came with really well.

Cons: Way too hot. not stable. Crashes often. Seems to crash due to overheating. My case has tons of airflow and was never hot until adding this card. one of the DVI ports went darker than the rest after some time.

1 out of 5 eggsWorthless Warranty

Pros: Good value... if it survived its warranty period

Cons: Died after 5 months. Worthless warranty. No response from Sapphire via their own ticketing system.

Other Thoughts: I heard Sapphire's warranty support was bad, but I wasn't expecting this. I have to say I won't buy another product of theirs and would suggest that you avoid this company!
