3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Card runs all games at max settings. Noticeable difference from previous card which was a GeForce 8800 GT.

Cons: 1st card died after 7 months of average use. Turned it on one day to 3 red diag lights. Went though Sapphire RMA process which was really easy, had a RMA number in about 4 hours. 2 weeks later, Sapphire had sent a brand new card to replace the one that died.

Other Thoughts: Hope new cards lasts longer than 7 months.

5 out of 5 eggsA Monster!

Pros: - Fast
- Cool Looking
- Smokes all my games @ 1680x1050 all max.
- Good overclocking utilities / fan control

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Big, but fit in my Antec 900 without having to remove any hard drive cages or anything. Snug fit though so check your case specs. Overall, awesome card, great price. Love it!

2 out of 5 eggsHorrible Cooling

Pros: Excellent card on ATI's part.

Cons: Sapphire ruined this by slapping a poorly designed cooling device on a great card. The cooling screws up my entire case's airflow, the fan doesn't have any directional flow.

Other Thoughts: when I purchased this card, I made the mistake of getting a cheaper manufactured one. No issues with card other than stock cooling, just get something else air-based, a water-block for this card doesn't seem to exist, it does for other manufactured cards, just not this model, water-cooling was my original idea for this card, but that has gone down the drain.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap upgrade

Pros: Great price point, much improved over 8800gts

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: Really wowed by the increase in performance from the 8800gts 512 to this GPU, no heating problems, easy install, really big card, bought as open box, good price,
please note;two 6 pin pci-e power connectors required ,
gpu temp at idle 27c, have Rosewill mid tower case with good front to back air flow, make the plunge, a lot of bang for the buck

1 out of 5 eggsSecond DVI port busted after 4 mos

Pros: Very powerful GPU. Crysis runs w/ no problems whatsoever.

Cons: The second DVI port stopped working 4 mos after purchase. Deliberating if I should follow up with an RMA and suffer the downtime.

Image shearing when in 1920x1080 resolution (happens on both my monitor and 2 HDTVs).

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: * Great card for the price
* Supports lots of resolutions which I find helpful as I switch between a DLP tv and a monitor frequently.
* Every game I've thrown at it has come through with max or near max settings.

Cons: * Sometimes has problems with HDMI. I'm using a DVI to HDMI cable for my tv and sometimes when I turn on the tv I have to reboot my computer to get it to work. I've tried another card and it doesn't happen with that one so I'm fairly sure its the card, but certainly not a big enough problem to take an egg off.

Other Thoughts: If your looking for a high end card but don't need bleeding edge this card is aweosme.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: This is a great card. I have not had any problems with this card. Price is pretty good for all the power you get. No heat issue, no driver issue- even in Vista64. Works excellent in all games, Crisis, etc.. except one.(see cons)

Cons: In Everquest, there is a statue in the guild hall. My computer with a Nvidia 9800GT can see the statue in color in all it's glory, My computer with this video card only shows a Black solid figure, no color, no features. Same video setting on both.

Other Thoughts: I will buy another one when availability comes back so I can crossfire.

1 out of 5 eggsWas awesome and then broke

Pros: Ran great for about a month and a half.....

Cons: Tried to turn my computer on one day and was greeted by a black screen and the fan on this video card running at 100%. Pulled the card and tried to re-seat many times with no luck. Swapped the card for an 8800gt I had laying around and computer boots right up. Seems Im not the only one with this problem.

Other Thoughts: Sapphire customer service has been quick to respond so far and answered me on a Sunday. Video card was sent out the them but has not been received back yet so cannot say how they will handle this but so far there have been no problems with them.
