4 out of 5 eggsPlenty to love and hate

Pros: Incredibly small footprint, sips power, takes SO-DIMM memory, onboard mSATA slot, integrated GeForce GT520 graphics, lots of video out options, included Intel wireless N network card with leads to external/integrated antennae, dual core CPU with hyperthreading which means 4 threads - incredible value and power consumption with a strong total package.

Cons: Max RAM speed is 1066,mSATA is only SATA-2, only supports 4GB RAM, only 2 SATA ports, and one of them can't be used if you use the mSATA slot

Other Thoughts: Overall this is a really nice package and it SIPS power, but it has some serious limitations. Makes for an excellent HTPC and will hopefully serve as a great rig for my kids to surf and do some light gaming. However, 4GB is the minimum RAM I'd use on any Win7/Win8 rig, and I'd much prefer 8GB, especially when I have to allocate RAM to the integrated VGA. I understand that this board's intended use is a truly small form factor, but having 4 SATA ports instead of 2 would be a HUGE leap in functionality.

The first unit I received was defective (single long post code), so between that and it's shortcomings mentioned in cons, I had to deduct an egg, but no more, as this package offers up too much value in it's compact form.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat HTPC mainboard!

Pros: Small footprint, integrated CPU, built in WiFi, USB 3.0 and more.

Cons: Wifi is only G not N and needs more than 4 GB RAM if using for an HTPC server - but that may be in combination with typical Windows bugs

Other Thoughts: Zotac has a great product line and almost all are perfect for HTPC use. I'm using it as a media server running Windows 7 Ultimate - Plex

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for low power HTPC

Pros: Bought as Black Friday to replace an older Pentium-D HTPC system. Dual core, with hyperthreading on top of that. I have 4GB and one internal TV tuner in chassis and two networked tuners. Have no hiccups watching one/recording two more at the same time with Win7/64bit OS with Media Center (same for BD playback with Nero). Fast I/O, running a projector and a cloned monitor on video. Optical audio out works well. Board just sips power - just enough power to work as an HTPC. GB ethernet is capable of jumbo frame support as well.

Cons: Has only two SATA ports, so ODD/HDD are about it - the mSATA for an SSD uses one of the SATA ports, so can't have SSD/HDD/ODD combo internal. I used USB3 and an external HDD dock to add more to system. Only time it ever felt "slow" was when installing all the Win7 updates on a new install.

5 out of 5 eggsMini-TX Atom D2700

Pros: This is one Superb Mini-TX Atom D2700 MB, The heat sink is impressive for cooling a 10 Watt Atom processor (and who know what else is under the hood). The neatest feature is the on board NVIDIA GPU, Fantastic graphics at 1920 x 1200. It even runs flawless with my old Vista OS. The DVI and HDMI ports both work great… Not to mention the sweet USB 3.0 and WiFi additions. Even though, I removed the Cute-little Intel WiFI Mini PCIe card. As, I’m using it with a copper network.
I had previously been running an Intel D2700-MUD ITX, and was never able to get a workable Vista Graphics Driver from Intel, ever though they claimed their Win 7 driver “is” compatible. And even after upgrading to Win-7 the Intel GPU video was like looking through “MUD”. Clearly Intel’s embedded GPU is their weakest link… Do your self a favor… spend the extra bucks, it’s worth ever Penny.
And INTEL, seriously… ”WAKE UP”… NVIDIA is kicking your B___. Either get IN or get OUT, of graphics. No One, Not even a Loyal Customer… wants a Half baked effort…

Cons: Cons? Yea that is a though one, let me think on this a bit…
Oh YEA… NEWEGG… I received this yesterday the day the rebate ended. And I found out this morning, the day after the Rebate ended, you droped the price another 10 BUCK$ and extended the rebate another month… It’s not the first time your done this to me…. YOU owe me… STILL!!!!…

Other Thoughts: Maybe Zotac could improve their BIOS setup a bit, its there, it just seemed a bit cryptic… with poor setting highlights and functional descriptions. But Hey, the Zotac BIOS background graphics are impressive. (Like that just what we need see… when concentrating on BIOS wording and make critical decisions)…

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing board for a media PC

Pros: This board was an impulse buy during newegg's recent black friday sale to replace an older atom d525 + ion Asus board I have currently for a media PC. Although I haven't started using it for it's intended purpose as of yet, I have played with it a lot and it's actually far superior to my old Ion.

Cons: None as it's amazing for its intended purpose.

Other Thoughts: To the idiot that gave it 1 star just because its caps weren't on doesn't help anybody form a useful opinion about this motherboard. One of the 2 caps were off on my board as well. That should have been under thoughts since it's a newegg issue and doesn't have any affect on how the board does what it designed to do.

People this dumb Should not be allowed to post on newegg.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat powerful Mini-Itx

Pros: Powerful Atom processor, very sleek, onboard wifi and bluetooth are great features, mSata allows the board to fit into compact spaces, low heat dissipation and power consumption--exactly what I needed to make my home media center! I got it for a whopping $120 during the post cyber monday sales along with a rebate. Great bang for the buck performance!

*Don't let the other review dissuade you, not a repack at all, the protective covers on the wifi studs were also off on mine, likely fell off during packing/shipping. Other than this, nothing to prove its a repack.

Cons: non so far

5 out of 5 eggsGreat HTPC Motherboard

Pros: Complete ITX HTPC solution. Everything an HTPC might need or want is rolled up into this neat little motherboard form USB 2.0 to USB 3.0, wireless and wired LAN, HDMI, DisplayPort, etc. The mobo has a large fan and heat sink and the fan is quiet. With BluRay drive and appropriate software, it plays BluRay discs perfectly and the display was awesome.

Cons: None that I can think of yet.

Other Thoughts: I do wish it had just one more SATA port to take it to the outside world for external storage of media. Not a big deal, just a wish.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Slick Mobo, exaclty what I was looking for to use in HTPC

Cons: Unit appeared to be repack. Protective covers were off WiFi studs and jammed in Mobo between processor and Wifi Card. bezel for back of computer was too large
