1 out of 5 eggsProblems

Pros: 0. None. Null.

Cons: I have had nothing but problems with this board. HDMI won't output sound. Installing the AMD drivers crashes it - both the proprietary drivers in Linux/*buntu, and in Windows 7. Now to attempt the return process.

Other Thoughts: My lesson has been learned in not trying to cheap out on buying motherboards.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear customer,

It's a possibility that you might have just stumbled upon a defective board. If that was not that case, did you contact our tech support? If you do get the chance to try our other products, our great tech support team is available to walk you through any problems you might have to ensure a smooth experience.

2 out of 5 eggsnot worth it

Pros: if it did what it was supposed to, it would be pretty great. it's supposed to play 1080p video, have working usb 3, etc.

wireless worked well.

Cons: HDMI out doesn't work. USB 3 ports won't work or will cut out partway thru file transfers, and 2 reinstalls of windows and attempts to reinstall drivers never corrected the problem. dropped a hard drive connection during a transfer.
read and write is about half of what this SSD gets on other rigs.

if it was just DOA, it would have saved a pile of time. Instead, it works, just very poorly.

Other Thoughts: unlikely to get your rebate as well.

3 out of 5 eggsGood while it lasted..

Pros: I have been very happy with the board- and has run great for 7 months.
No issues with HDMI or the Wireless

Used as my bedroom HTPC, 4 GB of crucial ram, 1 Tb Seagate hard drive, nMEDIAPC ZE-C268 case, blu ray drive, and a windows remote, Win7 X64 ultimate.

Cons: RMA submitted @ 7 months of very light use-

Hindsight- I could have built/bought a machine o meet the task for less $ but oh well.

Any complaints until this failure have gone to other components of the the build.

Other Thoughts: RMA submitted @ 7 months of very light use-
Registered right away and has 2 year warranty :-)
Let's see how support does.

I didn't bother with the rebate as it wasn't going to come anyways.

3 out of 5 eggsCute little thing

Pros: Installed in a small itx cabinet and have a nice little desktop running Debian Squeeze. Speed seems enough to do anything I've asked of it so far. Seems to out perform the Atom CPU I have in another box. AMD does it again. Kudos to Newegg for their almost overnight delivery.

Cons: I've been waiting for three months for the Zotac $30 MIR. Seems like this board was less of a bargain then I bargained for. A broken promise lowers my opinion of Zotac more than the $30 extra it cost me. Probable won't buy another one from them for a long time.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Peikko,

Thank you for choosing ZOTAC! I'm sorry you did not get your MIR and we'd really like for you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please email me at juliette@zotacusa.com and I will see to it that you receive the rebate.

Thanks,
Juliette

1 out of 5 eggsHDMI does not work

Pros: None

Cons: The HDMI does not work

Other Thoughts: They asked me to get Newegg to replace this defective board (never worked) but it is past the rep[lacement time. They will not honor the warranty (and this is a KNOWN issue).

1 out of 5 eggsDoes not work

Pros: None that I can find since it does not work on HDMI

Cons: The HDMI does not work as claimed. Calling their support for over a month and was told that it is a known issue that it doesn't work and that they are working on a fix. Today they tell me that they can't find a fix and send it back to my retailer at my expense. I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General and will consider a class action lawsuit.

Other Thoughts: If you purechase this board to use with HDMI, don't!

4 out of 5 eggsWorks As Expected

Pros: Competitive price for a lot of features.

Cons: None really. It works as expected.

Other Thoughts: Running as a HTPC with an OpenElec Fusion build. Works just fine even streaming 1080p mkv's.

4 out of 5 eggsNo Problems Here...

Pros: Decent board for a great price, everything seems to be working, like the HDMI, USB 3.0 and Wifi.

Cons: None so far. Fingers crossed

Other Thoughts: Built the computer (almost to the exact spec, except I used 7 64 bit w/ 8gb RAM, that Newegg built for the mini-itx video). It's definitely faster than my old laptop (Acer 5630) with 1.66 Intel core 2 duo and my netbook (Samsung N150) with 1.6 Atom N450. Haven't had any of the HDMI issues that I have read others have had. I don't know if Zotac has identified the issue or if routing it through my AVR is allowing HDMI but I have not had an issue with the board yet.
