5 out of 5 eggsLike a rock...still going strong after 7 hard-working years!

Pros: - Reliability
- Overclocking
- Upgradeable to keep up with the times

Cons: - Some issues with add-on cards
- No SSHD or USB3 - Needed add-on card

Other Thoughts: It seems really hard for me to admit that I've had the same motherboard for seven years now. Although I've upgraded my processor, memory, and the system around it, including the case and power supply, this motherboard has been rock solid and reliable through an entire gamut of tasks covering high end gaming including simulators and VR, graphic design (Photoshop, Maya, Premiere, etc), and your general entertainment.

This bad boy has been overclocked and currently has 24GBs of ram and about 6 hard drives connected to it. It's stayed on for most of that seven years. EVGA simply made one of the best motherboards I've ever used and I had to post a review to let everyone know how great it's been.

I'm still using it, so I've got my fingers crossed for another half year or so more of it as I prepare to upgrade for a better Oculus Rift experience!

4 out of 5 eggsLasted 5 years nearly to the day

Pros: Solid over clocking board. Was able to hit 4.0Ghz on my i7 920 and kept stable for five solid years. I've been extremely pleased with its performance.

Cons: It did eventually die, it started with the blue screens that progressively got worse. I RMAed the board and unfortunately had an amazing week and only a week.

Other Thoughts: EVGA is great and I can't say enough good things about their customer service. All the guys I've talked to have been amazing. If I didn't have such a great job now I would want to work for these guys. I'll keep buying their stuff and recommending to friends.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible Product Period.

Pros: Lifetime Warrenty!

Cons: Lifetime of RMA's!

This is the worst motherboard i have EVER owned. Ive owned over 5 computers and this motherboard just takes the cake for POC award.

First motherboard overvolted my CPU (says 1.28/auto under settings, and in "health section it says over 1.5v's", points on board confirm this)

Rmd'd that board, received new one, audio board went out in a week, then after that it started overvolting as well.

Rmd'd, received another board, audio was out on it on arrival.............year or so later goes completely dead with FF error code

Rmd'd, board arrives DEAD..........................

Good Job EVGA your the best, im only out about $100's in shipping and thermal past, not to mention the hours and hours of trouble shooting these POC boards...

Other Thoughts: Lifetime of Regret for ever picking a EVGA board.

5 out of 5 eggsLongevity

Pros: Okie i bought this board early 09 it is now almost 2014, I put a i7 920 2.53 quad @ 3.4ghz currently 12gb triple channel ddr and besides replacing the video card as a upgrade this system has lasted over 5 years and maintained itself playing new games at top settings for over 5 years i can honestly prolly eek out 2015+ with just upgrading th ram to 24gb.. Really amazing longest running mobo /system i ever had

Cons: It is starting to show some age no sata 3 or usb 3.0 ..not a huge deal breaker yet to make me part with it.

Other Thoughts: EVGA lifetime warrenty

2 out of 5 eggsGOOD WHILE IT LASTED

Pros: Good looking, it worked good for the first year, then memory slots failed, then bottom half of the board failed.

Cons: it failed gradually with time, first year memory slots go dark, third year bottom half stopped working including display lcd.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Motherboard

Pros: This Motherboard has worked without flaw having 2 CPU (latest i7 980), 4 video cards (latest 680gtx), 12 GB 1600 mhz ram, one bios flash update and Creatives Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion Series. This board is unbelievable! I wish I could buy another and use it to build another with my i7960 and left over older video cards oh well ha

Cons: The cooling towers on the board prevented me from installing an H80 water cooler and had to use the H60 due to space and conflicts with the Silver Stone TJ10B tower.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's been working well for 4 years now very solid

Cons: After 4 years of heavy use the north-bridge fan is starting to whine and possibly go bad. As this is a non standard heat sink and fan it doesn't make resolving the issue easy.

I have had issues with USB devices being dropped upon system posting. Meaning the device needs to be disconnected and reconnected for it to work. I guess this is a common issue with this board I had to tweak some voltage settings that I found researching online and then it has been solid every since.

5 out of 5 eggs3 years and counting!

Pros: Everything. Layout, looks, BIOS options, rock solid stability, tons of ports... just awesome.

Cons: No USB3 or SATA6? lol

Other Thoughts: Owned mine since it came out and it hasn't missed a beat. Never an issue except for the initial setup of my OCZ RevoDrive.

5 out of 5 eggsRock Solid Board

Pros: Fast, reliable. Built the rig in 2009 and have never had a single issue with it. Overclocking is easy and EVGA support is superb.
