Fine Board
- Pros: Board is rock solid with 9950BE..in spite of the fact that info from Foxconn never really says it will support the 9950 quad core. running the board at 2.6 default on the cpu and am gradually increasing the Voltage to see if cpu heating is effected. 31C avg--boots at 26C--have not seen it over 37C even after and during heavy gaming time. Everything works great except(see cons) on board
video. Easy install and good positioning on board for everything. Bios is over run with OC settings: multipliers, voltages, ram settings etc etc Appears system will end up at 3.0 with no appreciable temp negs.
- Cons: Running a single Nvidia EVGA GTX 280--Had to disable the on board video in intense gaming in DirectX 10 to avoid--get this; yellow or white or grey screen of death. System would lock and require reboot. When Physix is finally written in to games and drivers, this will probably be fixed. Bios will NOT let you disable the onboard video--have to do it in device manager.
- Other Thoughts: System Info:
Vista Ultimate 64bit Lian Li Armorsuit EVGA GTX 280 8 gigs of 1066 Mushkin(bios sees it all) Quad core 9950 BE cpu 300 gig velociraptors x 2-not raided-sata Lite-on dvd and Lite-on divd r/w/rw Dell 30 inch monitor Logitech g-15 Keyboard, G5 Logitech mouse and Flexiglow gamepad Silverstone 800 watt PS
All the above from Newegg except the Ultra cpu cooler from Frozencpu.
As Usual, the stuff from Newegg arrives before the tracking number..Newegg continues to be the very best!
amazing!
- Pros: ROCK solid board! didn't have ANY problems installing it with my vista machine, just took my old 550 motherboard out put this one in OS started as if nothing happened (except for drivers etc. but that's the least of my worries...)
Got my AMD 6000+ OC'd to 3.5Ghz on air, my old motherboard was only capable of 3.3Ghz, and for an athlon, 3.5Ghz is pretty amazing, specifically on air
I have had absolutely no problems whatsoever with this motherboard, and it comes with a ton of stuff aswell as the ability to do tri-sli and dedicated phsyx card, trust me, you get this motherboard and you will not be dissapointed, by far best 780a motherboard i've seen with a decent price
- Cons: Sata ports are sideways instead of pointing up...which is a problem in all scenarios in my opinion, same reason they shouldn't put power connectors on the back of a GPU, it makes it so you either have to move hard drives or wedge it inbetween the motherboard and metal piece holding your hard drives (if your hard drives point toward the side door for your case) but other then that, absolutely no problem
- Other Thoughts: Guy that reviewed below me said he couldn't disable the integrated GPU... but i was able to in the bios? i think he overlooked it as it doesn't exactly say what it is
AMD 6000+ 3.5Ghz 8800 GT OC (soon to be two in SLI) 4Gigs (2+2) OCZ Titanium DDR2 800 ram 400 gig OS drive + 750 gig data drive 600 watt 4-rail FSP group PSU

Get it, You won't be disappointed.
- Pros: This board is great. It has a lot of safety features. Dual bios. Indicator lights everywhere. It comes with Phoenix Quantom bios. Supports RAID 0 ,1 ,0+1 (or 10) Overclockable.
- Cons: Owned this system for 1 year and haven't found any yet on this board.

Good MB SLOW Site.
- Pros: Pretty much everything. Dual lans means that I can bridge them and connect my other pc to the net without running another 35' cable to the router on the other side of the room. On board video is fine for everyday tasks like watching videos on line. Aegis panal does a good job in fan speed department. Painless driver and bios updates via Fox Update.
- Cons: -1 egg for support site. Foxconn site download speed of 21KBs means that a chipset driver download of 179MB is a good time to go see a movie or take a long nap. Onbord video finiky about refresh rates and resolutions (guess I'm a bit spoiled by card in other rig. Aegis panel won't load at startup without error AND broken by driver update (rolling back to old driver fixed broken part). No Cool-n-Quiet? Support site could use a little beefing up on the info side, relies heavily on tec support contact.
- Other Thoughts: My AM2 6400 black box runs 15C. cooler on this board than on my old m2npv-vm, which is now running a single core for my older games (Red Baron 3D can't be slowed down enough on a dual core). After hooking up 4th hard drive board temp steady at 52C. Blown head gasket put my dreams of SLI on hold for time being.
Love it!
- Pros: Supports both AM2 and AM2+ CPUs and conducts heat well. Plenty of SATA ports and board is nicely spread out. Plent of space for sli'd video cards.
- Cons: Only one EIDE channel so i had to do some fancy manuvering to get my IDE hard drive to work along with my IDE CD drive because of the size of my case (XCLIO Windtunnel).
- Other Thoughts: Love this board though! if you are debating whether or not to get this, get it. well worth it!
