Pros: Simple, easy to use

Cons: RELIABILITY!!!!

Hassle to RMA since you need original receipt.

Other Thoughts: I usually go with Asus for my computer builds, but that day I was talking to another builder and he suggested ASRock since it was cheaper. I guess you get what your pay for. This is my second build with ASRock mobo, hopefully the other one doesn't die on me.

Pros: Looks

Cons: I used this on a spare computer. Had problems from day 1 with bent USB pin and other problems (booting, bios) so I finally gave up and trashed it and it felt great. It worked about 10% of the time I used. Replaced with competitor brand and have not had a single problem.

Unfortunately, due to nature of electronic product, it can happen. However, trouble shooting can be done by below steps; remove the mainboard from inside computer to outside. You can place the mainboard on empty mainboard box, check the CPU pins are bent or missing then reseat the CPU to the CPU socket with heatsink fan as well, inserts 1 memory module only to A1 slot, Video card, clear CMOS and try again. In some cases, power supply causing the system to instability or even no post due to not providing enough power. If still having same issues please contact our tech support at 909-590-8308. Pros: Worked well while it worked.
Good layout, compact form.

Cons: The first one I had had the onboard audio go out on it. I thought it was something I did (because the audio components are so close to the PCI slots) but with this one completely dying I am starting to think the boards themselves were part of a bad batch.

Pros: It seems like a really solid board. I would buy from ASRock again.

Cons: I don't normally like perpendicular SATA connections because I have a lot of right-angle cables, but I'm not sure edge-mounted SATA connections would have fit in my case anyway.

Other Thoughts: We bought this because it has the ports and size we needed. That's what you should do, too.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked great for 13 months, until tonight

Pros: Easy setup, pretty versatile for being so cheap.

Cons: HDMI quality wasn't as good as DVI for some reason. Now fails to even POST.

Other Thoughts: 3 short beeps, followed by short beeps, repeating. Cleaned all the dust out, tried clearing CMOS, swapping RAM, switching from HDMI to DVI, it just will no longer POST. Worked fine last night.

Pros: covers all my needs and works without flaw

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I chose this MoBo specifically to accept components from another (more advanced) rig as I upgraded it. The features of this MoBo for value are excellent.

On a side note, I was getting BSODs (Win7) from the rig I had this MoBo on. ASRock's customer service was VERY HELPFUL in determing that the MoBo was NOT at issue. They RMA'd and picked up the shipping, tested the unit, and shipped it back - all at no cost to me. I later identified the problem as an incompatible PCI card...

Pros: Great board and value with RAID. I have 3 of these boards and was here to buy another since the other brand of board I decided to try has let me down twice within days. To bad these are OOS now.
