ASRock H77 Pro4-M LGA 1155 Intel H77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: -What can i say, it works great.
-I got it for $70.00 on Black Friday, and i'd definitely pay $90.00 for it today.
-ASRock Extreme Tuning Something or another is a nice little program. Easy on resources, and it tells you some nice information. Has overclocking, but doubt it does much. Its a non-K CPU on an H77 board so that doesn't make since.
-Gobs of SATA Connectors(See Cons)

Cons: **These are more annoyances**
-Has a bunch of ASRock fast this, and fast that. Don't install it, its stupid.(Minus the ASRock Extreme Tuning Something or another)
-The audio connector is under the GPU if you use the 3.0 slot. Not a big deal, but i installed my GPU prior to the front audio, and spent forever looking for that connector. Learn from my stupidity.
-Gobs of SATA Connectors, but i guess your only supposed to use these ones that are sticking off the side of the board. I don't know, i only needed 2 so i didn't bother looking into the subject.

Other Thoughts: Very Happy, works good, has more features then other boards like it. What more can I say?

Pros: the bios look really cool

Cons: everything, out of the box started having problems. memory slots were not working, new egg said the CPU needles were bend, which they were not, but asrock is such a bad company that they dont want anything back because they know its bad as soon as it leaves their hands.

Other Thoughts: dont buy asrock products unless you want to know what a bad experience is. product is horrible; however newegg valued me as a customer and gave me a refund even tho they claimed i physical damaged the motherboard which isnt true at all. And for that i thank you newegg. and will continue to purchase from them

Also running plug-and play back up drives (lap top hard-drives) using removable cage. Recognizes these perfectly as I plug in and out. No reboots required. Awesome! Haven't tried the E-SATA yet.

Cons: none

Pros: Alot of features. Almost everything works. Plenty of ports, fan headers. System (when I got it working) ran my 42" hd system beautifully.

Cons: Possible problems with ram compatibility. See below. SDD\SDD ports can prove difficult to connect cables with because of side mount if you are using a small case. If that is the situation you find yourself in, I reccomend connecting the cables to the sata 6 ports first, THEN completing install of board into case. There are two sata ports that face UP that you can use for slower components. (DVD)

Other Thoughts: Recommended Ram does not run at rated speed. Installed 2 sticks of Gskill Ram, stock #F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR2 listed as compatible, but did NOT run at rated speed. (1600) Board properly identified the ram and ran the ram at its rated specs, but the system would not stay running. Was forced to downclock. Removed everything from board with the exception of the SSD drive, CPU and Ram and had trouble with crashing, video corruption, and freezing. Ran the board with onboard cpu video only and tried with older Geforce 460 with same problems. Ran with 1 stick of memory, in various slots, same problems. Testing with other stick, no go.

After doing additional research for this board, found that many people are having issues with ram. After several hours of troubleshooting, downclocked ram to 1333 and board ran fine. Paired with an I3-2100, Samsung 840 128gb, and a high quality corsair power supply. Ran bios on default settings. The downclocking issue isn't worth my time and trouble to RMA, as it isn't a gaming pc. Leaving open the possibility that the ram is faulty, and will try other ram when I get the chance. If it is incorrectly binned ram, then the board gets five stars. Will update once I find out.

Pros: None

Cons: Bought this motherboard several weeks ago as X-mass present for my son, I removed protector and went to install CPU and found pins on board out of place. Bought to long ago to RMA. AS Rock you have ripped me for the last time, sticking with Gigabyte from now on!!!!

Pros: -microATX
-Dual Channel with 4 Dimms (2 per channel)
-Tons of expandability for its form factor
-Plenty of SATA6 and SATA3 ports

Cons: None as of yet

Other Thoughts: My first ASRock purchase. I have been a PC enthusiast for many years and usually buy Gigabyte branded MOBOs. Did not want to pass up the deal on this board for the price, so took a chance. ASRock did not disappoint. I have this thing running 4 HDDs and 1 SSD in my media box for well over a month now without a hitch. I have not turned the machine off since I built it and installed the OS. Have it running Ubuntu currently. Hope to continue this streak with their product.

Have not taken advantage of the PCIe slots yet. Overall very impressed though. Has great features for a hard to beat price on my opinion.

Pros: Excellent packaging and documentation.

Cons: Board would not boot. RMA'd to NewEgg, got damaged during shipment, they just sent it back without replacing it. And I'm not going to even bother with ASRock's customer support, because they do not provide a phone number to call, and their RMA policy would result in the same thing NewEgg just did to me.

Other Thoughts: NewEgg, this is the very first time I've been burned by you. I'll still be a customer, just a very surly one. And now I have to buy another board for my client's computer. I think I'll stick to MSI for now on.

Pros: Inexpensive. 4 DIMM. Easy to use

Cons: I RMA'd this board because it went out after a 2 weeks of usage. Newegg refused my RMA because they said that the pins were bent in the CPU Socket. I've been building systems for 10 years and have never encountered this issue. I think they are trying to get out of refunding me my money. ATTENTION NEWEGG, DON'T REPLY TO THIS COMMENT BY APOLOGIZING AND DIRECTING ME TO THE MANUFACTURER NOR SUGGEST INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING AND YOU ARE WRONG FOR REFUSING MY RMA.

Pros: Lots of features for the price. The BIOS has an excellent interface. HDMI.

Cons: Sideways SATA connectors (I can't use them all due to space).

Other Thoughts: I'm really happy with this board and I'd purchase it again.

Cons: Received the first one, got a cpu error. The pins were bent. RMA'ed it back to newegg. Received the 2nd one, won't post at all. Never buying ASRock again.

Please trouble shooting the mainboard for below steps with known good components; remove the mainboard from inside computer to outside. Place the mainboard on empty mainboard box, clear the CMOS, check the mainboard’s CPU socket pins should not be bent, reseat the processor to the CPU socket with heatsink fan as well if socket pins are normal, inserts 1 memory module only in A1 slot, Onboard Video, power supply with connecting 24 pins + 8 or 4 pins ATX power to the mainboard, plug the computer case’s power switch to mainboard's front panel header and try again.
