5 out of 5 eggsgreat mobo

Pros: Inexpensive, high quality for the price, everything works on the first go, my build turned out to be rock solid in terms of having ZERO issues what so ever. So for just 'drop in everything/quick builds' I highly recommend this for no hassle builds that just work without worrying about configuring anything.

Cons: zero

Other Thoughts: Currently using this motherboard for a budget gaming build and its pretty nice for the money. I literally just dropped everything in and connected everything up, and everything just worked, simple as that. no problems what so ever. Not really into overclocking so Not sure how it will fare in that realm (it might be good at that too i'm not sure). But for a easy and fast build without any troubleshooting and no problems then this is the mobo for you. lol. im horrible at reviews...I know. but I thought I would give this 5 stars since everything actually worked on this first go! whoohooo! :D

4 out of 5 eggscheap and reliable

Pros: I needed a cheap reliable mobo for a budget build for a family member. this fit the bill perfectly. Had no trouble setting it up. just put it in case, installed components and done. posted on first boot. A decent value. This is my second mobo from biostar and so far no complaints.

Cons: the minus egg is for the same reason the previous poster had stated. it lacks a few somewhat standard connection options. normally on a budget item i wouldn't be picky about it considering the price but the truth is for about five to ten bucks more you really could get a mobo with more features. i didn't bother cause i knew the intended recipient of the PC would have no need of them.

Other Thoughts: so the egg drop is more a question of value/feature issue then one of performance. again so far I've had no troubles or issues at all with it. and this PC gets used for a couple of hours everyday. Oh FYI the version of CCC that comes with the disc is laughably old. Version 8, while the most current version is 12.34 so just do yourself a favor and download ccc from the amd site or you'll simply end up installing the software (which contains the chip-set drivers as well as gpu drivers) twice.

4 out of 5 eggsAn ok board for low-end APUs

Pros: Everything works as it's supposed to.

Cons: Lack of "modernization" with no DVI or HDMI ports, no USB 3.0, and only SATA II 3.0Gbps capable.

Other Thoughts: I used this for a low-end inexpensive build for an older woman to replace her relatively ancient computer. I reused her old monitor, which was only VGA to begin with, the SSHD I used wouldn't benefit much from SATA III 6.0Gbps, and she doesn't even know what USB 3.0 is, so I didn't see the need to charge her for more than she'd ever need or use. This was coupled with an A4-4000 dual core which all works for a pretty snappy budget computer for her basic usage.

3 out of 5 eggsIt's good, nothing more.

Pros: It's a very inexpensive board that supports my processor and 3 sata connectors, what more do you want? It's also very small concidering its a mini ATX card.

Cons: It's kind of a pain to set up if your UPGRADING your computer to this, but if this is your first motherboard, than it's okay.

Other Thoughts: If you had the money, go for a motherboard with more preformance

1 out of 5 eggsDOA twice!!!!

Pros: Absolutely nothing!

Cons: Were can I start, the first MOBO I received I was excited to get a inexpensive rig going, but the mobo posted for a few seconds then died and would only boot when the cpu 4-pin was removed signifying a bad mobo... then after the first RMA (Which I paid shipping back!!!) and the second one will not display anything at all! and has the 8 beeps of death! I have rest the cpu and every trick in the book to no avail!!!! I am returning this one for a full refund and will not ever get this brand ever again two mobos in a row I have serious doubts about the QC of this brand and it shows!!!!! and I will pay return shipping!!!!!!

Other Thoughts: Do not buy this! if anyone does you will regret it save your money and time and go with a differnt brand, this is a horrible experince all I wanted was to get a budget rig going but looks like delay after delay.. and still no rig...
