2 out of 5 eggs1 Month in

Pros: Price
Overclocking features

Cons: Well it's dieing, have had it less than a month and it's dieing, bad capacitor or vram or mosfet or something, I'm losing FSB daily now to keep it able to communicate with the ram without BSODing. Trust me spent days hoping it was something else failing and not the mobo, of course eliminated everything else. Get what you pay for I guess, going with Gbyte next time I think.

Other Thoughts: would have been worth the money if I even got 2 years out of it... not a month.

5 out of 5 eggsadded review

Pros: The boards fine, see other review below

Cons: See other review below

Other Thoughts: I don't know about the cd that came with yours but mine gave me the wrong audio/lan drivers for the board. Unless I just imagined having to troubleshoot driver errors until realizing the cd had VIA drivers instead of Realtek.

Pros: good stable board.

Cons: the pinout for the front panel

Other Thoughts: I don't think somebody knows what they are talking about. The included CD has all the right drivers..

4 out of 5 eggsit works

Pros: So far it seems to be a good stable motherboard..except for...see cons

Cons: The front panel pinout is NOT the standard of most mobo's.

Other Thoughts: If your case has all separate connectors for power switch, LED's etc. you are all good. However if it has the "standard" single connector, be prepared to do some surgery on your front panel connector.

2 out of 5 eggscheap

Pros: it works for the most part.

Cons: doesnt detect any fsb 333 cpu's even though there listed in the cpu support list. have had all kinds of issues with this board. i have 8 gigs of g skill in it but its pretty slow. yes i know its a 775 board and im running a e8400 at stock speeds but still.

Other Thoughts: i think im done buying cheap boards for the kids computers

4 out of 5 eggsInexpensive, good OCer

Pros: -Good price considering everything you get in it!
-Good number of overclock options
-FSB spd and voltage
-Ram speed (auto synced or locked in at 800mhz)
-DRAM timings, has almost all of them too, isn't the light version.
-Voltages, most of them
-PWM control, auto, manual, or disabled
the list goes on but I figured I'd put them in here so people know what it is they are looking at, not a lot of info on the net about these boards.

Cons: -PCIE refuses to OC, could my vid card restricting that though, can't even get a single digit bump out of it.
-Bit cramped, but then again it is a mATX board
-middle PCI slot completely inaccessible with a double decker vid card in the PCIE slot right above it, half an inch lower and it would have been accessible.
-Manuals! I know what kind of guy am I needing a manual? But it could really use a bios manual, you can download one off the biostar website but it reads like it's poorly translated and gives you very little info, that and getting a manual off the internet while your computers doing the no-boot dance is difficult.

Other Thoughts: Just an FYI if you want to overclock your proc make sure you take PCIE off auto and leave it at the stock setting, I was getting no-boots forever and a day for bumping the FSB by 1 point until I unlinked them (took auto off)

5 out of 5 eggsSolid...after you get it working

Pros: Very extensive bios, ddr3, Very high overclocking capabilities especially with 800 fsb processors. Extremely easy to update bios through a utility from the biostar website. Good ram compatiblility

Cons: Dont use the cd, get it from the biostar website. The cd gives you VIA drivers when this motherboard has a Realtek lan/audio chipset. Looks small even in a micro atx case(doesnt use up the whole backplate). Compatibility issues with older 775 processors and newer video cards. Days of trouble shooting with random windows crashes/hang-ups came to using a pentium d 820 which worked fine on a different 775 mb. Swapped it out with an e3400 and all problems disappeared. Dont get this expecting it to work flawlessly with older processors. Also, it did not want to work with a graphics card even with onboard video disabled, windows would freeze on startup. Safe mode fixed the issue and now it plays games flawlessly.

Other Thoughts: This is for an extreme budget build with spare parts laying around. Overclocked a wolfdale e3400 from 2.6ghz to 3.77ghz right off the bat on stock volts with minimal heat. After all of the issues, this board still deserves a 5/5 because it definitively was a good learning experience.

5 out of 5 eggsvery nice

Pros: Cheap motherboard..But a very decent little board.I would certainly buy this board again if i needed one.It overclocks very well.Handles 8 gig of ram and is built pretty sturdily.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I built a budget gaming pc with this motherboard.I slapped a e6700 3.2 dual core on here and so far i have overclocked it to 3.8..Not bad for a 300.00 pc.Purchased entirely from newegg of course.
If you aren't sure but looking at this motherboard..go ahead it will do the job nicely.

5 out of 5 eggsDon't let the price fool you

Pros: Amazing value! Price/performance ratio is very high. I was able to maintain a 3.5 GHz overclock on my E5200 with a 10% overvolt. Overclocked DDR3 passed memtest86+ v4.20 and OCCT 1 hour stress test for a stable overclock. Has the typical bells and whistles of a modern mobo

Cons: none i can think of, really

Other Thoughts: Newegg delivered in ONE day. living 30 minutes way from their baldwin park warehouse sure has its advantages! system specs:

Pentium E5200 (Wolfdale) @ 3.5 GHz
4GB (2x2GB) OCZ Gold DDR3 800
Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 1GB
WD Caviar Green 7200RPM 750GB
Apevia X-Qboii mATX case w/ 500W PSU
