DFI has long had a notable reputation within the overclocking community and their DK 790FXB-M2RSH motherboard continues the trend. Based on AMD's 790FX and SB750 chipsets, it is ready to host the latest AM2+ Phenom quad-core processors along with other Phenom and Athlon single- and multi-core CPUs using the AM2 or AM2+ socket type.
Up to 8GB of DDR2 1066 can be installed with dual channel and Hyper Transport 3.0 technology providing increased performance. AMD OverDrive offers further increases in performance tuning using Advanced Clock Calibration.
