1 out of 5 eggsAbsolutely Nightmarish

Pros: Ordered this motherboard for a modest minecraft gaming machine for my sister and received this motherboard dead. Twice. No pros. Try harder Newegg.

Cons: I'm sure it is a nice motherboard if they were to ship actually working motherboards.

Other Thoughts: It sounds nice and i know how badly you want it to work, but seriously. Buy. A. Different. Board.

5 out of 5 eggssolid board

Pros: Bought this board as an open box,but there are no issues with the board and was in new condition. Paired it with AMD A10-5800K Trinity 3.8GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) overclocked to a solid 4.3Ghz with G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) over clocked to 2400Mhz 11-13-13-32-2 timing. Added a custom built copper pipe water cooling set up. Cooling the APU,north bridge and VRM modules stuffed into Rosewill R363-M-BK Black Ultra High Gloss Finished MicroATX Computer Case with 400W ATX 2.2 12V Power Supply with a dual 120mm radiator and small fishtank water pump. The APU never goes above 40°c.Can run skyrim and fallout NV on ultra with no stutters and many other games on max settings.Very impressive for cost to power. I've been running this rig for about 6 months now and never any issues.I would highly recommend the build i noted in this review.

Cons: The only con i can complain about is there is no stand off holes near the VRM to mount a cooling plate too.

Other Thoughts: When i was collecting the components for this build my intention was not to build a gaming rig it was more for every day use. In the end with water cooling and OC'ed memory this rig turned into a beast. On a side note memory speed is everything to this build. With 1866 memory this rig couldn't play skyrim on medium settings. Just a heads up if your building a APU rig ;).

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent AAA

Pros: First graphic ever and what a difference. Make sure to purchase the HDMI cable. What a different in the graphics. Extremely sharp. Very satisfied.

Cons: Box to sexy. I have kids and I really hate this exploitation of sexism and pornigraphy.

Other Thoughts: Beside the advertising its a great product.

1 out of 5 eggs:(

Pros: Good features especially for price.

Cons: I don't even know where to begin this is my first build and this board is paired with an A10 5800k....the only thing is I've had not just one but TWO have had bad BIOS chips. What that means is it'll post and give me the ASUS splash screen saying press delete to enter BIOS but it won't enter the BIOS because it's either broken or it isn't even there. I bought this at a local store so thankfully I can drive down today and get a replacement board but I had to wait 5 days for them to get in stock so needless to day I'm going to ask them if they can test my replacement board and give me one that works before I have to drive down there again. I don't know if this is a production line problem and there are many boards like this and I just happened to get the bad batch but I'm really annoyed as I have spent almost 2 weeks trying to get my build up and running. It'll post and know I'm pressing delete because it'll go to the American Megatrends splash screen much faster than if I don't. The reason I need to get into my BIOS is so I can set my boot priority so I can load windows since it isn't doing it automatically which is what makes me think there are a bad batch of these boards out there that didn't receive BIOS chips.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

Sorry to hear that you are having issues trying to load windows. Did you already try updating the bios to the most current to make sure the CPU is compatible?

Have you already tried clearing CMOS as well as checking the CMOS battery to see if it's still good?

If you have any questions or comments you can email me at cl-jeffrey@asus.com

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cost, pretty bios, plenty of fan connectors, decent manual that diagrams all the little jumpers/headers correctly.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Bought 2 Combo deals to build systems for my wife to Netflix/Facebook and my daughter to Netflix/Facebook and play older steam games.
AMD A8 5600K trinity
4GB Corsair DDR3 1333
Runs TeamFortress2 1920*1080@40-60fps, AA off, bilinear filtering, model texture high, lighting/shading low/med, would expect similar performance for other source engine games.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointing

Pros: Would've had something to say if the board didnt arrive DOA

Cons: Arrived DOA

Other Thoughts: Received the MB for a new system build. Hooked everything up and powered the computer on and..... no video, POST, nothing. Still pretty bummed about this as I was going to use this new build as a media center in my living room.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

Sorry to hear that your unit was DOA out of the box. I hope that the replacement unit that newegg sends you works properly so you can review our motherboard with positive praise.

If you have any questions or comments you can email me again at cl-jeffrey@asus.com which I reside in the U.S

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Mostly intuitive, easy to use, easy to install. Pretty straight forward and a nice bang for my buck for entry level product. Nothing fancy or wow'ing about it but if you don't need to build an insane rig or don't have plans for it, this is perfect.

Cons: Definitely wished it had USB 3.0 at the least, though SATA 3.0 would be nice too. Instruction manual wasn't completely clear either but I figured out what I was doing.

Other Thoughts: Overall not bad. The GPU slot took a little figuring out since the instruction manual didn't clarify that, but otherwise, everything has been good. The UEFI BIOS is a nice touch I'm not used to but I will get used to it. It does everything I need/want it to do so I'm a happy customer. I would have given it 4.5 eggs/stars if I could. The USB 3.0 is a draw back for me.
