5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This is a good board if you want something less expensive with mutliple PCI-E 16x slots for GPUS. I use this with 2 ATI 5770s to do GPU calculations for things like folding@home and it works great. Really easy to get everything set up and it works like a charm. I haven't rebooted for over 4 moths with both GPUs at full utilization and there is no sign of it stopping.

Cons: Looks like its discontinued.

Other Thoughts: Great inexpensive AMD board, if you need two PCI-E 16x slots and need to save money this is a good choice.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Motherboard

Pros: Great motherboard with no errors or issues for me. Fast shipping also.

Purchased August 2012.

Cons: Bios had a horrible design.

Other Thoughts: I bought this motherboard about 4 months ago and I honestly loved it. This was my first brand new computer build and it was paired with a A6-3650 Quad/4GB Ram/Windows 7. Excellent PC but sadly I had to sell it :(

Would recommend 10/10

5 out of 5 eggsworks great

Pros: Boots fast and efficient. Asus offers great products and services that are with this product. Everything works out of the box.

Cons: Windows Server 2008 doesn't like the ASUS cd. I managed to use the compatibility mode which allowed it to install the drivers.

4 out of 5 eggsAbout Support

Pros: Good MOther Board

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Is this motherboard support ASUS HD 7750 graphics card cause that graphics card has PCIe 3.0 and mother board has PCIe 2.0x16 [x2] so did that support that graphics card..?

5 out of 5 eggsGood starter board

Pros: Good little board with some higher-end features built into the bios.

Cons: Doesn't have a lot of room for upgrades, but I built a small single-purpose machine with it so that's fine.

Other Thoughts: There's definitely other boards with more room for RAM and expansion slots, but if you don't need a lot this'll do very well for you.

4 out of 5 eggsnot verified owner, but i purchased it from a different company

Pros: this mobo is great for non gaming pc s as it uses apus. honestly dont get it if you're planning on gaming with it. its good as it has 6 sata2

it's tiny!

lots of onboard usb

Cons: waste of back panel connections. a COM and LPT port that couldve been replaced with HDMI or DVI...

not enough fan headers.

It didnt include the q connector!! ive always purchased asus boards but it didnt include the q connector which made front panel connections a pain! i know they didnt include it in the product description... but cmon, you guys are asus!

Other Thoughts: *I AM NOT A VERIFIED OWNER, BUT I DO OWN THE PRODUCT.*

1 out of 5 eggsWhat has happened to ASUS quality

Pros: none

Cons: Doesn't work! What happened to ASUS quality?

Other Thoughts: Out of the bot the board fired up and seemed fine until I made changes to the bios and restarted. After the restart lost video and the board would no longer post. Pulled the cmos battery and shorted the jumpers. Board fired back up and I did a BIOS update since my board had a very early rom. After flashing the board and restarting no video and board no longer would boot properly. Switched out memory, disconnected almost everything.. no go. Pulled the cmos battery out.. shorted the pins and let it set for 30 mins. Fired up.. worked fine and started installing windows. Windows needed a reboot to finish installing.. on reboot.. no video. Right back to the issue from the start. Board will not post and no video. No error beeps. Sometimes I could get a boot screen but no matter how many times or when I could not get the board to boot into the bios. I have returned ASUS boards in the past only to get them back doing exactly what I sent them off for.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

We apologize for the issue you had with the motherboard.

Please try to clear CMOS one more time, enter UEFI, load defaults--F5, verify that if you are using A-series APU to set NB Configuration > Primary Video Device > set to iGFX Video, Integrated Graphics > set to Force. This should set the motherboard to always use onboard graphics.

If you are still having trouble with the motherboard, please contact me at cl-benson@asus.com reference #C1037-4052.

3 out of 5 eggsASUS MoBo

Pros: Cost

Cons: I don't care for the UEFI BIOS no DVI output. the UEFI bios slows the boot time somewhat also.

Other Thoughts: It's my fault but I didn't realize this MoBo does not have a DVI output. The UEFI BIOS is not my cup of tea either. It gives a (input not supported) during boot and the mfg customer service don't offer a fix for it.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

We apologize for the issue you had with the motherboard.

UEFI is designed to be easy to use yet powerful at the same time. It should not boot slower than legacy BIOS. Please try disabling some ports or features such as unused SATA ports or unplug external drivers from the USB ports. Regarding the "input not supported" message at boot, are any of your devices (mouse, keyboard) become not functional when it appears or anything not working as it should when it is shown on the screen? To continue support regarding this issue, please contact me at cl-benson@asus.com reference #C1037-3975.

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME BOARD SHOULD COST MORE!!!

Pros: This board is awesome for gaming. It has a pci express 2.0 slot perfect for a dedicated card! The board allows you to upgrade to the A8 and the e2 which i don't think the e2 is out yet but cant wait to get my hands on but in all aspect to what i was trying to say is that it's upgrading ability's is awesome for someone that is looking into buying low cost and looking to upgrade in the future! The overall design is very nice with the blue and black and to top it all off it was made by Asus which made me but the board Asus is awesome had the board for a while and no probs at all. The only con is that its hard to find 2x16gb ram sticks to plug in this baby but its fine i don't think i would need that much anyways running 4gb 1333 2x2 in there now gonna upgrade to 16gb 2x8!

Cons: hard to find 2x16 for the 32 gbs it allows up to

Other Thoughts: JUST AWESOME

4 out of 5 eggsBudget Board

Pros: Worked, 1st motherboard, ASUS, got mine on sale.

Cons: The rear plate thing on this sucks soooo bad.
I swear it's made out of recycled tin cans or something.
I could probably bend it in half...
Also should be set up with a DVI port (atleast)

Other Thoughts: Not a bad board, works fine so far.
