5 out of 5 eggsThey work

Pros: Ordered/received 3 of these, they all work and match the description perfectly.

Cons: None really.

Other Thoughts: Just what you need for putting case fans far from their power source. I used these to extend my side panel fans to make removing the side panel less annoying.

4 out of 5 eggsSimple solution for short fan cables

Pros: The length (12") is enough to ensure that it will work for any system out there.
Both the male and the female plugs on it are constructed exactly the same as with the fan and motherboard plugs.

Cons: The only beef at all (minor at that) is that the cable doesn't have the clear tubing around the wires shown in Newegg's photo of it, but that in no way diminishes its effectiveness.

Other Thoughts: There's really not much else to say about something so basic, but that this got my hard drive cooling fan at the front of my case running again, plus it pushes air from the front across the board and CPU, then out the back of the case, just as my CoolerMaster case was designed to do.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks but is very fragile

Pros: Provides extra length for fan cable to reach plug-in point on motherboard.

Cons: Small wires soldered onto tiny pins means there's not much strength in the connection. A light tug is all that's necessary to break one of the soldered connections. Was able to solder it back on, but be warned it's a bit delicate!

Other Thoughts: Case fans don't come with long cables. If you install a fan on the side panel of your computer case then the wire isn't long enough to reach the motherboard when the side panel is removed. Soooo, you need an extension. This one works - just be careful.

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't work

Pros: None. Didn't work

Cons: You'd think something like this would work. Yet it didn't. Tossed in the can and bought another at my local MC. That one, from another brand, worked. Whew.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a cable.

Pros: It works. You'd think that would be a given, seeing as how it's a cable, but I've had bad cables before.

It serves its purpose of extending fan cables.

Cons: None.
