Stylish Aluminum Fan Controller The included aluminum fan controller enables convenient fan speed adjustment to fit any given application with its outstanding aesthetic design to show your exclusive style.
Pros: Adjustable speed a plus to keep noise down when idling, or full speed when gaming.
Cons: Front knob panel does not sit flush with the front of my case (Ultra Aluminus).
Other Thoughts: Doesn't really match the color of my case (white on dk blue), but some might like that.

Rating: 5/5Awesome set of fans
Pros: Its very fast, keeps your cpu or case cool for me its cpu coupled with a coolmaster Gemini II which is a huge heatsink which 2 of these fans sit on.
Cons: Places to put the Variable controllers in my Thermaltake Circle Case.
Other Thoughts: ive had a pair of these fans since 11/6/2007 and they have been great, But now one of them is having problems regardless of the variable controller on it or off it, it will change speeds on its own suddenly. The other ones still moving strong =)

Rating: 5/5Solid fans
Pros: Variable speed, cannot hear at lowest setting, provides cable for displaying fan speed on a monitoring device, can move a ton of air on high.
Cons: Can be too noisy on highest speed. Strange noise harmonics when sucking through vent holes or louvers.
Other Thoughts: Got two, one in front, one in back. My case had two floppys slots that I don't use, so it was perfect to have both controllers up front. No LEDs, if anyone cares.

Rating: 3/5Motor is getting loud
Pros: Moves more than enough air at medium speeds
Cons: The motor assembly used to be perfectly silent until a couple months after purchase, and now it is becoming annoyingly loud. First the bearings started occasionally squeaking, and it still does but now the motor assembly is making a straight-cut gear type groaning noise that can not be masked by any amount of wind noise generated by increasing the rpm.
Other Thoughts: One of the reasons why I bought this fan is because it's 2 ball bearing... From previous experience I thought this was the way to ensure quiet operation and longevity. Another reason was because of the reputation Silverstone appeares to have. Unfortunately I had to disconnect this fan altogether in order to maintain sanity while attempting to fall asleep.

Rating: 4/5Good Fan
Pros: -Pushes a lot of Air -Fan Controller -Nice white color -Silverstone
Cons: The Fan Controller fits in a 3.5" bay, however, it is not long enough to fit the screw holes in my case (and as I've read, most cases are like mine). Silverstone sells another product (SDP07) which is made to extend the length so that it will fit inside of your case, but you will be shelling out another $7 to buy it. Somewhat annoying marketing technique, but the quality of the fan is good.
Other Thoughts: Buy this fan if you need some great additional airflow added to your case, and would like to be able to control when the fan spins at full speed.

Pros: Fan controllers are awesome. Has two "loudness" levels, one is quite loud for gaming, and the other is quite quiet for idling or anything besides gaming. The fan controller wire is sufficient in length! This fan really helped in cooling my case down from my two 4850's.
Cons: I need more, but my fan slots are too small. :/
Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a 120 mm fan, BUY ME.

Rating: 1/5Both failed within 1yr
Pros: Pretty quiet, came with adjustable option
Cons: Both of them had bearing noise within the year.
Would not buy again.
Other Thoughts: Friend is using one of them now only running on low since anything higher creates bearing clicking. I bought one of their fancy HTPC cases and thought their fans would be of the same level in quality but nope. Junk.

Rating: 5/5Running strong 3+ years and counting
Pros: I Purchased 2 of these on 8/5/2006 and have been running one in my home server and one in my desktop almost non stop ever since and they show no sign of slowing down. I can say with certainty that the one in my home server has been running pretty much 24/7/356.
Cons: You can turn them down to be quiet but they're loud when cranked up to max - and I think they default to max power if you don't hookup the speed dial controller.
Other Thoughts: The price hasn't gone down since I bought them 3 years ago.
Now that I'm in the market for fans for a new case I might end up getting some of these again. I remember compared a lot of CFM vs Noise levels and these has a pretty good air movement to volume level ratio.
