Cons: Second unit just failed. Pure garbage. That's 2 units since January, save your money get something else.q

Pros: Reliable so far... kind of.

Cons: I was intending this to be used with my gaming PC but it can't handle the amps of really powerful fans, I made the mistake of connecting it to my 252CFM fan (molex powered) and toasted controller #1. Turns out it's only rated for 6W per channel which is not nearly enough for that fan. Also, most of my fans are 4 pin so I had to cut the connectors on the unit to plug them in.

Other Thoughts: Use the power adapter if you don't want to fry the thing, powering with the molex adapter can supply more power but I now have just 3 working channels because of that.

Pros: None

Cons: Dead in 2 months. Junk!!!!!!!!!

Pros: Cool unit offering all needed.

Cons: Fan controller #1 was DOA. But the other 3 controllers work fine.

Other Thoughts: The package was not very protective on this product. Kind of cheesy. Almost looked as if this was an RMA unit.

Pros: Love the Fan Controller And I use this w/ 3 120mm fan In the CM NotePal U3

Cons: 1 of the Led Lights Died in 2 weeks then 5 months later the Adapter died...

Pros: Controlls fans quite precisely. Cable length is good. You can use it as an AC fan controller or a DC fan controller

Cons: The price jumped $5 since 11/07...

Other Thoughts: I am using this controller to cool my home entertainment center. I have the controller plugged into my Receiver. The receiver turns on and so do the fans. I have 2 ENERMAX UC-12EB 120mm Case Fans (Item#:N82E16811999099) attached to it and they are turned down very low. They are mounted at the top back of each side of my enclosed TV stand behind my Receiver and my HDTivo and HD cable box. The surface of the TV stand use to be hot to the touch after an hour..this keeps the compartments cool, very quietly!

Pros: Worked fine when it is good

Cons: Died after several weeks use. :(

Pros: That is the stuff I want. Used to cool my tablet on a dock.

Cons: I HATE the blue LED. Can not turn off the fan.

Other Thoughts: I really hate the blue LED but it is almost everywhere, bluetooth dongle, SAMSUNG LCD and this fan controller. Will try to MOD it into some green and orange ones. Another thing is I hope the manufacturer can add a switch to turn off this one and even allow all the four controller to be switched off seperately. I will give 5 eggz if I can switch it off or get rid of the dammmmnnnn blue LED

Pros: External power supply; can be used without computer.

Cons: Hard to use in a computer bay.

Other Thoughts: This product screams 'not worth the money'. I bought it thinking it would mount in an external drive bay. Not a chance; it's definitely not designed for that. Beyond that, the construction looks and feels cheap. Given the manufacturer's reputation on other forums I should have guessed it. I will never buy a SilenX product again.

Pros: Its a external fan controller that makes use of a wall outlet power supply.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Great for having when you want to prime your water cooling setup or test a fan.
