1 out of 5 eggsPower Supply DOA

Pros: Looks great, easy to work in

Cons: Power supply dead on arrival

Other Thoughts: Will update this once I get it operational

4 out of 5 eggsDecent case, especially for the money

Pros: I bought this case as part of my home server build. Its got a nice look, several vents for cooling and a nice little lcd display

Cons: For some reason it is not properly registering the temperature correctly and every 15 minutes or so gives me the 'high temp' series of beeps. I've even tried moving the sensor to the outside of the case and it still registers as too hot.

1 out of 5 eggsUpdate to negative review I entered.

Pros: This is an update to my last review. Support replied to my email and sent a new control panel immediately. I did not have to jump through RMA hoops or send in the defective one. This is rare and I appreciate. Unfortunate the Q.C. line is not up to par but, the support was quite good. I would appreciate a phone number on the Sentey web site instead of email tag. Not placing a phone number on the web site is curious.

Cons: Don't wish to re-hash.

Other Thoughts: Sentey production manager needs to focus on Q.C. and burn in.

5 out of 5 eggs9 month Update

Pros: Please see my first post as that contains a good deal of useful information including advanced LCD button functions. This is an update to highlight excellent customer support.

Additional Positive: Customer Support. New LCD & Fan sent as failure replacement (no fee).

Cons: Case is apt to run a little warm. I fashioned an additional 60mm fan at bottom front and may add a couple of 40mm fans to the rear.

It's also noteworthy that temp sensor placement is important. Stuff the sensor under the processor cooler heatsink and you will see much higher temps than almost anywhere else.

Other Thoughts: It should be noted that this is not an expensive case for Sentey to replace the LCD display/fan controller and associated Fan at their expense and without much hoop jumping speaks well for the company.

1 out of 5 eggsdo not purchase this case

Pros: pretty looking?

Cons: bought off the shelf localy at a micro store, took home and assembled to find out it was DOA. I exchanged it to have another one fail on me after 3-4 months of MINIMAL use. The power supply is garbage. So, if you happen to not use theirs, you might get to enjoy how pretty it is.

Other Thoughts: I really wish I would have purchased mine on Newegg to see the other comments posted by real people like me who take time to read/write reviews. I would have steered clear of this item. I'm pretty sure now I'm up a creek getting anything from them.

Also, please read this from Sentey's website:

The parts are assumed to be in perfect conditions before the assembly. Once the package is opened and the case is assembled, the warranty expires without exception

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY!!!

Pros: Ships in a box.

Cons: Arrived DOA. Dead power supply. The Intel motherboard I bought requires 9 posts, this one only comes with 6. Drives barely fit inside and rested on the power cable for the motherboard (Intel). Instructions are terrible.

Avoid this product!!!

Other Thoughts: I RMA'd this ($24 in return shipping) and now I need to order another case. This is the first time in a long time that I've received a product DOA, and it's the last time I'll buy anything under this brand name.

3 out of 5 eggsnot too bad

Pros: Nice looking case, strong steel construction inside and out, good glossy paint laid on thick, quality plastic facia components. Front panel display shows HDD activity and internal case temperature. Case fan operates when case temp is at or above adjustable preset temp. When temp is below preset, display has blue backlight. When it's above, backlight is red.

Cons: CAUTION!!! NOT FOR GAMING!!!!
NOT TO BE USED WITH CPU'S ABOVE 65 WATTS (the lower the better). Case fan is weak and sometimes display freezes, causing fan to not work. Case and CPU temps can rise very quickly when CPU is under load, since the case is small. With 4 core AMD+3 4 core 95 watt CPU and case fan set to operate at 35C, internal case temp would be around 45C, with CPU temp around 50C. But when display would freeze, MC temp would be around 65C and CPU temp would be 75C!!! That's hot!!!

Other Thoughts: Strange design concept:
Looks like it should lay flat, making DVD horizontal. But display orientation would be outta whack. It's meant to be on its side, making display easy to read, but DVD is vertical, making it harder to use.
Nice looking case, but a real strange ranger!
