Xion made the Solaris XON-403 case with all the options included, all the requirements exceeded, and the price a knockout. The designers went big for maximum air flow with two 80mm silent fans inside the case. Not content with that though, a 140mm blue LED fan was mounted on the side panel window to breathe relief directly onto the motherboard.

Unique XION LED lamination in front panel makes this case really cool and mystic. With the spacious four 5.25" and one 3.5" drive bays, all are protected with style behind their door. Inside is just as impressive with a massive five bays for the internal hard drives.

  • newegg Unique LED Lamination The Xion Solaris XON-403 looks cool and mystic with its unique XION LED lamination in front panel.

4 out of 5 eggsGreen is great and bright.

Pros: Case had all the slots and mounting spots I needed and a lot more then i'll ever need.

Cons: The front USB ports and headphone and mic ports don't really work. Plus the USB plugs are split into 2 4 hole plugs plus a single 1 hole.

Other Thoughts: Nice and bright, and has enough space to install all the computer components. My side fan was installed for intake, and my air conditioner blows right into it. So my system is kept really cool.

3 out of 5 eggsEh, it's a cheap case...

Pros: cheap
looks decent.
comes with a LED side fan and matching lights in the front.
can use the false fronts for the cdrom or chose to remove them entirely.

Cons: feels somewhat flimsy
no motherboard slide out tray
uses screws instead of latches.

Other Thoughts: decent cheap case, but don't expect much else from it.

5 out of 5 eggsXION Solaris

Pros: Built solid, no sharp edges, everything works. Fans seems to be solid. Pretty nice case when you really get down to it.

Cons: Would've liked to see the 3rd fan but no big deal. Holes for mounting the power supply were abit off but we got it taken care of. Overall nothing really worth docking an egg for.

Other Thoughts: I almost bought this case twice. Once for myself 2 years ago, and once for my brothers PC a year ago. Well, finally I built my buddy a PC and he saw this case and wanted it. It was neat to finally check out the case 2 of us nearly bought but didn't because some of the reviews were scary. I totally wish I would've bought it. It's really a nice solid case.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case for the buy!

Pros: Easy to set up, comes with plenty of accesories. Lightweight, nice design. Has plenty of bays to satisfy my needs. Worled great for my first build ever!!!

Cons: Front USB ports seem to be upside down. All my flash drives face the ground when I put them in. Probably something I can fix, just not worried about it. Hard drive bays on the bottom make it a little hard to put fan in. But again, nothing to cause a loss of an egg.

Other Thoughts: Not really, it's a good case.

2 out of 5 eggsSad piece of equipment

Pros: Cheap
Clear side panel

Cons: Cheap
Useless USB ports
Narrow case
Bends easily

Other Thoughts: To be honest, it's a decent case for a rough first build. Just have your internal components mapped out to the letter. Very shaky and cheap materials. Case bent with minimal pressure to joints. I installed a cooler master 212 and it instantly turned this case into a convertible model. If you install a huge heatsink, use a wider case. This one went in the trash for a wider, sturdier Antec model.

5 out of 5 eggsEverything I Expected

Pros: This case was easy to work with and leaves me with a lot more uprade and expansion options than I had before.

Cons: Wish the LEDs were brighter and that there were more of them. Had to remove the cover over the slot for my cd/dvd drive because the mounting holes didnt line up properly to allow me to use it.

Other Thoughts: I am already creating a wish list of LED accessories to enhance the light

4 out of 5 eggsNot to bad

Pros: Its very sleek looking, takes up much less room than my other case. The green adds a nice effect too. The fans get the job done and have kept the internals at an lower temperature than my older case was. Fit everything in perfect, It also has very nice cable management space in the side. The CD slot cover's work great. Overall a very good case for the price.

Cons: The Led's are not as bright as some people said, which is no biggy
Also the front USB plug in's were upside down. Installing the CD drive was also kind of difficult but was worth it in the long run

5 out of 5 eggsGood Case

Pros: Didn't cost much, lightweight, and has withstood the test of having two very small children attacking it, as well as three moves, without a single battle scar. I have had two boards in this case so far, and I can easily fit the newer style larger video cards in it. Green lights are bright and can just about illuminate my entire room at night. I have purchased four of these so far, one with a power supply the other three were this one without the power supply. Has lots of room for ventilation and installing extra fans.

Cons: Haven't really had any cons at all with this case, like I said, I have had a few, and have had no complaints about it.

Other Thoughts: Woulda been nice to have a switch on the front of the case somewhere to turn off the lights in front, other than that, it's all in all a good sturdy case. My case I still have and just put a new board in, the other cases, well they went to friends, and the ex-wife's computer...

2 out of 5 eggsNot Worth It.... Trust Me

Pros: Its light weight design makes it an okay case and its really low price also makes you think your getting a good deal, but if your serous about your conp you will spend a little more and get a good case... trust me dont waste your money on this

Cons: its flimsy, misproportioned, and it loves to bend, ive made a career out of assembling and programing computers for quite some time now and i have never had to work with a cheeper case

Other Thoughts: run away!!!!
