5 out of 5 eggsNew Micro ATX standard

Pros: Cheap, build quality, so easy even a caveman could do it.

Cons: No 8 pin CPU connector on the power supply, but the low price of the case meant that buying one wasn't a problem. Didn't see a need to remove any stars but it's good to know this before buying.

Other Thoughts: This is my new standard for ATX builds. Usually a cheap case means slicing your hands a few times on the sharp edges, there were none inside this case. UPS delivered at about 10am and buy 12pm I had Windows Installed.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value

Pros: Solid
Comes with PSU
Attractive
Quiet
Quick release drive bay

Cons: Only 2 SATA plugs

Other Thoughts: I was immediately impressed by the weight and quality of build on this case. It seems very solid. Much heavier than the mid-towers that my work uses for their builds. The case is much more attractive (IMHO) than the photo implies. The front panel is glossy with a raised diamond pattern.

Inside, I had no problems getting everything in and the edges were not lethal. Quick release 3.5" drive tray made install a breeze for my drives. Fit for all components was good with ample room for cable management. My cards are all low-profile, though so YMMV. The PSU only comes with 2 sata leads and I have 3 SATA drives so I got a molex to SATA adapter which solved the problem.

When I first fired it up I couldn't tell if it was on until I felt the fans moving air. Both the PSU and case fans (and my proc fan) are like 99% silent, at least at bootup. Very excited for that, as the PC it's replacing sounds like a wind tunnel. We'll see if they get loud under load.

4 out of 5 eggsJust Assembled My Computer

Pros: Good solid construction.
Very good paint job. Does not scratch easily.
Easy to add motherboard, power and disc drives.

Cons: Have to read instructions to remove hard drive bay cage but then removal and return to position is easy.
Had to plug in ATX power to motherboard before inserting motherboard.
No USB 3.0 on front panel.

Other Thoughts: Just previously I bought a similar sized case for twice as much, but it's black paint scratches easily and though slightly bigger case there were many tight fits. This case much easier to use.

5 out of 5 eggsGood budget build

Pros: Everything that it needs to do is done. I used this for a HTPC; you can hear the fan only if there is nothing playing.

Cons: Can't knock an egg but the only drawbacks I can note are the USB ports in the front are 'upside down' in the sense that the seam on flash drives us up and the USB logo faces down when plugging them in. Can't flip the little board because the screws holding it are asymmetrical. And this is not a case you want to be taking the side panel off a lot because the thumbscrews use only the thin case steel and could be stripped if not careful.

Other Thoughts: AMD A6-3500 Llano 2.1GHz (2.4GHz Max Turbo) Socket FM1 65W Triple-Core in a ASUS F1A75-M PRO FM1 AMD A75 micro ATX board. No video card, works fine for light gaming and movies.

3 out of 5 eggsSufficient For Business Applications

Pros: Great value and simple to navigate. This case is very basic which is perfeft for the business application I used it for. The client wanted something simple that wasn't very flashy. Accomodated MATX and ITX very well and had good connectivity for the front panel IO. Has two drive bays which can be optimal for certain business applications. The construction was fairly solid and the metal was of decent quality. Layout was very good for the small build. The removable HDD sled was useful for installing the HDDs

Cons: PSU while sufficient power wise only provides 2 SATA power cables. My client wanted an SSD, HDD and ODD. Fortunately the HDD came with a Molex to SATA power adapter. The toolless is anything but, you still have to screw a provided bolt into the side of the Drive before sliding it in and locking it in place. The access to the back side doesnt exist which is frustrating because the toolless does leave a little play in the ODD which makes my work look sloppy. As is with most cases like this, there is no cable management which isnt a huge issue considering the lack of a window.

Other Thoughts: Overall for this application the case was perfect, there isn't much in the way of a user manual so figuring out some of the quirks is a little annoying. It is very plain which was my first need.

5 out of 5 eggsHappy Medium

Pros: Standard width & depth, not too tall. Easy install and everything works as it should.

I installed a cheap Antec 350 power supply and keep the original as a spare.

APEX TM-524 Black Metal / ABS Micro ATX Tower Computer Case
ASRock Z77 Pro4-M LGA 1155 Intel Micro ATX Motherboard
Intel Core i5-3550 Ivy Bridge 3.3GHz
SanDisk Extreme 2.5" 120GB SATA III SSD SDSSDX-120G-G25
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL
ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner
Linux (LMDE with Liquorix kernel)

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: The only issue I had was needing a washer to back the screw holding the DVD drive -- the slit along the rail is too wide for standard screw heads and the drive holes did not line up.

Pros: Nice looking case, pretty spacious on the inside. Case fan is a plus.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap and sturdy. Used it for a budget build for my grandma. Everything fit inside. Power supply worked just fine, but swapped it out.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Only one fan and power supply is only 300W, but knew that when I was buying so doesn't qualify as a con.

Definitely recommend it for a budget build.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent mATX case

Pros: Sleek design, very quiet case fan included. I have fan speed set to 3 in my UEFI (about 1500RPM). Sturdy, I was going to use this for a custom built PC to sell, but like it so much I'm keeping it for myself. Very discreet green power led/red hdd led, no annoying bright blue lights here.

Cons: Not really a big fan of the tool-less design for optical drives, currently using external usb drive anyway. Not enough to knock off an egg though

Other Thoughts: Not using the included power supply as my video card needs more juice, but it's an added bonus, most cases at this price won't have a PS included, or a case fan for that matter
