5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Full Tower

Pros: This is the best case I have used. So much room to play with. Excellent for water cooling and air cooling. So many fan placements. I use 13 fans in my build just because I can. It keeps everything quite cool. Cable management is a breeze. Love the disk drive cover to match the white case. Great case by NZXT.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsBeauty on the outside, because my beast is inside.

Pros: This case is completely beautiful. There is a great deal of customization that can be done with it. I like the snap on/off front and top molds, makes tinkering with a cable here and there much easier and faster.

Cons: The only con I have really is that, while the cable management is still great, the side panel is still plastic, so it can be harder to get that panel back on as opposed to a coolermaster HAF X where it is steal and you can force the cables back in with ease, this one I worry will eventually begin to bow out. Other than that, the inside of the case there are areas where the white paint is a little light, they use a good catalyst though because I did a scratch test (nothing severe) and the paint is definitely well adhered to the case.

Other Thoughts: You cannot go wrong with this case, it will make any build look phenomenal. Thumbs up NZXT as this is my first NZXT buy.

4 out of 5 eggsAlmost perfect...but

Pros: - Huge dimensions, can fit any size motherboard/ GPU /and even a 420mm Radiator for liquid cooling

- Fits multiple radiators

- Can mount up to 12 fans to this beast

- sleek, simple sexy design.

- huge amount of cable management space in rear of chassis. provides rubber-ized slits/holes to conceal and loop cables around to various components. vary aesthetically pleasing and provides convenience and assistance to the user. Back of chassis has pre-installed hook-loops to provides easy zip-tie placement aswell. NICE feature!!!

- open back panel of chassis to reveal the awesome addition of a multi-fan adapter card (velcro mounting is quite annoying at times but allows user flexibility of where they want it)

- removable 5.25 bay trays to provide extra space for additional radiators or whatever (i removed one to make room for my water pump)

- 3 removable dust-catching filters (2 on bottom and one in front)

- front I/O comes with (2) usb 3.0 ports, (2) usb 2.0 ports, SD card reader (not multi-card reader) and plug in for a microphone and headphpones. AWESOME!!!

Cons: - front I/O usb 3,0 isn't as fast as most motherboard usb 3.0

- front panel ventilation is poor. NZXT does allow users to mount (2) 120mm or 140mm fans here on the front but there is very little ventilation screens/openings to let cold air in. I will say that they did make an effort though. there is a v-shaped slit on the very bottom-front and the chassis does have honeycomb screen ventilation lanes running along most the sides to give it more airflow.

- 2.5 SSD bay circuit board adapter stopped working after 6 months. I had to remove it and plug a SATA directly to my SSD to get my SSD to post.

- top vent cover is weak-ish plastic. be careful when removing or placing back on chassis. I haven't broken it, but just be careful

- screw holes for ATX motherboard placement and the back I/O panel slot are too high up on the chassis. When I installed my 420mm long /60mm wide radiator to the top of the chassis I have had a terrible time trying to plug in my 8-pin and 4-pin whenever i need to make alterations or changes to my motherboard (ASUS Crosshair V Formula - Z). Additionally, the fans I mounted on the underbelly of the radiator almost graze the top of the PCB as well making the airflow almost non-existent for the VRM northbridge heatsink area of the motherboard.

Other Thoughts: - would have loved to have this case to be about two inches taller to accommodate larger radiators and a 140mm fan near the back I/O panel.

- I hope they come out with something this sleek and sexy again...not a fan of the "white spaceship" look of the 820...looks tacky and only appeals to sci-fi/tech 'super nerds'

3 out of 5 eggsOverall decent case, but you can do better for your money

Pros: So this case is HUGE and HEAVY, but it seems all the other reviews have made that clear. The amount of space in this case is really awesome for enthusiasts who want dual graphics cards and water cooling and whatnot, and promotes great airflow for those without water cooling. The aluminum chassis is very solid and well built, and the dust filters are easily removable for cleaning.

Cons: So my biggest complaint is all the plastic pieces on this tower. They feel very flimsy and super cheap in their construction. Along with that, both me and my friend who own this case had the exact same problems with a couple things.

First off, the power button on this case (made of plastic surprise surprise) became loose within a couple weeks of owning the case. I have to press it down in a certain way otherwise it wont turn on. Secondly, the rear I/O light never functioned and I couldn't figure out why so I gave up after trying for an hour or so. Not a big deal but that was supposed to be a convenient feature.

Also the rear panel is kind of shallow which made it difficult to route all my wires back there.

Other Thoughts: Overall it's not a bad case, but I wouldn't recommend it. Unless you really need this much space, then your money is best spent elsewhere.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello, Valued NZXT Customer

We do appreciate the feedback on our 810 concept case, but in order to achieve the unique curves and shapes of the case it had to be plastic, the case is made of ABS plastic for the top and front panel with the left and right panel being made out of Arylic and steel. If at all you have any issues with any parts of your case breaking or becoming faulty. Please feel free to visit once there you will see a submit request button at the top right. All we would need is an invoice on file as well as the parts needed once we get that request we will be able to proceed with a parts replacement for your case.

Kind regards,
NZXT Support

4 out of 5 eggsGreat construction with few setbacks

Pros: -strong reliable parts for the most part (see cons)
-plenty of room for upgrading. I have 600mm total push/pull radiators (360 top mounted and a 240 front mounted) in mine with no space problems.

Cons: -The plastic window on the only really cheap part of this case in my opinion. It scratched very easily and had a slight tint of haze looking through it. I went to my local Lowes and picked up an acrylic window from their store, cut it to size, and used modders tape to hold it in place. Much more visibility without sacrificing any space on the sinside or any asthetics. A very easy $10 investment that made a word of a difference.
-The cable management compartment is a little narrow.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome.

Pros: Enormous, have 2 X 295x2's and an XL Board with a water cooler (that's 3 coolers including the 295X2's), a 1500W Power supply and 13 total fans, most of which are 140mm and everything fits with room to spare. I have push/pull setups on the fans and sometimes it's 3 fans together!

Cons: Enormous, weighs a lot but that's to be expected with all that I have in it.

Other Thoughts: This is a beautiful Tower if you have the room and can take the weight.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Case is HUGE but you probably already knew that based on it being a full tower case. Comes with an individually sleeved 8 pin CPU power cable extension which is nice because my PSU's would not have reached plus it looks good. Leaves lots of room for expandability. Fit my Gigabyte GTX 970 which is 12" long without needed to remove a drive pay or the fan it has on it. Plus it just looks good which is why I got it over a mid tower. Bigger is better right? It also has a fan hub on the backside of the case, takes 1 molex plug and has output for IIRC 7 fans with 3 pin power connectors.

Cons: The Rear I/O LEDs have gotten dim and are flickering, not a huge problem because I never found them useful. One of the front fans started to make noise then it decided to launch a fan blade one day. Could use more 5.25 bays.

Other Thoughts: The plastics feel kinda flimsy but not enough for me to call a con as I didn't have a problem with them. The removable dust filter for the front 2 fans restricts quite a lot of air but that I believe is my fans problem of not being the best fans. Case isn't the best for an aircooled system in my eyes, but I plan on watercooling this year some time.

2 out of 5 eggsNZXT Switch 810 W/B

Pros: This case has good intentions for both AIR/WC options for all enthusiasts. Cool color Black and White finish looks clean. They came out with the H440 but still needs a lot of work compared to Caselabs or Silverstone. The dust filters are decent but also far from perfect.

Cons: Where to begin....The front intake fan cover does not allow for needed inflow/take into the case which is needed to create positive pressure for airflow in and outflow/take...No fan filter on the top where most dust gets in the case...falling from in the air and landing on the components inside the case...>< this cases succesor is also a joke sorry NZXT your engineers are failing in design and implementing compared to Corsair/Caselabs/Silverstone...the tubing holes are useless since most people use acrylic now in WC. Front panel usb/audion hub is cheap and wires break easily...Finally the backside for wire mangement is a disgrace and many other cases are the same. This was one imporvement on the H440 Which I will give a 3EGG rating.

2 out of 5 eggsSturdy, Roomy, and not very Quiet.

Pros: - Plenty of room to work in.
- Comes with a lot of decent anti-shock technology
- Sturdy construction
- A window, if you like windows
- a convenient light on the back that can be turned on and off easily
- A nice front-mounted bay for USB, SD Cards, and audio jacks.
- Lots of fans

Cons: - Very loud, thanks to all those fans.
- A top vent can be closed to supposedly make it quieter. It doesn't.
- There are weird areas where the outer plastic shell doesn't match up with the edges of the frame, and this makes it look a little cheap.
- The hard drive bays are on the BACK of its frame, so you have to open up both sides of the case to install or remove hard drives. This often means pulling the whole computer out of its position if you had it tucked away. It's not easy given its size.

Other Thoughts: This case is actually quite a bit larger than I would have liked, and yet, that's probably what kept it from getting stolen when my house was broken into. Still, I dread every time I need to open it up to do anything. It's hard to pull out of my desk.

My biggest complaint is how loud it is. For most other cases I've used, it takes them a few years to get as loud as this case was on its first day. It's thanks to its many fans and how exposed they are to the outside of the case.

Mostly, the case does the job just fine and doesn't look too shabby, except for a few areas, namely the top-back, where panels don't quite line up right.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Valued NZXT Customer,

We do apologize for the inconvenience, the case does come with 4 140mm fans for the rear, front, top and interior areas of the case. The fans do give a rating of 26.52 decibel for the FN 140RB which is the stock spec for the 810 Switch. If the fans are causing a grinding noise or whining noise then we would recommend contacting us or visiting our website at Which we will need you to fill out a ticket and supply an invoice for replacement. Another Alternative is a fan controller which can be applied to the equation to adjust the decibel of the fans as well as the speeds. In turn it will lower the noise and also run your system cooler, all replacement parts can be acquired from our website. If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to contact our NZXT Support Team at +1-800-228-9395.

NZXT Support.

5 out of 5 eggswhat a beauty

Pros: white gloss finish
very good quality components(metal/plastics)
very good cable management, lots of tie-off points
hidden wall behind the mobo so most of the the cables are not seen from the clear panel

a very good air flow

That was a really let down for me..not worth to knock out an egg, but still a let donw
