2 out of 5 eggsSturdy, Roomy, and not very Quiet.

Pros: - Plenty of room to work in.
- Comes with a lot of decent anti-shock technology
- Sturdy construction
- A window, if you like windows
- a convenient light on the back that can be turned on and off easily
- A nice front-mounted bay for USB, SD Cards, and audio jacks.
- Lots of fans

Cons: - Very loud, thanks to all those fans.
- A top vent can be closed to supposedly make it quieter. It doesn't.
- There are weird areas where the outer plastic shell doesn't match up with the edges of the frame, and this makes it look a little cheap.
- The hard drive bays are on the BACK of its frame, so you have to open up both sides of the case to install or remove hard drives. This often means pulling the whole computer out of its position if you had it tucked away. It's not easy given its size.

Other Thoughts: This case is actually quite a bit larger than I would have liked, and yet, that's probably what kept it from getting stolen when my house was broken into. Still, I dread every time I need to open it up to do anything. It's hard to pull out of my desk.

My biggest complaint is how loud it is. For most other cases I've used, it takes them a few years to get as loud as this case was on its first day. It's thanks to its many fans and how exposed they are to the outside of the case.

Mostly, the case does the job just fine and doesn't look too shabby, except for a few areas, namely the top-back, where panels don't quite line up right.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Valued NZXT Customer,

We do apologize for the inconvenience, the case does come with 4 140mm fans for the rear, front, top and interior areas of the case. The fans do give a rating of 26.52 decibel for the FN 140RB which is the stock spec for the 810 Switch. If the fans are causing a grinding noise or whining noise then we would recommend contacting us or visiting our website at www.nzxt.com/support. Which we will need you to fill out a ticket and supply an invoice for replacement. Another Alternative is a fan controller which can be applied to the equation to adjust the decibel of the fans as well as the speeds. In turn it will lower the noise and also run your system cooler, all replacement parts can be acquired from our website. If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to contact our NZXT Support Team at +1-800-228-9395.

Regards,
NZXT Support.

3 out of 5 eggsBest Case for the $

Pros: I go to LANs a lot and needed a durable case. Its huge. I have so much space for everything. Cable management is awesome and I love the removable filters. AIR FLOWWW!!!

***Install aftermarket CPU fan before installing the mobo in the case***

Cons: -2 Stars because the power button feels cheap and the DVD bay cover spring somehow went bad on the first day. Oh and the LED in the rear panel doesn't work. Haven't tried to figure out why. The stock fans that come with the case are starting to go bad at 11 months of ownership.

Other Thoughts: CPU - AMD FX-8350 Black @ 4.0 Ghz
GPU - EVGA GTX 770 04G-P4-3776-KR
MOBO - Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
MEM - CORSAIR Vengeance 2 x 8 GB DDR3 1866 Timing: 10-11-10-30 Cas Latency: 10
Power Supply - Corsair HX850 850W
CASE - NZXT SWITCH 810 White
CPU Fan - ZALMAN CNPS9900MAX-B 135mm Long life bearing CPU Cooler Blue LED

4 out of 5 eggsPicked this for its looks, impressed with function

Pros: Fans are really quiet. You need to be in a perfectly silent room to hear them. Good temps. I think the air intake is through the bottom of the case? Way more customization than I needed. Really great looking case, especially if you have innards you want to show off.

Cons: Be careful moving this beast. It is easy to detach something by accident. The front panel comes off, the top panel comes off, the bottom dust tray comes off.

Other Thoughts: The power light is huge and can be annoying in a dark room when the computer is sleeping.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Spacious!
Great air flow and cable management options
Great watercooling support

Cons: A bit heavy

Other Thoughts: This is the best case I have ever bought. Finally, something surpasses my original Antec Lanboy as the best case I have ever bought.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Case

Pros: Great airflow, plenty of room for expansion and upgrades, cable management is perfect, adjustable rear fan 120/140mm

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Went from a Corsair 350D to this case and absolutely love this case. Recommend it to anyone. Some would say the price is a little high, but you get what you pay for.

4 out of 5 eggsPlenty of room

Pros: alot of room on the inside good air flow, their is a light in the rear io where everything plugs in which is nice

Cons: Fans went to heck about 9-10 months i clean my case weekly with an air compressor and i lock the fans in place but they started making this awful grinding noise

also if u are using a amd mobo and are planning on using a stock cpu cooler u have to mount the back befor you put the mobo in the case it will get caught. the back cut out has a notch in it that wont alow you to change it :(

Other Thoughts: Great case

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case! Must Buy!

Pros: Well, This Case is Large,Heavy, and Durable. I like the fact that It is Modular and easy to take pieces off of it such as the top and front Plastic. ( Most other cases tend to be problematic) The Case Offers lots of room For cable management and So forth. I was Completely Able to tie up all the cables and keep them away from sight for the most part through the side window.
The Case Can hold 10 fans I currently am using 9 fans 6 140mm and 3 120mm. It keeps everything inside nice and cool. Id say About a 10c degree drop from my old case which was the "RAIDMAX Seiran" (Terrible case). The Case came with more then Enough Screws for everything but the Fans. I required 2 more Screws for my last fan. If I was able to fit the 10th fan I would need 4 more for in total it lacks 6 fan screws.
I like how this case also lifts my PSU off the bottom by about 1/2 to 1 inch.

Cons: well I I had to RMA this case because when it came to me the Back of the case Was dented in. Well Back top/side panel with window in the Corner. It was Dented in like it was kicked or something and the Box it came in was Shredded to hell. It took another 1 1/2 weeks to get my replacement.

Other then that:
Top vents feels cheap. They are Plastic but it just feels really cheap to me. They are kinda tough to open and close to.

The power Button, Kinda hard to explain so I will just try it and hope its understood.
My power button seemed to of stopped working but getting stuck inside, I took it apart and Found that there is a Black Clip that clips onto the case. Within that clip there are 2 more clips that hold the tiny circuit that the button sits on. One of the 2 clips was not tight enough to hold the button up, So when you pushed it the one side would fall in and act as though the button already broke. I had to take a clear tube that I had thats Slightly Bigger then a Bicycle tire tube Cap and cut that and stuck that in there to hold it up. and now it works perfectly.

Its A large case. I got it On my desk next to me but the desk is a little big and so yeah

Other Thoughts: you will need like a 15 to 20 inch sata cable for a DVD player if you put it on the top of the case. This is IF you're Sata plug inns on you're Motherboard are At the very bottom and not up on the side. Though Still would not hurt to have one about that size.
