The NZXT Hush mid-tower takes quiet seriously! The Hush is lined on the top, bottom, sides, and front, with noise-damping material, reducing the moniscule fan noise to nearly inaudible. Strong airflow is helped by two 120mm fans, in combination with the large front air vent and rear exhaust vent. The front fan is equipped with an LED light, so the vents and cutout design in the front door glow blue. Front corner I/O panel offers convenient ports for USB 2.0 and FireWire, and HD audio ports.

NZXT’s screw-less rail system makes it easier than ever before to securely install up to 4 external 5.25” drives, 2 external 3.5” drives, 5 internal 3.5” drives, and 7 expansion cards. Motherboard tray supports your choice of ATX, m-ATX, Flex ATX, or Mini ATX board. Whether it’s for work of play, you’ll enjoy near-silent operation, and superior heat management with the NZXT Hush mid-tower!

3 out of 5 eggsSexy case

Pros: This was the first case I have bought from NZXT. Loved the design, the paint was beautiful. Felt very sturdy, and great screw less system. Sound suppression on the inside was double edged sword. It worked to make the system quiet but also jacked up the heat inside the case.

Cons: Sound suppression on the inside and the fact that the door covered half of the intake fan made this case run hot on the inside. During long gaming sessions I would start to get reboots ever so often and would need to let the unit cool down.

5 out of 5 eggsAs expected

Pros: -Very quiet!
-Attractive case!
-Low price.

Cons: -Not the best for wire management.
-Sound-deadening foam and lack of additional fan locations gives me the impression that the case could get very warm. I would not recommend if your rig includes components that will produce excessive heat.

Other Thoughts: -Used for a new customer build. Customer was very pleased with the silent operation and great looks.
-As I said, may get warm with SLI/Crossfire/overclocking, however my configuration has stayed nice and cool with an AMD FX-4100 and MSI 7750 OC video card.

3 out of 5 eggsCustomer Service is bad

Pros: I got this back in Feb of 2008. It's a decent case

Cons: Less than 2 months after I got the case the front audio jack started making a strange sound, shortly thereafter it blew. One of the front USB ports also stopped working. NZXT ignored my request to have the case fixed on many ocassions. Today (1/10/2012) - I just Got a HAF 912 and wanted to purchase a replacement I/O module for the case before I handed it down to the wife, lol, they still ignore my attempts to make contact. As a company NZXT has a problem with their customer service skills that probably extends to the purchase of any of their products. You have been warned.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for choosing NZXT. We apologize to hear of your inconvenience and we would like to take your matter in our responsibility. If you can kindly contact our support center at service@nzxt.com or call us at 626.228.1150. We hope to hear back from you very soon.

4 out of 5 eggsWonderful

Pros: Beautiful brushed aluminum asthetics with just enough lighting to make it pop.
Very quiet, my core i7 920 is OC'd to 3.8GHz and I can barley hear it.
Enough room inside to make replacing things a breeze.

Cons: The front USB ports broke (literally the plastic piece inside the port broke on the top port, and the bottom one just ceased to function) after about a year. This is my one and only complaint.

Other Thoughts: After a lot of research, this case is really the perfect case if you're looking for something stylish but not overly decked out with lighting and ridiculous shapes. It provides admirable sound dampening and the lighting isn't enough to keep you up at night.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it

Pros: Owned it for about 9 months now. I keep it on 24 hours a day in our family room and is very quiet. Don't plan on ever replacing it. Looks fantastic. There was plenty of room to work inside and it keeps cool, though I don't have any enourmous graphics card.

Cons: The lights are bright, but since I don't sleep next to it, not an issue. Actually acts as a good night light.

3 out of 5 eggsSound dampening = insulation?

Pros: Very quiet. Sleek looking, I suppose. Goes well with a power supply that has a blue LED fan. But that's just me being geeky and color coordinated.

Cons: I believe that the sound dampening lining may act as an insulation for heat, and so when the temperatures here recently went up to 90 for a few days, my computer would overheat until I took off the side panels.

Also, I'm kind of getting sick of the door. And the fact that the door covers half of a fan. Except for the fact that the door has a light in it, I guess.

Other Thoughts: After almost a year and half or so I think I'm going to probably just going to end up getting a case that's got more fans for circumstances such as these and for better airflow overall.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Looking Case + Quiet

Pros: I bought this case back in 2007, but thought I'd make a review for it after three years of ownership. The case still looks amazing, with no noticeable scratches or dents, but I do take very good care of my things. This is also after having moved three times since purchasing. Runs VERY quiet, using the fans it came with and an Arctic Cooling cooler on my CPU it stays quiet. Only noise comes from my cheap PSU, which I need to change out to go totally silent.

Cons: Temps do run a bit hotter due to the insulation, but if you don't plan on overclocking or just going with a mild overclock like I am it doesn't necessarily cause a problem.

5 out of 5 eggsNZXT HUSH

Pros: Solid, sturdy, large, attractive looking case. Decent fans in front and back. Keeps fairly quiet and looks amazing.

Cons: I couldn't fit more than 2 3.5" drives in with the video card I had because it was so big. Maybe too many 5" drives and the swinging door seems a little flimsy. The USB, audio and eSATA on the side are convenient for some but often in the way or not accessible.

Other Thoughts: Looks and sounds great. Very stylish with the blue LEDs but not cheap looking like some clear cases.
