5 out of 5 eggsSuper!

Pros: -GREAT airflow
--Lots of fan mount locations, I have 8 excluding my CPU fans.
--Room for large air coolers and H100i setups
-Easy HDD mount, see other thoughts
-Looks awesome with good aftermarket fans
-Room for fans on front and back of hard drive cages
-neat cable management options

Cons: -The 120mm front and 200mm side fans that ship with the case use a proprietary connector, cannot be plugged into motherboard or fan controller (which can only use those three fans). The exhaust fan in the back uses a standard connector.
-Rear thumbscrews strip easily with a screwdriver or excess force. Don't overdo it. (I did)

Other Thoughts: The HDDs can be mounted easily on the bottom two. You can turn the drive and bracket upside down and use right angle data cables.
I've had this case for about 9 months now, and it has been awesome. I put a couple of the lepa casino fans in the front of the case and it looks neat. It's a sweet case for your average gamer/enthusiast.

5 out of 5 eggsVery pleased

Pros: great case, lots of airflow, and it fits everything very nicely. I was worried that my cpu fan would not fit but it still fit with 2 inches to spare.

Cons: had to get a new front panel, as the fans were not working initially. Some problem with the connection. The way they are designed are awesome though, as they provide you with extra cords to plug the fans directly into your power supply with. But since the wires were having difficulties, they wouldn't work at first. I could plug the side fan into my MOBO but the front fans would not reach. Corsair's RMA process was very easy and hassle free though. Got a new panel in less than a week, free of charge. Installed the new panel and everything works great!

Other Thoughts: Get this case, it is very nice.

4 out of 5 eggsSpacious and well built inside

Pros: Impressed with build quality. Nice white color. Alot of cable management options. Love that you can move(remove) the HD cages.
Front and top fan filters should keep alot of dust out of your system.

Cons: I am taking one egg off, mostly for the fan controller but also for the 200mm fan which did not spin but the LED worked. Corsair sells fans...why would they have a proprietary controller?

Other Thoughts: Waiting on Newegg for remedy to the fan issue.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Case

Pros: I have not added any additional fans yet, the case is working great and is quiet. I transferred everything from my previous case without any trouble at all. There is plenty of room. I put my 3.5" hard drives and SSD into Icy Dock adapters and removed all the 3.5" bays making more room, with better cooling from the front fans.

Cons: The only con I have is a small one. My power supply would only bolt in with 3 bolts, the 4th hole was covered by the case. I don't see this as a real problem since the PS rests on rubber supports and has 3 bolts holding it steady.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case, few flaws

Pros: * It's on the larger side for a Mid Tower.
* Having bought many cases , I feel like this case is of higher quality
* Mesh air filter on top is removable for easy cleaning of dust.
* LEDs on front are white; keeps with case theme
* Came with USB 3.0 to 2.0 converter
* Has a front panel firewire port
* All fans connect to fan controller for front of case control
* Hard drive bays do not require screws. They simply snap to the sides and you slide the tray back in.
* Holes in case allow for cables to be threaded to the back for easy cable management.
Plenty of room for big graphics cards and heatsinks etc.
* Many drive bays

Cons: * Slightly expensive IMO
* The side panel on mine leaves a small sliver after being closed and drives my OCD nuts. It covers about 98% of the area it needs to. Hard to explain, but it doesn't fit 100%.
* 2 of the standoff screw locations were basically stripped. Cost me time to ensure that the board would be be sturdy. My board needed 9 standoffs and 6 were already on the case upon opening. Of those 3 remaining, 2 were extremely difficult to get tight.
* Side panel case screws are of very poor quality. They were stripped upon arrival. Every time I take off the side panel it takes me 5 minutes of messing with them to get them in again.
* Screws/Standoffs were really cheap and the factory cuts made them hard to screw in in general.

Other Thoughts: I'm satisfied with the case but the flimsy screws made my experience slightly irritating and created more work for me. The fan controller is a nice touch I missed that when I bought it.

I like that the LEDs arent bright blue as many cases are.

The case is closer to being a full tower than a Mid Tower; which is fine with me.
I have an AMD R9 280 Sapphire in it along with a Noctua NH-D14 so it has plenty of clearance for various big cards and heatsinks.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome case

Pros: I got this case last christmas to build my rig and I love it. It has a ton of cooling power and looks great. I really like the white case with blue LED fans. You also don't have to worry about dust in your machine, because this thing's dust filters are amazing. It has a slide-out one on the bottom of the case which is nice, and the filter for the front and side fans are built in.

Cons: Absolutely none

Other Thoughts: Great Case, I would recommend

5 out of 5 eggsOUTSTANDING CASE

Pros: Great looks, plenty of room, and very good cooling.

Cons: Wasn't free??

Other Thoughts: This case is great looking, has TONS of room inside, and also provides excellent cooling. I love how the top bay is made for the Corsair H100 cooling system. It fits perfectly, and allows you to cool your CPU with an integrated water cooling solution while still having excellent capacity inside the case.

4 out of 5 eggsLooks good

Pros: Very clean looking case
Very open which makes for good cooling.
The white LED fans look nice.
Easy cable management

Cons: Biggest complaint is that one of the screws for the side panel is striped already after removing it a handful of times. It won't tighten at all, but I'm not going to rip everything out to RMA because that'd be a pain. Also, the case is a little cramped with full size video cards. Would not recommend for SLI/Crossfire.

2 out of 5 eggsSecond 500R to stop working

Pros: - Plenty of room
- Great cable management
- Removable trays

Cons: I've purchased several of these cases for the office and this is the second time that the case has randomly stopped working on us. The front controller cables stopped working out of no where, causing the side fan to stop working and putting heat on our very expensive parts. The first case this happened to I chalked it up to just random luck, but after the second time I just had to write this review to warn other prospective buyers.

I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 because besides the (very serious) front cable issue, the cases that are still working are great. Unfortunately when our office is paying this much for the cases, I need something more reliable.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear customer,

We're sorry to hear that you're having troubles with the 500R. Please give us a call at 888-222-4346 and we'll be more than happy to replace the fan controller for you.
