5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series 500R Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

Pros: Lots of room, great cooling and quiet.
I like the feature being able to install different size hard drives without investing money for adapters

Cons: none to speak of yet.

Other Thoughts: This case was a vast improvement over my previous case. It offered a lot more space than the previous, and on this one, I do not have to remove everything to install a hard drive. Wire routes are great, but can become congested if you are not careful.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Case

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series 500R Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

Pros: Light and Sturdy,
Roomy and looks amazing.
Great airflow and quiet.

Cons: Backside connectors against the hard drives can be a tight fit without the right angled SATA cables.
Did not come with the USB 3.0 -> 2.0 adapter as stated although not really a big con for me.

Other Thoughts: My 8 year old Antec power supply cables weren't long enough to feed all of them through the cable management. So watch out if you have an older PSU with shorter cables.

3 out of 5 eggsGood product, meh service

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series 500R Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

Pros: The case is large enough to fit almost any need and comes with plenty of space for expansions and upgrades. I you are ever looking to overclock a hard drive and want more space for cooling this is the tower to get. The screw in plugs and the parts provided with the tower make installation possible without the use of tools.

Cons: The plastic fan on the side of the case rattles obnoxiously after a few weeks of usage. The rebate provided with this offer is finicky to achieve compared to gigabyte.

Other Thoughts: Get the product for the product, don't expect corsair to be there if you need help

1 out of 5 eggsTook a long time to get here and was broken

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series 500R Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

Pros: Case looks nice enough and is quite big,

Cons: when I received mine the front panel was so dented that one of the bottom corners is jutting out from the box about two inches.
Very unhappy with this, the case took two weeks longer than the rest of my parts to arrive and was the only part to arrive blatantly broken.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case, lots of room.

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series 500R Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

Pros: Easily fit an R390; plenty of options for cable management, stock fans are super quiet.

Cons: It's big. It's metal. The wife doesn't like the look of it sitting on my desk.

Other Thoughts: Highly recommended. I hadn't built a new machine in a while, this was an awesome case to use.

Edit: Be careful of their rebates - unlike every other manufacturer who offers rebates, they will exploit any opportunity to deny rebates. At the end of the day the case was great, but Corsair is pretty shady in their dealings.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic! But...

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series 500R Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

Pros: Everything worked smoothly and flawlessly.
Tons of extra space
Keeps everything extremely cool

Cons: The fans obviously work, because it keeps everything way cooler than my other case, but they do not feel like they are moving all that much air.
My DVD Player did not fit in the bottom bay for some reason. It was too tight. I had to move it to the second from the bottom.
This is probably a defect of my product, but front USB 3.0 ports do not work.

Other Thoughts: I've had the case for five months, and everything works fine.
I got over the fact that my DVD player didn't fit in the bottom bay.
It's a pain to have to reach to the back of the case every time, just to plug my Flash Drives in. I wish the front USBs worked, but otherwise, no issues, and completely satisfied.

3 out of 5 eggsDisappointed NO USB 2.0 to USB 3.0 adapter as Pictured in AD

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series 500R Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

Pros: Awesome Case Just what I needed for my Longer Video Cards
AWESOME Price with REBATE

Cons: Just arrived today .. Was hoping to get the Build done BEFORE Christmas
But CORSAIR left out the USB 2.0 to USB 3.0 adapter .. Need USB up front for several peripherals I use ,
My MO BO does not have USB port on it to connect too .. Only USB 2.0 ..
Guess the Build will be a LATE Christmas Present NOW while I get what was Missing shipped !!!

Other Thoughts: If I can get what I need by Christmas eve , I'll boost this to 5 Eggs

5 out of 5 eggsfantastic

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series 500R Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

Pros: lots of air movement, decent weight, and has plenty of room on the backside for cable management.

Cons: -the rubber feet come off easily on carpet floors
-the front usb ports dont do well with heavy(weight) usb items.

Other Thoughts: This thing has help up well over the last 2 years. I would purchase it again, as well as recommend it to others. As long as you like the style you will be satisfied with this case

5 out of 5 eggsBEST case in my life - hands down!!!

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series 500R Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

Pros: Not TOO big, but big enough for my build:
Cooler Master EVO 212, no worries

BACKSIDE panel comes off - if you need to get the the backside of the MB (ie. to update CPU cooler) is a major plus. Also allows cables to be routed thru the backside.

Fans are normal speed are whisper - I can't hear them from 4 feet away.

2 drive bays and one comes out. I took the drive bay OUT on top. While there was room for it, having the extra space is nice as b4 it's always a tight fit between the vid card and the drive bays. One drive bay has 3 slots, plus there is all the optical drive areas that you can mount more hardware.

Drive bays are tool-less - HD's just clip in no screws required. The slots also directly mount a SSD with small screws (provided)

Rubber ports in the back to push any wiring on the outside. I transfer large data by swapping HD's around. Now I can plug in without opening the case. But still opening the case is very easy, well designed, easy to take off, reinstall.

Cons: I'd like more USB ports on the front

Other Thoughts: I do a gaming build about every 2 years, been doing that since 1990. Every time I always fight my case. This time it has been such a great experience. I can't tell you how much I love this case.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing case

This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series 500R Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

Pros: The look of this case is great, pictures don't do it justice.

Quiet fans.

Plenty of space for organization.

Cons: The only con I can think of is the rubber soles on the back fell off right away, glued them back on and no problem. So no real issues.
