3 out of 5 eggsGreat product with no support

This review is from: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition (VN10006W2N) White and Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans - 1 x 200mm Colorshift side fan, 1 x 200mm Colorshift top fan

Pros: Precision fit for the slide in trays, 4 USB ports in front. Plenty of room, and again everything is precision.

Cons: This is more a review of Thermaltake as I bought the same thing in a midcase. Thye USB front panel had issues and I contacted Thermaltake, no answer, contacted again, no answer. Tried again and reached management level and we exchanged emails and they promised to fix it. Long story short, two years later and I gave u.

Other Thoughts: I am concerned that with no support if I had an issue with more than one usb port I would still be stuck. Certainly not going to spend the money to ship a case when they could have shipped me the part in a very small box.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We at Thermaltake apologize for the negative experience thus far with our support. Were your support attempts to our USA office?
For cases, we warrant only parts, so the entire case does not have to be sent in. As you stated, it would only be the USB module that would be replaced.
If you have not receive support, please email or call our US office to have your USB module replaced.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

This review is from: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition (VN10006W2N) White and Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans - 1 x 200mm Colorshift side fan, 1 x 200mm Colorshift top fan

Pros: This case is beautiful and it was delivered by FedEx quickly. It is probably the best case I've ever had.

Cons: It was dead on arrival. The power button is broken. I transfered all of my PC components to the new white case from my 9 year old case, which still worked. The white one wouldn't power up, but the motherboard had some power. I transfered the PC components back to the old case, and it powered up fully. I then called my friend, who had a Thermaltake Level 10 GT Black and transfered the components to that case. As soon as I hit the power button I realized the issue. My new white case had a broken power button, because the working case's power button wasn't able to push in as far as the white case's power button. I am beginning the RMA process now.

Other Thoughts: It took me 8 hours to figure out what was wrong. I had to call a friend and have them take thieir PC apart, so I could see if I messed up something during the transfer.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsGreat tower with some cheap quirks

This review is from: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition (VN10006W2N) White and Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans - 1 x 200mm Colorshift side fan, 1 x 200mm Colorshift top fan

Pros: Amazing look, everybody is taken aback by its size and look.
Really good fan positioning allows for good temperature control at pretty good noise levels
Very open interior allows for easy mounting
Excellent build quality on most parts.

Cons: Has some cheap quirks. The power button on my unit didn't work.. Open the front cover plate (which is made of really flimsy feeling plastic) and find out my power button is caved into its groove, and not sitting where it is supposed to. I don't know how it passed QA with such a glaring error. Re position it, and close case but it just falls in again. Have to glue it in place. Finally start getting the tactile feeling that tells me that the button is working. Try to turn it on, still no go. Apparently the wire connections to the button aren't done well, have to re position and solder them in place..

Other Thoughts: Better QA, dont have selective build quality, and cheap out on really important parts.

4 out of 5 eggsEXCELLENT CASE!

This review is from: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition (VN10006W2N) White and Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans - 1 x 200mm Colorshift side fan, 1 x 200mm Colorshift top fan

Pros: + BIG
+ Roomy
+ Liquid cooling options
+ HDD and SSD easy access
+ Lockable HDD/SSD slots
+ Lockable side panel
+ Several fans and fan size options
+ White
+ Unique design
+ Removable motherboard I/O panels
+ Removable 5.25" panels

Almost everything about this case is great in terms of design. It comes with very quiet and big fans that have kept my system cool so far, although I haven't really pushed my system to the limits just yet.
The HDD/SSD slots are easy to remove and easy to connect and doesn't have the hassle of disconnecting the SATA cables before removing them from the case.
The front panels, 3.5" and 5.25" drive bays, have easy to remove and reinstall panels.
The motherboard I/O panels are taken out by removing a screw and can also be put back into place. No more open slots in the back from accidentally taking out the wrong panel or from removing some useless hardware.
It has 2 air filters on it, 1 of which I think is a great idea.
It has a fan controller that allows the user to increase or decrease the fan speed by clicking 1 button.
It has 2 Super Speed USB ports on top and an e-SATA port as well.
On the front of the case it has 4 USB 2.0 ports and front audio ports which adds to the convenience.
It also has an LED controller that allows the user to choose from Blue, Red, Green, or a flashing combination of those colors by pressing 1 button.

Cons: - Can be difficult to access at first
- Bottom air filter
- Weight vs handle
- Blue strip along handle does nothing

When I first got this case I couldn't figure out how to get into it. I eventually watched a video on how to access the case and I had to read the manual as well but I feel that it should be a little more easy to access this case, especially since the user can lock everything up. There's no need to hide buttons and such.

This case has an air filter on the bottom... The power supply is mounted on the bottom which is maybe why an air filter is down there but I feel that it will be a hassle to remember to clean every now and again and I don't believe that a lot of dust will make it into the case from underneath the case as opposed to above the case or on the sides.

This case has a nice looking handle attached to it. It leaves the user thinking that this case is meant to be transported to things like LAN events. However, at about 30+lbs carrying this case with only one handle makes things a little difficult. If anything this case should have had 2 handles on it as I find it quite difficult to keep it from banging into the doorway when I transport it from one room to another.

There is a blue strip laid into the handle that looks like it should light up... But it doesn't. It's just there for some kind of show that doesn't really show off anything. This definitely would have been an awesome looking case if that strip lit up!

Other Thoughts: Overall, I like this case. It has a great design to it as opposed to some other cases I've owned in the past and Thermaltake has obviously focused this case around keeping it cool which I value above all else when choosing a case. It is definitely worth the $200 I spent on it!

1 out of 5 eggsHeartbreaking

This review is from: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition (VN10006W2N) White and Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans - 1 x 200mm Colorshift side fan, 1 x 200mm Colorshift top fan

Pros: -nice design, loved the Hdd bays.
-very spacious perfect for slightly
-cable management was a breeze
-lockable in multiple spots (Hdd bays and doors)

Cons: -Fried my working system that I transplanted from an old case. Seems there is a problem with the USB 3.0 headers that lead to a power jolt frying the mobo and psu. $250 case that fried a $1000 system. Computer started and sizzled.

Other Thoughts: Quality control killed my comp after I purchased one of the most expensive cases on the web.
$250 case, roughly $1000 comp, my face as it sizzled..... priceless

5 out of 5 eggsEveryone Calls this a Stormtrooper

This review is from: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition (VN10006W2N) White and Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans - 1 x 200mm Colorshift side fan, 1 x 200mm Colorshift top fan

Pros: - (2) USB 3.0 ports on top, (4) USB 2.0 ports on the front.
- Lockable to protect the guts and quick swap hard drives.
- Spacious AF. Cable management options all-around.
- Comes with functional, color-changing fans.
- High quality construction materials. Easy to pull off panels and reinstall them.
- Dust screens for every intake and exhaust fan.
- Adjustable damper for side panel fan. Primarily for guiding intake airflow direction.
- Side door comes off and goes on easy for ease of assembly and tweaking.
- Power supply mounts to bottom.
- Motherboard plate allows rear access to board.
- Case lights default to blue on every restart.
- Heavy AF. Big AF.

Cons: - Set up manual is lacking on details.
- Handle on the top is for looks and doesn't light up.
- Only 2 case fan settings. High and Low. Defaults to low on every restart.
- Case lights default to blue on every restart.
- Heavy AF. Big AF.
- Is not edible.

Other Thoughts: A friend of mine set up his last rig with the black version of this case and raved about the ease of set up that came with it. He was 100% correct. Really, the cons are minor when compared to the features that come with this case.
There is a good inch and a quarter space for cable clusters behind the motherboard plate and closer to the hard drive bays adds about another half inch. The entire backside of the plate has cable routing tabs built in. The plate itself has access to the back of the motherboard and there are (2) nice routing holes to the right of the motherboard to allow easy entry for SATA cables and 24-pin power. All the smaller cable holes are fitted with rubber grommets to prevent cables from rubbing against (relatively) thin metal. Though, I did have some issues with the grommets popping out when pushing larger cable plugs through. There are holes with grommets on the backside of the case for routing whatever you think you need to go from the inside to the outside. I didn't use them, so I don't know.
I did not have any issues with any of the edges being sharp while running cables or mounting components.
The right side panel (for cable management) is easy to take off and put back on (contrary to other cases I have had in the past) and has big thumb screws that secure it.
Component size will not be an issue in this case and will likely only be limited by the layout of your motherboard. The depth to the side door panel allows for really tall CPU fans/heatsinks, even with the adjustable damper.
All the dust screens are easy to remove and clean. Including the one on the bottom. There are a lot of options for fans in this case. The top fan comes out and is already laid out for self contained, liquid CPU cooler radiators to be mounted. My friend mounted a 240mm radiator with no issues.
The feet are adjustable to widen the base, if needed. The handle on this thing is pretty much for balancing the case while you carrying it by supporting it underneath. Empty it could support the weight but it will not after all your components are mounted.
Having the power supply at the bottom of the case stabilizes it overall by being bottom-heavy.

The only issue I ran into on this case was that one of the USB 3.0 ports on the top was dead. A quick call to Thermaltake's customer service and they had the replacement assembly on its way by the next day. I put it in the case and it worked great.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case for the price.

This review is from: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition (VN10006W2N) White and Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans - 1 x 200mm Colorshift side fan, 1 x 200mm Colorshift top fan

Pros: BIG! Easy access to the inside and plenty of room to work.
Well made and it looks impressive.

Cons: One of the USB inputs on the top of the case was broken on arrival.
╚One of the (Blue) LED Lights went out after the first month. (Been over a year now and all other lights still work fine)
╚When I first got it, 2 of the fans made squeaky noises from time to time, This has gone away on its on.
╚Hard to take off and put on the back cover plate.

Other Thoughts: All in all this case is great for the price. Would be 5 eggs but the issues listed above brought it down one.
*I would recommend it to others*

3 out of 5 eggsShipped fast, but was delivered with aesthetic damage

This review is from: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition (VN10006W2N) White and Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans - 1 x 200mm Colorshift side fan, 1 x 200mm Colorshift top fan

Pros: I love the case, all the features, it's why I bought it.
Came with all accessories, shipped very quickly.

Cons: Well on arrival, when I opened it up, the window looking inside right above the fan with the vent director, after peeling the plastic protection off of it, seems to have horizontal engraved scratches across the entire thing, and it looks like the window was dragged across pavement or something, which isn't what happened, but if I'm going to order a 200 dollar case, I expect it to be brand new, and have a window that is clean and scratch free, nobody wants to see scratches on that.

Pros: Quiet fans, plenty of room to add components, lots of room for extra hard drives, room for more optical drives. Just a all around good case if you want to build a really nice system.

Cons: No cons as far as I can tell.
