5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Case!

This review is from: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition (VN10006W2N) White and Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans-1x 200mm Colorshift side fan, 1x 200mm Colorshift top fan, 1x 200mm Colorshift front fan and 1x 140mm rear fan

Pros: Sexy, quality case! Plenty of ventilation and air filters. Love the freakin' huge multi-color fans and the simple yet effective fan controller. Even at low, my video card's cooler (480 GTX) doesn't have to work nearly as hard under full load as it did in my previous case, which was quite well ventilated on its own! The hot swap bays make for easy installation, and plenty of grommet holes to route your cables. I've never EVER had such a clean build before! Also love the shared power for the SATA drives, further reducing the amount of cabling that has to run around the case.

And the removable fan door! So easy to work in this case!

And the handle! It's waaaay easier to move than my handle-less mid-tower case!

And the locks to keep intruders out! So much love for this case!

Cons: Not enough room behind the mobo plate! Be prepared to get rough with the rear panel trying to get those thumbscrews back on while compressing the cables routed behind the mobo!

Other Thoughts: BUY THIS CASE! You won't regret it!

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

This review is from: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition (VN10006W2N) White and Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans-1x 200mm Colorshift side fan, 1x 200mm Colorshift top fan, 1x 200mm Colorshift front fan and 1x 140mm rear fan

Pros: Very, very easy to work with. TONS of space. Beautiful design and sleek colors. Fans are spectacular, and the LED settings are phenomenal. I absolutely recommend this if you can afford it.

Cons: Nothing at all.

Other Thoughts: BUY THIS CASE. It is truly amazing. And the handle is very sturdy so you can bring this with you to a friends house or wherever.

5 out of 5 eggsIn

This review is from: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition (VN10006W2N) White and Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans-1x 200mm Colorshift side fan, 1x 200mm Colorshift top fan, 1x 200mm Colorshift front fan and 1x 140mm rear fan

Pros: Insane case, everything fits perfectly, plenty of room

Cons: could of made the 2.5 in bay drive into a extra 3.5 bay drive, just my opinion because most will get this case and have water cooling and the pump automatically takes up 2 drives leaving u wit only 2 drives left.....

5 out of 5 eggsStress-free access to everything? But locked PCI panels & bad cable clearance

This review is from: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition (VN10006W2N) White and Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans-1x 200mm Colorshift side fan, 1x 200mm Colorshift top fan, 1x 200mm Colorshift front fan and 1x 140mm rear fan

Pros: Easy and hassle-free access to everything!

No fan cables in the way - side fan connect by hinge contact.

Side fan air can be directed up or down with a lever.

Main cover opens as a door hinge OR can be pulled off hinge and replaced easily.

Main cover is unlocked for opening by an easy push button on the underside of it.

No front panel cable; front bezel comes off without the front panel.

Hard drives slide out after pushing a button; accessible from the front-side, no need to open the whole case.

decent fans, but some say you should remove top air filter for better air flow - a filter there seems unnecessary anyway.

random added feature: headphone holder

5 hot swap bays + 4 5.25 means you could potentially load 8 - 10 hard drives or so if you purchase hot swap or other 5.25 HDD bays.

FOUR USB 2.0, and 2 USB 3.0!

3 LED colors and they can be turned off.

Handle is plastic but feels sturdy enough.

You need to use your own SATA data cables, but the power ones are provided.

These connectors can break (see cons), but people say they are easily removable so that you can wire the HDDs normally, so there's no real loss. Such breakages are covered under warranty anyway.

A lot of plastic - it's fine! Keep it from being heavier than it already is, and it all feels sturdy enough.

Cons: "hot swap" bays not easy hot swaps as they need 4 screw to hold hard drives (how come not tool-less???)

As many say, the cable clearance for the rear panel is a bit small; you may have trouble putting the cover panel back on.

Main cover is unlocked for opening easily, but had no hold for opening it; a little tricky to open one-handed as you need to keep holding the button down as you find an end to try pulling on.

Rear panel seems only thing not smartly-designed; classic, annoying slide-panel.

PCI panels thumbscrews can't be removed without first taking off a small panel with 1 screw.

Multiple reviews says the SATA connectors for the HDDs can break when stuffing cabless so be careful; however, Thermaltake responds to most of those reviews and says its covered under warranty and they'll send replacement parts

Side fan LED gets reset when the door is opened; LEDs do not remember setting on power cycles.

No wheels?

Other Thoughts: I wanted the easy access to stuff, no annoying cables stuck to the case when you're taking it apart, no digging inside the case for changing hard drives.

I saw a youtube review by some kids who can only compliment something by saying what it's not ("it's not terrible!") but the good thing was that they kept taking this case apart and thus showed how much you can take off without much hassle.

All panels and bezel come off without wires attached which is a big plus for me; the front doesn't come off with the front panel and the hinged door is easily taken off its hinges, and the fan uses a contact on the hinge, so again, no cables. Hard drives are all easily accessible without having to open the case; if you have it unlocked already any hard drive is removed from the case in the time it takes you to yank one out, that's all - but for actually swtiching it out, you have to deal with the classic 4 mounting screws for HDDs, which is even harder on this case because the holes have rubbers, which is good! lessens vibration, but makes the swapping harder.

Regardless, you have 4 5.25 bays so if you must have REAL hot-swap bays, you can buy some separately and put them there, like a 4-HDD in 3 slots, or even a 5HDD in 3 slot sort of case. The fans are all fairly big and should move a good bit of air - my current MOBO can't power all the fans though.

Just be wary of a few possible other reviews noted: hard drives may not push the hard drives deep enough, the SATA power connectors are brittle / fragile, the cable clearance in the rear cover may not be good, that panel is an annoying slide panel that can be hard to put back on, front USB ports may be very tight - remember these when you're examining your new case and checking it for defects!

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME AWESOME CASE!

This review is from: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition (VN10006W2N) White and Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans-1x 200mm Colorshift side fan, 1x 200mm Colorshift top fan, 1x 200mm Colorshift front fan and 1x 140mm rear fan

Pros: I've been building my own computer rigs since 1998. This is bar none the VERY BEST CASE I've ever had the pleasure to build in. I'm so glad I got it. Worth every penny! Probably the coolest PC case I've ever bought as well.

Cons: Probably the price, but if you can afford it worth every penny!

3 out of 5 eggsGood case slight problem

This review is from: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition (VN10006W2N) White and Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans-1x 200mm Colorshift side fan, 1x 200mm Colorshift top fan, 1x 200mm Colorshift front fan and 1x 140mm rear fan

Pros: Sexy as hell.
Awesome light show.
Looks like an Alien Spaceship Fridge.
Roomy.
Great Air Flow.
Lots of cable room to keep it neat.
Carry Handle.
Back side has space for PSU wiring.

Cons: Bad Hot Swap Bay Connector.
Bad Reset Switch.

Other Thoughts: Swapped to this case and my machine randomly started resetting itself, no BSOD, just restart. It happened when the system came underload, especially copying data. At first I thought it was the reset switch being stuck. I unhooked it. I spent the next 16 hours, testing my CPU, RAM, RAID, PSU, Drivers, Windows etc. I was ready to put a mag of .223 through my machine with my AR15. Turns out one of the little hot swap connecters was bad. I started thinking like Sherlock Holmes, and found the improbable solution. I removed all hot swap connectors and straight wired them. Problem solved, restarts have stopped as of this morning. Other than the Reset switch not working and the hot swap causing a massive headache it is great. 3 Eggs because it almost made me violent.

5 out of 5 eggsBest case I've ever owned.

This review is from: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition (VN10006W2N) White and Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans-1x 200mm Colorshift side fan, 1x 200mm Colorshift top fan, 1x 200mm Colorshift front fan and 1x 140mm rear fan

Pros: First off, the thing looks freaking AMAZING: Sleek interior, sexy exterior, and plenty of breathing room for the components. Has locks on the hot-swap bays and side door so that I can protect my system from thieving neckbeards at LAN parties and group events. The front panel isn't riddled with ostentatious logos and hyperbolic descriptions of its features (like how some cases have the logo taking up 20% of the front or. "Super Speed Port 3.5 billion" all over the place). The lights may be a bit bright for some, but I don't intend on using it in total darkness, so it's perfectly fine for me. And did I mention that it looks sexy? Because it looks sexy. Like, a lot.

Cons: Absolutely none.

Other Thoughts: While researching the case, I noticed that the Battle Edition price is waaaay higher here than it is on Thermaltake's site. Not sure if that's an error, but if you want the Battle Edition, don't get it here.

1 out of 5 eggsFront Audio Port very annoying static, avoid this case

This review is from: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition (VN10006W2N) White and Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans-1x 200mm Colorshift side fan, 1x 200mm Colorshift top fan, 1x 200mm Colorshift front fan and 1x 140mm rear fan

Pros: It was on sale.

Cons: I purchased a black version of this case and the front headphone port has very annoying static noise.

If you search on Google or even other reviews you will see the same exact problem.

This is absolutely ridiculous, one of the few electric connections that come with the case, and it's consistently bad.

Other Thoughts: I regret even considering Thermaltake cases, look elsewhere. I spent all day yesterday and today setting up the case, taking it apart, driving to Newegg to replace it, setting it up again.. only to have the SAME EXACT PROBLEM.

This has nothing to do with my particular set up, others are experiencing the same exact problem.

If i try connecting he HD Audio port from my old case while my computer is set up in the Thermaltake, it sounds perfectly fine. Something is inherently wrong with this case.
