5 out of 5 eggsAntec NEW SOLUTION SERIES VSK-4000

Pros: Fair amount of room inside for a cheap, modest mid-size case, and it's completely Black. Front Panel Audio and USB work perfectly.

Cons: Thin gauge steel sides are the Worst...

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these and one of the VSK-3000's ... I know- it's a cheap case... but Antec should raise the price a bit and stick to what they've always produced... you know "We" will buy it anyway. Wouldn't they rather hear of complaints about co$t than about marketing a Flexible Case ...???

4 out of 5 eggsworks just fine

Pros: price point was "spot on" for an economy build.
holds all the parts like it should.... i even installed a closed loop water coolong system with no problem.
air flow is acceptable..
no cut fingers yay!

Cons: as to be expected ... cable management is limited.
the thin metal can be easily bent if you are rough with it.
the front audio cable is just a bit too short and had to be streched across the motherboard to reach the header. zero chance for routing.

Other Thoughts: you get what you pay for people!
Let's face it ... you're just not going to get a USB 3.0 port or dust filters on a $20.00 case, period ... so stop whining!
i cannot believe the nasy comments said about Antec!
Antec is allowed to compete at this price point and in my 30 years in the computer business i have seen people pay alot more for crappier cases.(me being one of them)
This computer case is what it is .... a cheap box to hold cheap parts ... and it does the job.
New egg shipping rocks! I ordered the item at 9am on tuesday and it was on the bench by 4pm the following day. Well done New Egg.

3 out of 5 eggsFlimsy

Pros: It is black.
It isn't wild looking.
No window (hate that).
2x120mm fan capable (front & back).

Cons: Flimsy.
Flimsy.
I never expected such a flimsy case from Antec. I did not know that they built such.
Can't really say this was worth $25.00.

Other Thoughts: Just buy the Antec 300. It is boss.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for entry level

Pros: It's a good case for the price, and it has some nice features for a cheap case:
- front panel reset button
- 120mm rear exhaust fan
- some cable management
- good looks (clean, not flashy)

Cons: - metal panels are flimsy. They can easily warp
- very little space to route cables on back panel
- top mounted psu

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a cheap case or are on budget, this is probably the case for you

4 out of 5 eggsGood Budget Case

Pros: Affordable, decent looking case with plenty of room. Light and easy to work on, I've built 6 computers using these. Great solution for a budget business case that isn't all flashing lights and ridiculous graphics. The fan that comes with it is nice and quiet and flows enough air.

Cons: I've ordered 6 of these for work over the past 8 months, and about 4 of them were dented above the power supply (no visible damage to the box). One of them was a little difficult to close the side. It's not a big deal for us since all the cases go under someones desk, but if you want your case to be visible beware. Paint wasn't damaged.

Other Thoughts: I'll still buy these anytime for work, but I wouldn't use them at home unless I planned on hiding it.

Front panel connectors are just long enough to reach the bottom of an ATX motherboard. Forget about hiding them without an extension.

4 out of 5 eggsIt fits!

Pros: Looking for an inexpensive but relatively decent looking case to fit your super-long video card and other beefy components in? This will do just that. Pop out the removable tray and you're set for even the longest video cards (13" or so).

The side panel is also perforated in such a way that it accepts a 120mm side mounted fan, but you will want some rubber spacers so that the fan does not make major air turbulence noise pressed right up against the perforations.

The front intake fan grill is cut pretty well to allow plenty of airflow which impressed me for a case this inexpensive. Usually they are so restrictive that I need to cut them out.

Cons: The side panels of the case are very flexible which makes closing the case like playing a game of Whack-A-Mole, with one corner popping up after pushing another one down.

In general all the metal is pretty thin. As expected of a $35 case.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking to house all your large components in a case for the least amount of money possible, this is worth a consideration.

However, there are often cases that come in at this same price point after a mail-in rebate with better construction, so keep an eye out for those too and you may get a better case.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat low cost case

Pros: Low cost case with a spot for an ssd. Got it for $25, perfect for an office computer. Comes with a rear fan.

Cons: None, given that its a case for a low cost office computer.

Other Thoughts: If you just need a basic, sleek looking case, here you go.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent Case

Pros: Looks nice, decent rear fan included. Super cheap price when on sale.

Cons: Antec should not put their name on this case. I have been using/building PCs with their cases and PSUs since 2004, and they have always been super high quality/durable and attractive.
Not so with this case, looks fine from the outside, but as soon as I got it open, I realized Antec had slapped their name on a SUPER cheap case. Flimsy metal, I actually popped out and bent the motherboard area just inserting the memory on the motherboard.

Other Thoughts: If it had been another cheaper brand I would have possibly given it a 4 egg due to the fact that the case is completely functional, but Antec (PSU's and Cases) have always meant great quality at a decent price to me. Apparently if you get an Antec case for a steal level price, you get worse than decent quality.
