5 out of 5 eggsNice little case

Pros: Really light! Price was right and the front USBs and 3.5mm jacks are all working.

Cons: It's not real easy to get into this case. No front fan so if you are looking for good air flow for a system that runs hot this isn't the case for you.

Other Thoughts: Nice little case. Went from a really old Raidmax Smilodon to this and it weighs almost nothing in comparison.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad, you get what you pay for

Pros: I feel bad for the Purolator/UPS guy, who actually for the first time ever delivered the item straight to my door instead of the store beside my home.

He must have had to ring my apartment buzzer 100 times before I got to it, but regardless, shipping was super speedy. (est. delivery the 8th of this month? Standard ground shipping? And it arrived in 3-4 days? Excellent!) Item arrived in great shape, *very* minor scuffs here and there but the material is a bit flimsy so it was expected.

I've been playing with fitting spare hardware and mini-mobos int to check fits, seems great to me an I doubt I will have any issues.

Case arrived almost entirely unharmed, and included a warranty info booklet, a good amount of extra screws, and a printout diagram of each feature/part of the case.

-Sleek design
-Nice and compact, perfect for what I needed
-Power/reset? buttons feel sturdy enough for my aging mother, I doubt she'll end up breaking it (she gets tremors, broke the power button on her old dell)
-Included a single case fan for those on the most scrutinizing of budgets
-Overall decent value for $20

Cons: Case material is very flimsy as other reviews have mentioned, if you are a big guy or have a cast iron grip, be sure to mind how much force you're applying to just about any of the case doors when you take them off, and also be careful when popping out the drive-bay "filler plates" if you intend to use either of the bays, because you can bend the chassis very easily.... which leads me to...

-ouch. ouch again. oh no! I've severed my radial artery on the case I bought to do a nice thing for my mother! It's brutal, like you could successfully use a can opener to do interior case mods on this,

entire thing is VERY sharp, not a smooth edge to be found. I sliced up my fingertip a little. I recommend wearing gloves or just being very careful if you need to do reachwork, such as laying in your motherboard... watch the skin.

Other than the sharp edges and somewhat flimsy material, I can not complain truly. For $20 this is great value.

Other Thoughts: Normally I would give this case 3 stars if I were trying to be strictly objective about the quality etc, but I can't help but take the sheer affordability into account here.

For what you pay, it's an excellent deal. 4/5 eggs

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This is a good case for the price.

Cons: The standoffs were not usable and the metal holding the standoffs is thin.

4 out of 5 eggsA Very Nice Looking Inexpensive Case

Pros: Very nice minimalist looking design on the front bezel. Small footprint.

Cons: Cheaply made steel is flimsy. The included screws didn't mount well onto the included motherboard standoffs.

Other Thoughts: It was cheap. I didn't have high expectations to start with. But I was eventually able to get everything mounted properly. The case serves its purpose well.

5 out of 5 eggsReally nice for what it is

Pros: Lightweight, looks nice. Plenty of room to build inside. Everything works as it should and case came in great shape with no scratches or anything. Has good ventilation and keeps fan noise to minimum. I use it for an HTPC and never hear the fans during movies or anything.

Cons: It's a no-frills case with no extras, but it's dirt cheap, what do you expect?

Other Thoughts: For as cheap as this case is, it deserves 5 stars. Everything fit into the case easily and painlessly. If you want something with heavy-duty construction, USB 3.0 and all the extras, you shouldn't be buying a $30 case.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, plain case

Pros: Simple case, nice layout, few sharp corners.

Cons: Flimsy side, only matters when putting the side back on.

Other Thoughts: More USB ports in the front please.

5 out of 5 eggsAntec VSK-3000

Pros: Inexpensive
Attractive design
Nicely compact size

Cons: Thin metal construction

Other Thoughts: I must have been much luckier than most of the other reviewers here, my case arrived without a scratch on it. Perfect condition.
Please consider, you are buying the lowest-priced case in Antec's line, OF COURSE it's going to have thinner "flimsier" construction. Handle it with a little care and you'll be fine.
OF COURSE the front USB ports are USB 2.0, motherboards with the front USB 3.0 header are still in the minority. When most of the motherboards on the market have a front USB 3.0 header as standard equipment, THEN most of the cases will have USB 3.0 ports on the front as standard.
This is a perfectly good mini-tower case and an absolute steal at the sub-$25 sale price.

4 out of 5 eggsOkay for the money

Pros: Cheap little case, small which is what I wanted. The quality is very low, the structural integrity will have to come from the MB and PS. It has an Antec fan that I hope will work well. Inside edges by Gillette the razor people.
It does have instructions with adequate screws and fasteners.

Cons: Skimpy little case, way thin metal, has dents and scratches that could only have come from the factory.

Other Thoughts: I really knew what I was buying when I got this for $20 and free shipping I didn't expect much and I got it. It will be perfect for people who just want small and inexpensive.

4 out of 5 eggsNot that bad

Pros: Cheap if caught on sale for $20( I have seen it on sale for that price at least 3 times in the last year). Standard size for a mini tower. Good clean looking face panel.

Cons: It has 2.0 USB ports in front panel but I knew that when I bought it. Light design but what you would expect for this price range(have seen worst). Not worth the retail price of $49.99 but good buy if on sale for $20.

Other Thoughts: This case is getting a lot of bad reviews and I don't know why other than those buying it don't understand what a mini-tower is or expect champagne for a beer price. You get what you pay for and I got this for $20 and that is a great price for this case. I had no problems putting in:
Asus H87 mATX mb
i3 4330 CPU
Corsair 550 PW
250 SSD
1TB western digital HD
550 Ti NVidia video card.

5 out of 5 eggsI just like it...

Pros: Sometimes you just like something and this is one of those items.

I looked it over when I bought it and knew exactly what I was getting and what I was going to use it for. It is light, doesn’t take up much space and is plenty solid for a $20 case. When I pushed on the sides there was no buckling and I didn’t notice any warping like another reviewer described. However, I bought it at a local retailer so it remains to be seen how the two I just ordered from NewEgg will hold up during shipping.

I had a board and CPU that I got for very cheap in a combo deal with the board having no front USB 3.0 header. So if you need front USB 3.0 don’t buy this case. If you need the latest cable management features don’t buy this case because it doesn’t have them. However, if you are aware of the features it has and doesn’t have this case should fit the bill.

I am extremely happy with the system I built with it. It uses very little power, doesn’t take up much space, you can barely hear it running, and it looks great. When paired with an SSD these little Pentiums are plenty quick too.
I added a blue 120mm LED fan to the side panel that matches the front HDD LED. No problems at all putting it together.
See “Other Thoughts” below.

Cons: None - It does a great job of providing what I signed up for

Other Thoughts: Case: Antec VSK-3000
PS : Lepa 350W F-1
CPU: Intel Pentium G3220 Haswell 54W
Mobo: Asus H81M-K SATA 6GB USB 3.0 (rear)
RAM: 8GB (2 x 4) G.Skill Ares 1600 MHz
HD1: Patriot Pyro 120GB SSD
HD2: HGST 500GB 2.5” 7200-32 Notebook Drive
