4 out of 5 eggsSolid case for it's price

Pros: Does what I want it to.
Looks slick.
Holds SSD with no additional bracket.

Cons: Inadequate packaging - second one purchased arrived with a damaged front panel.
Black plastic gets dusty quick.

Other Thoughts: I will continue to recommend these for 'cheap case' for a while methinks :)

3 out of 5 eggsThere are better options.

Pros: It will hold your hardware in place. Cheap. Looks ok.*

*See cons below

Cons: Its cheap, and it shows. Flimsy side panels, unpainted interior, bottom, and backside. Tear away rear I/O panels, only one is a screw on type.

I'm going to put this in the cons since its a case, and this is most definitely a con. Mine arrived with a nice, little dent in the top/side, that I couldn't pound out since it was right where the top meets the side. Luckily this computer is going waaay under a table, laying on its side in a business where it will never be moved or seen until something breaks.

Whether this is from rough handling at Newegg, the carrier, or whatever else is kind of irrelevant. Antec needs to expect these boxes to take some abuse and should take steps to better package and protect their cases. If this was a $200-$300 case being used in a high end display build it would have been RMA'd. Not sure if I would go with Antec cases again, given the poor packaging.

3 out of 5 eggsNice look but...

Pros: Great simple look
Very clean
Cheap

Cons: The width was too short for my CPU cooler and the led on the case is too bright. While on sleep mode the led flashes brightly, if this case were in a bedroom, I would suggest turning your system off or putting tape over the led.

3 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Price point although the VSK-4000 version can be purchased for a few dollars more.

Cons: This one did not have the Antec quality and features I have come to expect. But in fairness this is the lowest price point of Antec products I have ever purchased. After receiving this I found the VSK-4000 version which I would have order had I known it was available.

Other Thoughts: Would not purchase again but would purchase the next model up.

4 out of 5 eggsLooks Good, Works Well.

Pros: Has a place for mounting 2.5" SSD. Was a very pleasant surprise.
Quality cables inside.
Long cable on chassis fan.
Looks clean.
Low price.

Cons: Thin aluminum feels a little cheap....but it is cheap so...

Other Thoughts: This is a fine case for a simple PC. Not much to it, not much needed.

4 out of 5 eggsGood simple case for the money

Pros: Inexpensive no frills case which is what I wanted.
May seem flimsy to some but once all the fasteners for the panels and devices are tightened down it stiffens up nicely.

Cons: Was missing a lock down screw for the front panel USB board which cause the top front USB port to be pushed in when I first tried to plug something into it. Had to take the bezel off and find my own screw and washer. One star taken off for that.
Annoying metal punch out plates for the drives and cards. Common in cases in this price range so no star taken off for that.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: • Was reasonably priced.
• Decent-sized Micro-ATX case.
• Doesn't have a lot of obnoxious LEDs.
• Is reasonably easy to deal with.

Cons: • The side panels are thin and flimsy. The metal feels like it could get easily get warped or bent out of shape.

• There are some surprisingly sharp edges around the space for the power supply and the expansion slots. I got a nasty cut on my finger while putting in a card. One should be careful when inserting a power supply or expansion cards into this case.

• Some built-in cable management would be great but I made do with some zip ties.

• No speaker was included. Case speakers may seem outdated and irrelevant but they can be useful when trying to diagnose a system problem.

Other Thoughts: It's a basic, adequate case. The lack of ventilation options renders this case will leave anyone doing serious overclocking or gaming wanting for something better, but it's a worthy choice for a basic desktop machine. Just watch out for the sharp edges and be gentle with the side panels.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Nice Choice for a Less Flashy Case

Pros: Maybe you want to save some money by buying a modest case; maybe you prefer that your computer doesn't look like it does back-up vocals for Daft Punk. Either way, this case ditches form in order to bring us a simple, straightforward case that feels like it can last for the life of the computer at a price that will actually allow us to afford said computer in the first place.

Cons: If you're the one putting this computer together, take note:

Installing a drive into the auxiliary drive bay can be a little tricky, as the holding frame is recessed into the case a little bit -- you can see this in the pictures of the case's inside. Getting a screw into the screwhole can be difficult if you only have a screwdriver.

Also, there's no built-in cable loops or feeds to help with cable management. Expected for the price, but take it for what you will.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Great Price, well known manufacturer, and perfect size. The build quality is what is to be expected for this price of case, but that just means I can modify it without feeling bad about drilling into a better case.

This case also has a nice clean look to it as well, and the LED lights on the front are not so bright they are blinding like on other brands.

Cons: This case doesn't have A+ ventilation but rather C+. I was able to modify a 80mm fan on the side panel with ventilation and that helped a bit.

The case being made from galvanized steel is very sharp in a few places.

Other Thoughts: Very basic case, but it does the job well and is priced right.

5 out of 5 eggscheap, but cheap

Pros: Cheapest Antec case on Newegg. Simple, clean design. Both sides of case are removable

Holder for 1 SSD directly under HDD cage

Because it doesn't have holders for more HDDs, you can fit longer GPUs

Cons: Compared to other Antec cases I've used (Sonata, P280, Nine Hundred) it's very flimsy. I'd have no worries standing on a Sonata case; the VSK-3000 probably couldn't take it (how many people are going to stand on their case though?)

Included fan isn't the greatest (recommend purchasing two fans - replace the one it comes with - add the second to the front)

Other Thoughts: For a facebook/netflix machine for a friend build it's fine

The Blue Power LED is blinding - unplugged it after one night after friends complaint

5 stars because at this price it's a good case
