5 out of 5 eggsWorks as intended

Pros: It fits everything I needed to put in there and then some.
Has plenty of places where I can mount fans.

Cons: The clips inside that held the drive covers were easy to break, but it was my fault for not reading the manual. I had thought they were clips that could snap back like ram clips or something.

Other Thoughts: For the price, I honestly think this was a great purchase and I would totally recommend it.

1 out of 5 eggsNot so happy

Pros: I'd find those happy thoughts, but not in this post ANTEC.

Cons: What I'm REALLY not happy about, is that this case doesn't come with a 200mm fan, nor a slot for one.

Basically, the Spec's page is incorrect, as well as the pictures that accompany this product.

Other Thoughts: Extremely poor mistake from BOTH Newegg and ANTEC. I specifically wanted a case with a larger fan to help with airflow.

Either way I'm keeping the case, because I can't possibly think about returning fees, let alone paying ANTEC another dime of my money.

First and last time buyer, ANTEC. You suckered me once.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Lastime Buyer,

I think there has been a misunderstanding, I believe you ordered the Version 2 of the Eleven Hundred, which comes with 2x 120mm fans instead of 1x 200mm Fan.

If you have any further question please call us at 1-800-222-6832, we'll help you out the best we can.

Thank you,

Antec Support Team

4 out of 5 eggsA big case, with a surprising lack of space.

Pros: Very large, didn't expect it from price
Sleek and simple, just how I like it
Easy to remove side panel
Allocated space for wires
For basic rigs, the two fans built in will do nicely
excellent ventilation

Cons: Assembling in this behemoth was a nightmare
Everything just coming up too short, or the case design wouldn't allow me to extend a wire just enough, or the wire length used to run it through the allocated space made it near impossible to get this thing assembled, I know it has to do with my parts but even my SSD won't fit into the designated port and is currently laying at the bottom of the case like a piece of trash. Also, how do you make a HD mount, and SSD mount, Three expansion bays and only include two SATA cables, Very naughty antec.

Other Thoughts: I'm happy with the case, the pros do outweight the monstrous set up difficulties, and there really is no con in terms of functionality. Those 5 hours cussing and smoke breaks, really left their mark on me.

2 out of 5 eggsA Nightmare in a Box

Pros: Lots of room to work with
Nice cable management
Clean look

Cons: Plastic front panel
Not much protection/padding in the box
The only space for a liquid cooler is on the rear exhaust mount (eg. H80) and the back of the hard drive cage (eg H100)
Cheap, I guess u get what you pay for :P

Other Thoughts: I bought this case on the 28th of Dec 2013. When it arrived on my door step the box was damaged (not the best sign). When I opened the box it looked okay but when I took it out I heard rattling from within (great). So I discovered upon further inspection that a mere two pegs that held the front panel in survived shipping, the rest were what was rattling around inside the case shattered beyond belief. I had to RMA through newegg and they had no problem sending me a replacement. Oh it gets better. I just received the replacement but this time NONE of the pegs made it through shipping. Common guys just because there's no label that says "fragile" on the box doesn't mean you should throw the thing around and treat it like trash. I'm not even going to RMA this one, just going to send it back. Nice case but not worth the effort.

Not sure whos at fault for the damage whether it be newegg (doubtful) or the shipping company.

5 out of 5 eggsANTEC FInally gets it right

Pros: Tool-less drive bays - I love them no one wants to screw and unscrew stuff I hated having to take off both side panels to screw and unscrew drives.

Grommet-lined cable routing holes - Awsome Cable Management options though the rubber grommets are a bit of a pain since they come loose easily but they are necessary since the metal is sharp around the holes and they are easy to get them back in place after you are done putting all your cables through them.
Lastly and most importantly to me is the PSU intake & front air filters - DUST is the death of any computer it coats the heat sinks and components and then acts like insulation keeping the heat IN and not letting the heat sinks properly dissipate heat. The filters are easy to access and clean which will extend the life of your system dramatically.

Cons: Front panel connection (USB, Power SW ect) wires could be a little longer, Cable management rubber grommets are thin and flimsy they come loose as soon as you start putting a cable through them. These are both not deal breakers and not enough of an issue to take off any eggs.

Other Thoughts: FInally Air Filters that are easy to access and clean...I miss the Antec Darkfleet series of cases they had the right idea then where you could remove the air filters from the front of the case with out having to open up the case and unscrew the drive cages like you do with the Antec 902 cases

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: -Incredibly easy to route cables and install hardware
-A lot of room for extras
-Looks Good. Nothing weird or tacky
-Solid Construction
-Leaves room to upgrade to XL-ATX if needed.
-top fan LED can be turned off (was clashing with my Red cold cathodes)

Cons: -Heavy (might be a pro if you thought someone was going to steal your computer, and break their back trying to lift it)
-a couple design choices (see other thoughts)

Other Thoughts: Its hard to realize the difference that a well built case makes on thermals and overall noise reduction, until you upgrade from a standard, run-of-the-mill gaming mid-tower to this beast; everything is just... better, cooler and quieter. not to mention, this case looks sexy as all.

Having said that, there are a couple design choices that I would change:

1) the front air filter mesh can get sucked against the fans, making a horrible beehive noise from the friction. this forced me to cut the plastic handle on the air filter off with tin-snips, and install the air filter facing the opposite direction. This fixed the problem.

2) the window fan mounts would be better off having the plastic holder pins removed (or made out of something stronger). They snap off easily enough... too easy. The 2 rubber grommets alone work fine, as I put 2 fan-screws 1/3 of the way into opposite fan corners, and then pushed the top 2/3 of screws back into each grommet, which I'm assuming is correct installation, as it is seriously snug and without vibration, while allowing me to remove side fans quickly. But, those plastic pins/tips break too easily... maybe if they were rubber or something. :)
