5 out of 5 eggsGreat case for mid size build

Pros: this is a great mid size case. i have been using it for almost 2 years. The amount of fans you can put into it is great, i love that you can take out the bays, and that the screens on the front and side work so well with dust control. It has a very sleek design, If you are not into all the lights, most of them can be turned off. this is an amazing case for a medium sized build, I was able to fit a 7970 and h80i into it.

Cons: There are only a couple of things that i found to be cons with this case, the fact that the 3.0 port on the front takes up a 3.0 spot on the back of the motherboard is kind of redundant. Also the cable managment could be a little better in my opinion, but i also have a non modular psu. with this i still give it 5 eggs.

Other Thoughts: like i stated above i was able to fit an h80i as well as the 7970 into it, however that did involve some dremeling of the side fan clips.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case, good quality for low cost

Pros: Removable drive bays, tons of fans for great airflow, easy install.

Cons: nada

Other Thoughts: I would not reccomend this case if the motherboard you are installing has sata/usb ports parallel along the edges of the motherboard. I was unable to take advantage of the USB3.0 bus because where they connect to the motherboard, was too tightly against the drive bays,( the usb 3.0 connector is pretty thick) but luckily the same connector had a usb 2 prong on it as well. In other words, examine your motherboard, if the sata ports and usb 3.0 ports are on top of the mobo, you should be good

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: * Low noise
* Lots of fans, keeps it cool
* Adjustable fan speed switches
* Useful placement of front panel USB and audio ports

Runs very cool, very quiet. I've been buying antec cases for a while now, and this one is pretty good.

Cons: * The hard drive cages that have the fan in them are kind of a pain to deal with
* If you plan on having a lot of cords or hard drives, prepare for a battle, it gets kind of cramped!

As a side note, the front fans got kind of noisy when I filled the cages with all three of my drives. I'm not sure if this is because there's so much weight now or if it's something else. It's a sort of low level buzzing and I have sensitive ears.

These cons weren't really enough of a problem to dock an egg.

Other Thoughts: I think my top fan was supposed to have blue lights in them... and it has the holes to actually shine them out.... but there's no blue. Not a big deal. The fan works and that's all that matters to me!

2 out of 5 eggsGood Case, 1 dead fan

Pros: I had another build with this case and it worked fine for a very long time. I would suggest this for any entry level build.

Cons: Top fan on front panel is dead.

Other Thoughts: I would have rated 4 or 5 egg if the fan didn't come DOA

5 out of 5 eggsEpic

Pros: I've had this case for a few years now (about 2 iirc), everything is still holding strong. Fans still run perfect, no bearing issues or replacements needed. The build quality is unsurpassed, I couldn't have asked for a better case.

Cons: The cable ties could have been thought over more, that's about my only problem with this case (and I had to dig for that)

Other Thoughts: I'm about to build another computer and am buying a second one of these.

2 out of 5 eggsI have no idea what all the good reviews are about...

Pros: There are a lot of fans. There is a lot of space for mounting hard drives and optical drives.

Cons: I was extremely disappointed by this case in almost every aspect. I did little research and bought it almost solely off the number of positive reviews because I was in a hurry to build two additional systems. I'm writing this review to counter all of the positive nonsense here.

Let's start:
- Cable Management - This case has no cable management. For 100 dollars I've bought far superior cases with sufficient cable management options to almost entirely hide or tidy all cables. This case has none. It doesn't even include enough zip ties to move things out of the way. You don't have any holes to run cable behind the motherboard. You don't have any space above, below or on the right side of the case to run cables. Cable management is abysmal for the price.
- Hard Drive Cages - The hard drive cages, while adequately cooled, are extremely annoying in that there is about a 3/4 inch space between the drive and the outside of the cage requiring you to use a custom screw that is about 1" long. This means you have to save your custom screws. In addition, you are required to use the only two mounting holes they provide. If you are mounting a SSD in a 2.5 to 3.5" tray adapter this can (definitely did in my case) cause problems. Again... a miserable experience.
- Gigantic Top Fan - This is good and bad... provides a lot of cooling. Not a common size so it's hard to replace. What's worse... it's installed onto a piece that is then riveted so that you can't remove it and replace it if you wanted to. I would say that's a definite drawback.

Bottom line... I have cases from 10 and 15 years ago that were designed well and are still in use. This case will not still be in use. Initial build was completely miserable. These builds are going to somebody else and I will never purchase another one of these. The case that immediately comes to mind in this price range that is superior in every aspect is the Fractal R4.

Other Thoughts: So many people have given this case good reviews. How? I have seen newegg's reviews of a product be off before but not typically on this scale. Public opinion fail or off-shore review generation win.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for a first time builder

Pros: Has adequate cooling and is usb 3.0.

Cons: the giant fan at the top of the case poses a risk for things to spill in there(not that I would be so dumb to keep a drink next to it I'm talking about other people). Cable management takes some know how. Don't let this dissuade you these are just my opinions. Its a great case.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: Very quiet for the cooling capacity. By far the loudest fan on the system is the power supply fan (Corsair CX650). This is the third computer I've built, and I've used this case for two of them. The other computer required more fans for summer (no A.C.) and was much louder. Ample space for everything. They also were the fastest at providing the rebate. Excellent case and company.

Cons: None.

4 out of 5 eggsGood case, no PSU ventilation on the bottom

Pros: - Tons of airflow
- Solid build
- Easy component installation
- 2.5" solution included for distracted fools like me who didn't notice that there are no 2.5" bays in this.

Cons: - No PSU ventilation on the bottom of the case; had to mount my PSU upside-down with the fan/internals exposed to anything that might fall down the case.
- 2.5" bays are always a nice feature in a modern case

Other Thoughts: I'm not psyched that I had to mount my PSU fan-up as it seems like kind of a hazardous situation, but fortunately the case has the airflow to handle it. Since there are no ventilation holes on the bottom of the case, placing the PSU fan-down as it was meant to be was not possible.

And while I'm disappointed to discover that there are no 2.5" bays, that was a silly assumption on my part as the specs are clear. Antec was kind enough to provide a way to bottom-mount one 2.5" drive for people like me who don't read things.

5 out of 5 eggsI own 3 of these

Pros: Sturdy, roomy, good cooling, and fits a Fram CA6366 air filter with a little tape. My area is hot and dusty, so the holes in my PCs are taped up, front fans draw through filters and top and rear fans exhaust. The power supply is an issue, but my video cards stay cool and clean.

Cons: Wiring drives in the front carriages is awkward
