4 out of 5 eggsAwesome but not perfect

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: Great looking and very sturdy pc case. There is a slight color difference between the paint on plastic and metal but its not that noticeable unless you come very close and stair at it ( Not worth taking an egg off. ) although i will take an egg off for the reason of having a hard time putting back the top dust filter after installing my h105, I had to forced that sucka in there because of my h105's screw are in the way.

Cons: Had to force the top dust filter back on because there are no space between the filter and screw mounting hole, so your mounting screw are somewhat blocking the dust filter from sliding in. All mounting holes are inside the size of your filter, no matter where you mount it makes no diff.

4 out of 5 eggsAwsome case

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: Steel case, Lots of Space, Fans and control buttons light up, stays cool.

Cons: Cables are not marked well, so it is difficult for a first time builder to hook everything up, Heavy, motherboard can be somewhat challenging to hook up.

Other Thoughts: Case is still in perfect working order and looks amazing. Hooking up the fans was difficult, as it was my first time building, and I was not sure where to connect everything. Would have been nice if they were properly labeled. Connecting the motherboard was also a little more difficult to connect. It feels like the pins are off center by the slightest degree. All together its a great case. It looks amazeing, and once you have it hooked up, there are absolutely no flaws in it. I would have given it a full rateing, but I figured that a full rating would mean that its perfect. Would recommend to people looking for an EXTREAMLY large case.

4 out of 5 eggsCosmos CM Storm Stryker

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: I bought this to replace my old Cosmos 1000 case. It was awesome case, but was 6 years old at this point. The potential in this case is absolutely amazing! I like the white, mean, almost sports car look to it, and the side bulges are excellent for cable management and added space. It even has a cutout for your motherboard so you can access and change out your large CPU fans without having to remove the motherboard itself. Installation for the most part is relatively easy, and it comes with tons of room for extra fans and coolers! My Liqtech 240 radiator mounts so much better on this than the old 1000 case and seems to fit a little better (you do have to remove the 200mm fan at the top which is simple and also nice to have. The 9 drive bays offer so much potential for so many different kinds of drives to include SSD drives and so many different setups and ways to place them. The 3 dust covers are nice too. The handle is nice as well! When I carry this thing it just feels like a heavy Samsonite. When I carried my old Cosmos it felt like wielding around a heavy minigun. Too many words to go on about this case, but in a nutshell, a great future proofing design!

Cons: Also the fact that it's white, and looks like a sports car. I must say it doesn't have quite the sharp and refined look my old cosmos case has either. The build quality in comparison (as many other reviewers on here have stated) is also kind of here and there. While the removable HDD cases with the white LED fans are nice, and well designed, I had to hard wrench in my standoffs. A lot of cheap feeling plastic parts which seem to not be quite as good quality as the few plastic parts on my old case. Expect a lot more plastic on this one. The side window is nice and of surprisingly good quality, but the fan controller only works a little and is connected by a Molex as well as are the power LEDs...MOLEX!?! Oh well not the end of the world I suppose, but nevertheless surprising in this day and age. As many others have stated, the Users Manual isn't very thorough either.

Other Thoughts: Overall if you have big dreams for a really sweet build you cannot go wrong with this case! A great big case for a very reasonable price! ($80 cheaper than my old case)

5 out of 5 eggsLots of room

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: This case has ALOT of room inside of it. Removed the from bottom SSD/HD cases (with easy) and moved the SSD's upto the top bay area. Installed a nice water cooling system in the bottom of the case where the SSD's use to stay.

You should have no problems with space when it comes to this case as it can fit just about any size motherboard and room left over to spare.

The quality of the case so far has been top notice. Everything is easy to dismantel with thumb screws and very well / solid made.

Cons: Not a complaint but I do wish the top bazel area was made with aluminum instead of plastic. Other then that small improvement there really is nothing I would change with this case.

2 out of 5 eggsNO WAY

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: Everything But....... (see cons)

Cons: 2 STAR because my issue is a big deal.
The back card slots are not wide enough to use the displayport without grinding off about 1/8". Or you could just plug it in and have the connector grounded to the case. What a numbskull engineering mis-step. Oh I'm using the 780ti sc x3

Manufacturer Response:

Good Afternoon Jeffrey,

I apologize you're having issues with the CM Storm Stryker as this is odd as we have seen quad sli and fire in this case with reference and aftermarket GPU coolers. Can you provide an image of your set up through our CM Fanzone via Live Chat, Support Ticket, and Phones for further assistance.

Regards,
Felinni M.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: This case is fantastic! I upgraded from a mid tower case and boy am I glad I did! Lots of room for hard drives, lots of room for air to flow. Cable management options are extensive. Build quality is superb - no matter how many cables you stuff behind the back of the motherboard, the side panel slides on with ease and stays on. This was always a problem with my old case. Extra space there too, which helps.

This thing looks awesome. I mean it looks killer awesome. Seriously. Some reviewer was saying the color is slightly different between the front/sides.... it's not, I assure you. I've inspected it closely, and I can't see it at all.

Cons: The front panel/HDD activity lights don't work on mine. It's not enough of a problem for me so I'm not knocking an egg off, but it is worth mentioning.

Only other con is it's not a 3d sandwich printer.

4 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: Huge amount of space
Air circulation is outstanding

Cons: Unable to hook up the fan speed adjuster buttons to the motherboard. All the fans still work, though just fine.

Other Thoughts: Only 4 because the install instructions are garbage. If you have some savy or mechanical ingenuity you'll be ok.
