5 out of 5 eggsExactly what I wanted!

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: Bought this case to replace my main rig case. It has overall been a pleasure to work with. I have already put my full system in and have it running.

- Very spacious (Full tower duh)
- Handle provides relatively easy manipulation
- Plenty of cable management options
- Beastly Looks
- Modular design (Hard Drive and SSD Cages can be altered/removed)
- Built in fan controller is a nice touch
- Comes with four fans, two of which are LED and one of which is 200mm
- Quiet. The only fan I even hear is the top exhaust fan, which can be replaced by two quiet fans if you really need no sound in your life
- Dust filters everywhere, even some basic ones in each bay cover
- Super Awesome Secret Tool Compartment Yo!

Cons: Now, admittedly, there are certain things that I would consider cons. However, I bought this case knowing all of these flaws and didn't have any problem with these issues so I didn't knock off an egg. Plus, these particular cons don't personally bother me at all but they may to other people so I will include them.

- Slight (and I mean very slight) color difference between the plastic white and the metallic white. You really have to look for it though
- Wow is this thing heavy
- Side panel window is a little too big. It shows everything, meaning if you aren't willing to tidy up your cables, then it may look unappealing.
- Hard drive cages come with fans mounted on the side, not the front. To me, this makes little sense and is highly inefficient as the cool air only reaches the drives, not the rest of the system. Thankfully, the cages can be rotated so that the fans blow towards the motherboard (first thing I did when I got it). If you do decide to do this though, the back of the drives will be facing the mother board, causing all of your cables to be facing the motherboard as well. Taking the gigantic side panel into account, this can be a problem. With a little extra cable management though, this con can be easily rectified.

Other Thoughts: As a note, the handle is absolutely amazing. I don't plan on taking this case to LAN parties or anything but having a huge heavy case can be a burden. The handle makes the weight almost a non-issue.

Also as a note, I wouldn't recommend this case to people who don't have decent cable management practices.

5 out of 5 eggsJust awesome

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: - Space! So much space!
- Build quality
- Attention to detail
- Fan/LED controller

Cons: - Weight

Other Thoughts: Every time I build in one of these cases (this is my 5th now) I'm reminded how great this thing is. Both the black and the white (the white REALLY shines!).

I build on E-ATX motherboards and have NO problems with room. Especially with cable management behind the board. The way the case bulges out back there makes for SO much space. The interior is nice and roomy and makes for easy quality airflow.

The 4-to-3 internal HDD bays that come are slick, though I typically swap them out for external facing hot-swap drive racks. I usually steal the 120mm fan that comes with the case & put them on those racks though to keep a little light shining inside and they're quiet at 17dba!

Mounting a liquid cooler's radiator & fans up top never interferes with the mobo like in some cases, where the 8 pin CPU power cable can be a nightmare to connect if the case is too tight.

This thing is HEAVY! Especially once you get everything in it. While the handle is handy if you do need to move it around, lift with your legs... ;-) It is very much due to the quality of the case materials though, so I guess its a trade off.

There's dust filters top & bottom. I wouldn't hesitate the mount the fans for a liquid CPU cooler up top to blow air IN to the case and down on to the radiator as is an optional install method for those coolers.

More than enough room for any video card. You could go past 12" honestly.

5 out of 5 eggsHardcore gamer

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: If your a gamer get this, lots of room for cards like Titan X or 980 ti. Good air flow, looks good, alot of room. Filters dust, sterdy(hope I spelled that correctly) xD

Cons: Heavy as hell, if your one of those super weak video gamers than don't get this. You will have some trouble when the case is full. But luckly the handle is beast.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Case Ive Ever Had

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: Truly an awesome case to own. It is very well made with great cable routing. Fan control along with light controls. It goes perfect with my all white build.

Cons: Only thing I didn't like was the one feature they made with the pull out HD slots. I had to reposition them to face forward instead of out the side. Simply because the airflow from front to back is way more efficient for cooling a case. With the fans pointing from the side all it does is blow the hot air from the HD's into the side of the case, disrupting the airflow going out through back and top of the case. I don't feel this is enough to knock down an egg point, simply because its an easy fix.

Other Thoughts: CM Storm Stryker is a great case to own, anyone that was a fan of the Storm Trooper you will love this.

5 out of 5 eggsQuality Case

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: Roomy interior- plenty of space for nearly any size gpu and other accessories.

Plenty of fans- 2 120mm front/side fans, 1 140mm rear exhaust fan, and a 200mm top fan. Room for 2 additional 120mm bottom fans.

Dust filters- keeps components clean for the most part. I would recommend using a positive pressure fan setup with this case.

Fan controller- pretty basic 5 speed fan controller, gets the job done. Can control up to 5 fans.

Large window

Well ventilated

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I've owned this case for just over a year and I have to say that I am still completely happy with my choice. I would highly recommend changing the default side fan setup to a front fan setup. It's really easy to do requiring the removal of a few thumb screws and re-positioning of hd cages. Switching the fans to the front allows airflow to reach rear components where as the default setup only cools hds before promptly exiting the other side. I would also recommend installing two bottom fans. I recently did this and instantly noticed a 10 degrees C drop in gpu temp while gaming. If you plan on installing a liquid cpu cooler you could install it on the bottom of the case though most likely the coolant tubes wont be long enough. In which case you would need to remove the 200mm top fan and replace it with the radiator as I did. Overall a great case.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: -solid construction
-great cooling options
-easy to work with
-toolbox on board
-great assortment of hardware came with it
-attractive cabinet
-huge cable management area

Cons: -Red power LED
-heavy

Other Thoughts: I loved building in this case. It was easy to run cables with lots of tie down options, it's build very solidly, and the handle has no problems supporting the loaded case. It's heavy, and the red LED on the white case is annoying for me personally

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case with terrible documentation

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: Bought this case as the basis for a long overdue upgrade. I loved the sleek white color of the case and it seemed very spacious from all the videos that I had looked at before purchasing.

The case is very sturdy and extremely roomy inside. No problems with mounting any size motherboard or video card and there are a number of drive bays as well. There are plenty of tie-down locations on the back side of the case making cable management a snap. Make sure to open the bottom flap on the case to get all of your included nuts, bolts and other fasteners that are included. I missed it at first but soon located it again after watching a couple of videos

Cons: While the case construction is fantastic, the documentation that comes with it is horrible. It is very basic and includes instructions for items that are not even in this model. I have no eSATA hookup in this case, but there are instructions for it. Also gives you no clue that the Black Molex connector is the Power LED hookup. Was perplexed by that for a good 20 minutes.

Also busted a standoff while placing it in one of the mounting holes as they are very snug and trying to tighten them can lead to an inadvertent snap.

I do wish the top fan was illuminated but that is a more of a personal cosmetic thing than anything else.

Not sure why they did not add rubber grommets for all crossing points in the case. Would have made for even more efficient cable management, but a minor issue at best.

Lastly was the USB 3.0 Front Panel connector. It does not come with a retention clip and therefore, does not lock into the slot on a motherboard. So it can slide out very easy while performing other cable management.

Other Thoughts: The case itself is a great investment for any gamer that is looking for spacious design along with some style. Just make sure to watch any of the videos out there dealing with the case as the included instructions will not help you in any way at all.

5 out of 5 eggsnice

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: lots of room. well made. good potential for airflow.

Cons: silent fans dont cut it in Louisiana.

Other Thoughts: this is a good case, and has decent airflow stock, but as stated in cons the silent 120mm fans dont cut it in Louisiana. no biggie I just swapped them for deltas, and problem solved. paired this with a h100I and fx8350, and a 8gb r9 390x. 32gb AMD radeon ddr3 2400. was idling at 45c before I changed the 120mm fans for deltas, but after the swap down to 39c idle and thats in a hot unairconditioned room down in southern Louisiana. overall a good case, just wish it had the option to come stock with deltas to save the trouble of swapping fans out. highly recommended.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Marble Monolith

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: Spacious inside, enough room for the biggest of video cards. Beautiful clean design. Enough room on the solid side with enough pass throughs to hide all your wiring.

Cons: It's huge. The stock fans that come with it don't seem to push a lot of air.
