5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: I've had this just over a year, and i'm loving the case.
Huge, it has tons of space, which makes it so much easier to route cables, etc. Especially if you have big ol' hands like me. And I never worry that I won't be able to fit that big GPU or CPU cooler. I have a coolermaster V8, and XFire Radeons in this case, and there's still a ton of space.

It has lots of cable routing spots that help keep everything looking clean and avoid having wires flopping around smacking mobo components.

SOOOO Much cooling. I opened the side panel the other day, and there's just gobs of air moving through this thing. I just ordered some new fans for the top, so it should be pretty sweet.

Cons: I really would have liked if they put the extra fan in the top slot. Seems kinda dumb to just have an open fan slot, would at least like a block off piece so it doesn't end up sucking air in right next to the exhaust fan on top, but fans are cheap, so it wasn't a big deal, just putting one in.

Other Thoughts: This thing is massive. It came with casters, which I didn't put on, for looks. If you're going to move it around with any real frequency, put the casters on, this thing is huge and awkward to move, and it doesn't have the greatest grab points.

This case was for my first build, and I think it made it a lot easier having so much room to work, I've been very happy with the case. It has a couple minor drawbacks, but they're all easily solved (i.e. put in a 15 dollar fan in the last fan slot). I think its utility and ease of construction is well worth the weight of the thing. I don't see myself outgrowing this case anytime soon. Will probably be using it through several more upgrades/builds.

5 out of 5 eggsLooks Great... Moves Air!

Pros: Case moves air really well. I have 3 200mm fans. I was running CoreTemp the other day and my quad-core on a hefty load was sitting at 15 celcius... I thought this was an error but after checking my fan controller it was right.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: Better get a high end power supply with long cables for such a monster case.

4 out of 5 eggsFront USB connectors are upside down! :-(

Pros: This case is one of my favorites of all the Cooler Master cases and it has worked well... *except*... read the CONS below!

Cons: By far, the one flaw with this case is that the front panel USB connectors are all UPSIDE DOWN!! I have so many USB accessories that I use on the front panel like Skype USB headphones and USB memory that I need to see the top of (indicator lights and such), but this case forces you to insert them upside down! There is no way to re-orient the USB plugs on the custom back plane they are connected to, so it's a mystery why Cooler Master did this! Bad design decision on this! :-(

5 out of 5 eggsbeast

Pros: this case is an absolute beast. cooler master really impressed me with this case. i went ahead and bought two more fans to go in this thing and you can barely tell its on. i never thought i would go with a case this big but im glad i did. working on my pc was usually a hassle but this case gives me a ton of room to work with. im a loyal cooler master fan now.

Cons: didnt understand why they left out the other top fan.. should be included.

5 out of 5 eggsSimply Amazing!

Pros: Great cooling
Easy setup and installation of almost everything
Plenty of internal space for upgrades
Sturdy build
Windowed side panel
HUGE!!!

Cons: *It was a pain to install my cooler master heatsink on my CPU. The rear MOBO cutout was off by about 1/8" and I actually had to unscrew my MOBO from the case to install the CPU back plate. It's a minor gripe and if I tried to install it earlier in the build I wouldn't have had this problem.
*The case only came with one top 200mm fan and a vacant spot for another. I don't understand why Cooler Master couldn't include this fan.
*Very industrial looking. Not the sexiest case on the block.

Other Thoughts: I am extremely happy with this case. This was my first ground up build and I would absolutely buy from Cooler Master again and recommend this case to my friends. I have only minor gripes compared to all the things I love about this case.

5 out of 5 eggsbig

Pros: its big i mean really big but thats exactly what i needed and its amazing
cable hiding is easy trays of all kinds work well and feel solid when removing/placing
fans are a bit slower than i would like but they are big so its a trade off that i dont mind

Cons: some of the covers on the inside i couldnt use because of my cards but thats not a con really as much as me having alot inside at once
and this is getting really picky but the side panels are annoying to get on and off until you get use to it

Other Thoughts: overall a beautiful case in both looks and usability
and i didnt want to list this as a con but it would be advised to have long cable on your PSU but it accommodates alot of MBs so its understandable

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: This case was amazing from the time I opened the product. The case weighs probably around 40lbs. The wire management you can do with the case is really neat. Everything worked out well and it keeps the computer at great tempatures. Summer time is coming and I needed something that didn't help cook my CPU and GPU.

Cons: Does not come with second 200mm fan for the top. No reason why since it would of been nice to have. You have to order the fan separately...

Other Thoughts: Coolmaster HAF X Case

1 out of 5 eggsGood case, worthless support

Pros: Lots of room, nice cooling options

Cons: While the case is nice, the top 200 mm fan was off balance and when plugged into the motherboard caused the case to wobble which in turned caused the table on which I use it to wobble and my monitors to wobble as well. I put in a request to have the fan replaced under warranty with Cooler Master. I was told that my request for the part replacement was denied and to put in an RMA request. I tried to do so and the serial number was rejected. I do not care how good the product quality is, if I get worthless support like this I have nothing good to say and I will not be purchasing anything else from Cooler Master.

Other Thoughts: If they got their act together with support instead of making me jump through hoops to get a simple fan replaced, I would have given this five stars.
