5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good looking case, stylish without being tacky.

Lots of room for fans, can support 10 total. Can also support 240mm radiators for you liquid cooling fans.

Pretty big for a mid tower.

Has room behind the motherboard tray for cable management.

Good overall build quality.

Cons: Side panels are a little flimsy but too bad.

The case could be just a bit wider to give more room for hiding cables.

4 out of 5 eggsGood overall case

Pros: Tons of room to work with and tons of fans. keeps cool easily.

Cons: Had to remove some of the internal hard drive bays to make room for my beastly video card. A minor inconvenience because it was hard to understand from the instructions had to do this.

Other Thoughts: Would recommend this case to others.

4 out of 5 eggsFirst PC Build Of 2013

Pros: This case is flat out amazing.. It has everything you could want from a cane and then some.. large and spacious, plenty of room between back panel and motherboard bracket for cable management not to mention the holes with rubber grommets on them.. plenty of stock cooling with lots of room to expand.. its just an amazing case and would recommend it to anybody

Cons: to think of there are only two.. the paint (which I am almost certain is a powder coat on the outside ) well it chips sort of easy.. so i had to dock one egg. there are two ways around this.. first take the time to tape off the plastic pieces of the case and spray it with a clear coat of acrylic paint.. and or just be super careful with the side panels.. and the second con.. the version i received does not have USB 3 but not such a big deal..

Other Thoughts: overall it is an amazing case i love it..

3 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Everything else

Cons: Dust-control filters for all meshed areas, my case didn't come with all of them i am missing about 2.

I would of prefer more space on the secondary removable panel which is behind the motherboard. To many wires going through the back and makes it hard to close the back.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Bob,

We are sorry to hear about the missing dust control filters on your 690 II. If you would please contact us through our Live Chat or Support Page we would be happy to rectify the situation by sending you the parts you require.

Respectfully,

CMUSA Support

5 out of 5 eggsLove it

Pros: The cable management in this case is awesome. The case is roomy with plenty of drive bays and mounts for extra fans and liquid coolers.

Cons: The only con might be the size of the case. I was surprised how big it is. I have an Antec Nine Hundred that I thought was really big, but this one is just a little bigger. It also might be nice to have window on the side of the case.

Other Thoughts: The case as a whole is great, but what really stands out for me is the cable management. When I finished installing the hardware, the inside of the case looked so clean and neat, which also has to help with the airflow and cooling. I built this computer for my wife, and when I finished I looked inside my computer (Antec Nine Hundred case). Now I am going to have see if I can clean up the cable mess in that case that I thought I had done such a good job on.

5 out of 5 eggsSleek, practical case

Pros: *Spacey mid-tower case, with plenty of connectors, ports, and easy to use mounts, slide-outs, fan spots and more
*Nice blue accent and minimal, sleek design
*Top connectors and buttons, along with hard drive bay, were a great idea

Cons: *A pretty big mid-tower case

Other Thoughts: I love this case. Everything about it made the build easier. I recommend this and all of the rest of CM's cases to everyone I know.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case With One Problem

Pros: The case is very roomy, features several places to install 120mm fans, has plenty of drive bays, and so on. Cable management on the back side of the motherboard is decent (or at least average.)

Cons: Every time I touch the case with a little static electricity built up in me (which happens during winter with such dry air and plenty of carpeting to walk on) it causes my computer to reboot. This seems to be a known issue with this case.

The drive bays slide out (a plus) but the rubber that goes on the pegs to keep the drives in their respective trays always seems to come off. It's tool-less, but it seems like it would be less of a hassle to just use a screwdriver.

Other Thoughts: Loved the case... until the static discharge problem.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: Easy to fit everything in.
Option to remove lower HDD bays to make more room/airflow.
Plenty of places for fans.
Can hold 240x120MM radiator like H100 in top or bottom.
Many places for 140mm fans.
Most of the fan slots hold 140, 120 or 80.
Some of the fan areas have a dust filter thing. Not sure how effective it is, but it's there, and it fills up with dust.

Cons: Hard to fit H100 in top of case with certain motherboards
No USB 3.0, but you can buy a top panel with it from the CM Store ~18+shipping.
Transparent side panel no longer available.
