4 out of 5 eggsmore PSU woes

Pros: Nice little case, room to work; HDs mount sideways with spring buttons towards case front so only two screws needed for each, easily accessible with teh one case side off

Cons: Adding my voice to the chorus of PSU complaints, the "Thermal Master" PSU simply didn't work, costing me a lot of time because I thought it was the mobo at fault. (Fans would spin up, lights would light, but Power Good never came true, so the POST would not happen.) Of course, now it's out of the return period as well...

Other Thoughts: A little pricier than I would like given the PSU issue -- I'll have to replace that now.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome Little Case!!

Pros: * Comes with a good 420W PSU - have used these for several LGA 775 builds and now 1155's.
* Looks amazing with Blue LED 120mm Fans in the Back, side and front...especially through the front grill.
* Never had a problem with any of the PSU's that came with the several of these I've purchased!!

Cons: * Does not have a PCI-e Power Connector - remember this when ordering!
* I want to say this is the outgoing model for Coolermaster at the end of 2011, and the 430 is replacing it - shame!
* Doesn't come with a side window, and the ones that do don't always come or never have came in a good color offering (usually orange??)
* Hard Drive requires a 90-degree SATA Power Connector, so you have to buy an adaptor to make it work with the provided PSU wiring...otherwise the case panel hits the connectors on the backside when closing the case
* Only comes with one rear Fan.
* Coolermaster should offer the side case clear window panels as an optional purchase on their site, but don't!!
* If you mount a DVD-RW in the top position, the SATA Power Wiring can't reach both the hard drive and the DVD-RW, my solution on this one was to buy a molex to sata power connector adaptor!
* No vibration isolator for hard drives - case tends to be a little noisy from loud hard drives like caviar blacks

Other Thoughts: Con's Cont:
...No tool-less bays...not really a con, but you have to take off the front face plate and remove the front fan or work between the fan blades to remove the drive screws for the hard drives.
...Front Panel Spare Bay Covers - they slip off sometimes on a couple of the cases I've bought, not sure why this happens on some of these, like a fitment issue.

Overall they are great looking cases, you just have to get past the minor stuff. And the ones with the side case window panels, they look amazing!!!

Last note: Painting the Thumbscrews and rear case top 3 rivets black really adds more to this case!!

5 out of 5 eggsClassy and Professional

Pros: Low to Mid cost
Easy to work with
Solid construction
Looks very good in an office setting, without being too "gamerish"

Cons: power supply only has a single power cable with two sata leads on it. If you put a hard drive in the 3.5 bay and dvd in the top bay, the sata cable won't reach to both, requiring an additional sata dongle.
Cut my finger on an internal edge.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat budget case

Pros: Cheap
Durable
Looks decent
lots of room (basic build)
Front panel snaps on and off firmly

Cons: for the price, nothing

Other Thoughts: cable management is iffy and gaps around 3.5" drive faceplate

4 out of 5 eggsNice Case - Poor Power Supply

Pros: It looks good without being ridiculously flashy, it's nice and wide open, it came in mint condition. I always do builds for friends parents around this time of year so they aren't stuck with garbage from a name brand company and this case is close to good with one major flaw.

Cons: My problem is with the PSU. The SATA power were so close together the you couldn't have a CD-ROM in the top of the case with an HDD in the middle of the case. The cable wouldn't stretch. And since the PSU is weaker than most I'm stuck trying to find a cable for SATA that works with the 4-PIN connectors. Since I haven't built this low of an end computer I don't have any and am stuck waiting for another store to come through. Not cool. But overall the value is there so no point in taking away more than an egg.

Other Thoughts: I would buy this again now knowing it's limitations.

5 out of 5 eggsMy Bad!

Pros: Posted a review for this case when I intended on posting for the similar Orange colored model. They're basically the same case but I hope I don't run into the same issues with these blue ones that I re-ordered.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case...POOR packaging

Pros: Very roomy case. Feels pretty solid and very lightweight compared to others I own. Powersupply is adequate and has 4 total SATA connections which is sufficient for a basic setup. I purchased 5 of these for a local business that I support and they think these cases are the coolest things they've ever seen. I have to admit they do look pretty nice. They are a bit of a dust and fingerprint magnet on the front plastic bits but it's nothing a quick wipe with a swiffer can't fix.

Cons: Really poor packaging. Whoever thought of packing these with the front facing up should be beat up as much as 2 of the 5 cases I ordered were. One had the entire front smashed and hanging off when I opened the box. The other was no longer square and would wobble when sat on a flat surface. I just can't believe they put the weakest part of the case facing right up so that whatever shipping company delivers it can stack whatever they feel like on top of it and crush it. Thankfully NewEgg understands these things and quickly RMA'd them and refunded my money. One egg lost for the hassle of returning and re-ordering.

Other Thoughts: Sadly I had to re-order 2 of the blue colored model with the 420w ps because they were out of orange.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth $50 without PSU

Pros: Sleek and attractive design. Not gaudy, nice case for media center build. Good layout inside, love the 3.5 drive bay layout.

Cons: Like all the other reviews, the Sata power connectors are somewhat lacking. A $3 molex to Sata power adapter is an easy fix to a poorly designed PSU. Trash the PSU and pick your own if you like, the price is still good for the case a la carte.

Other Thoughts: With a name like coolermaster, one would almost expect their case to come with more than one 120mm fan.....but I digress.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Factoring in the price, really nice case. Nothing flashy or distracting.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: PSU probably isn't the highest quality, but if you're not looking to overclock or play games, should be fine.
Works fine on build with no video card, AMD Athlong 640.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case and PSU for the Price

Pros: One of the best cases and PSUs I've ever bought for $50 w/ shipping.
Solid, doesn't bend and flex as much as the cheaper models.
Looks very nice.

Cons: It has 2 SATA power connections, but they're in series. This makes it impossible to connect to both the DVD drive and the HDD. Had to use a SATA power adapter.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely buy this again.
