4 out of 5 eggsGood case, minor issues

Pros: Lets be clear, I want to rate this 4.5 stars.

It's a very good quality case especially for the price. The guts from a CM Stacker 810 went into this. The exterior quality is very nice.

Cons: Breakaway expansion covers... meh whatever.

My only major issue is cable management, why have cutouts if you can't use them.

I had to ditch my CM 850w PS for a modular unit because there's just not enough room to do things right.

Other Thoughts: Overall this is the best budget case I've ever seen.

Running a Striker II Extreme (775) & 2x GTS 8000 cards, everything seems fine now that I've got the modular. Cable management was a nightmare before.

If you want a high end case, the HAF series is amazing (I've got an X built up that replaced the PC this one got built with). If you want a good case for under 50 bucks, this is it. Amazing... almost :)

4 out of 5 eggsmust buy

Pros: mid size case. you can get a 9 in graphic card in this case.
I love the fact this is not a screwless case. must use screws. power supply is at the top of the case. the power light will light up the case at night - it looks cool.

Cons: side door panel the clear plastic is not mounted in a steady way. don't install a front fan, there is major air flow issues. the inside of the case in not painted.

Other Thoughts: I have fallen in love with cool master cases this year. they are made out of high quality metal for the price. they are also very low price for features you get.every case has its down sides. The question is how much money do you want to spend on a case. we spent under 40 dollars for this case. overall I love the case.
we also have a gaming case by thermaltake. I spent alot of money on this gaming case. we are having to clean the dust out of it on a monthly basics because of too many fans. sometimes basic and simple wins out.
this case is a real winner if you are not using high end graphics or water cooling.
sometimes basic and simple wins out.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the money

Pros: Tons of room, cheap, looks nice.

Cons: Front panel doesn't come off easy. No removable hard drive cage. Inside edges are sharp.

Other Thoughts: Mine came with a broken case fan. Not a real big deal, they are cheap. Inside edges are sharp, I somehow cut my finger open installing my hard drive.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks great, has a lot of room, and it's a Cooler Master. (1) 120mm fan in the rear of the computer. Nice sleek look to the front.

Cons: The usb ports on the front panel seems wobbly and a bit weak. It hasn't failed on me yet so that's good. The top of my case gets pretty hot from the OCZ 550w running, but it's probably due to my desk so no eggs off because of it.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend adding an additional 120mm fan to either the side or the front next to the hard drive cage.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Case.

Pros: This Case is excelent for the budget build, and even if you're looking to spend a lot of money.

No sharp edges in mine (purchased over a year ago for a friends system.

was one of the easiest installations i have ever had the pleasure of dealing with (and i have assembled a ton of computers.

Cons: None, Great Case, Great price, Great Quality.

Other Thoughts: Buy it, it's definately worth the money, heck probably worth more. It would be nice with a black interior like the Elite 430 tho.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: First computer build. great price. Plenty of room, comes with lots of screws, both sides of the case are removeable.

Cons: yes you can cut yourself on the inside... the front fascia does not block out all light where it touches the main chassis. I could only put my WD black hard drive in one way, so i could not hide the wires... Only the outside is painted black, and there is overspray

Other Thoughts: The expansion shots break off and cannot be replaced. although how often do you actually remove a card?

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice case. Great Value.

Pros: I've used about 50 of these cases if you count all the different colors (red, orange, grey, blue, and others) and I love it. It's very easy for a builder to work with. A nice quiet 120mm fan is installed and the contructions is typical of a Coolermaster; good quality. Lots of screws including longer fan screws if you decide to mount a 120mm fan on the front. Also room for several different sized fans on the side if you have a hardcore video card that needs some additional cooling.

Cons: Honestly, I can't think of even one. Some glossy cases like this tend to scratch easier. This one is pretty scratch resistant for have the glossy cover though. Still, you'll want to be careful. Also, the glossy finish tends to show dust/fingerprints rather easily.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Case

Pros: VERY SPACIOUS!!! Up to three fans. Case comes with a plethora of screws/mobo standoffs. USB ports work on front panel. SIDE WINDOW IS AWESOME!!! Sweet front panel. Hard drives are easy to swap out.

Cons: The expansion slot covers are one time use. Up to three fans (read below). The front fan pulls air through some metal mesh in the front. The mesh looks sweet, but gets dusty because of airflow. The internal 3.5" bays are just long enough for the hard drives, so cables have to be squished between hdd and side of case.

Other Thoughts: There are only three places for fans. If you are building a gaming rig, this might not be enough airflow. Otherwise, it is great! The side window is very nice, but lack of space for cable management means that you will see most of your wires all over the place. Case construction is nice, love the overall look. Great case! A++

4 out of 5 eggsSlick Budget Case

Pros: There's a lot to like about the Elite 310.

It's attractively/tastefully styled and has lots of room for large video cards. Cooling is a fairly strong suit, with provisions for front, rear and side 120mm fans. Despite the light-gauge steel, this case is still a quality product that's quite sturdy despite the low weight.

Long video cards fit well - I've installed a HD4850 with a HUGE aftermarket cooler (Scythe Musashi) on it and it still clears the drive cages without modification, if only barely.

Cons: Some of the details are a bit cheap, though this is to be expected for under 40 bones. Most notably, the expansion slot covers are of the breakaway/non-replaceable variety and the steel used is a bit light.

The right side panel may be removable, but there's only one small hole for routing cables to the top of the motherboard from behind the tray.

The front panel has mesh to allow your intake fan to pull air, but it's very restrictive.

Other Thoughts: This is a super case for a budget build.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best 40 dollar case on Newegg!

Pros: Everything was easy to install. This case looks great! The pics do not do it justice... Not what you'd expect for 40 bucks.

Cons: Zero.

Other Thoughts: I've built many computers in my life, and I'd have to say this is one of the best mid-tower cases I've ever seen at this price.
