Rosewill RSL-120 33' Solar Decorative String Lights, 100pcs White LED, White Cable

Pros: the light is very easy to set up. I clamped it on my deck with the L bracket and back support that come with it. So far it's sturdy. I have it charged for the day before i set it up at sunset. I stapled the string along the deck guardrail. It is bright enough to light up my deck but not so bright that will bother my neighbor. compare to the other ones I bought from Target ($15 for 50 pcs string lights), it is 5x brighter. it has different mode settings. I am happen with it but there are flaws.

Cons: I agreed to other reviewers that the mode setting can be annoying cos after I set it up I thought it was on steady mode until my wife told it was blinking then I realized it was on slow blink mode. I dont even remember how many times i press the mode buttons to get to steady mode.
it feels cheap but for $20 I dont complain. But the real problem with the string light is that there is solder on the wires. YES. I mean they soldered 2 section of string lights together. I suspect either my set was made short during the production and they have to cut another set and solder them together; or someone broken the wires and the manufacturer is too cheap to replace that section of wires and just soldered them back together. I notice that when i staple the light on my deck and I saw it. even worst they didnt cover the solder part so it could have short the circuit. I have to use electrical tape to tape them up and separate the 2 wires, and hide it under the guardrail. and I ask myself "seriously? that cheap?!"

Other Thoughts: I could have returned it but I figure the lights is working fine. I want to buy another set cos i want to set on up outside my garage too. but I really have 2nd thought. I took a picture of the solder part but too bad newegg dont allow me to post pix otherwise it will be good for other newegger to see before they take their chance.

Pros: I bought two of these for Christmas lighting. They are reasonable for the price and have the right amount of panel size, brightness and battery life. The auto on/off is convenient, and the light goes off when minimal power is left--I don't think it flickers like cheap solar LEDs do.

Cons: After a couple weeks one of my strands stopped being able to lighting cycles (stuck on the variety cycle), so i was out the money for shipping to get a replacement.

The lighting cycles are mostly useless or even annoying--the default should be 100% on, but it's not.

The color is a very cold blue white, so it definitely won't match incandescents. I wish newegg made a warm white led version of these.

Pros: Bought them because they were marked down on sale, down to $20!
Batteries came fully charged, so once you covered up the panel with a piece of cardboard the lights would come on.
Had to keep pressing the mode button to find the mode I wanted, which was to just stay on without any blinking.
I attached the posts to the back of the panel and taped it to my fence posts and strung the LEDs down my fence, works good so far!
LEDs are bright enough to illuminate things next to my fence, but not so bright that it would blind any one at night.

Cons: Gives you a feeling of a cheap product, instructions are rather lacking, I wouldn't pay the suggest price of $50.
I need more of these to finish of my fence, but I will only buy when they are marked down.

Other Thoughts: Newegg has three of these from Rosewill online, reading the reviews from all three gives you a sense of, if you buy it, you hope you are lucky to get a good product, because a lot of people claim to get bad units.

Pros: This is a great buy

Cons: none

Pros: Solar powered so no cards out to where it is ran on the corner of the fence. Multifunction the kids love playing with the settings. I am looking at getting another string for the back of the fence. Lights are visible from all around not just one angle.

Cons: Wont run for long on cloudy days.

Other Thoughts: Don't know about the run times it list.
