Pros: -price
-seems well built and fairly accurate
-heat range isn't as broad as some others but at this price its awesome

Other Thoughts: I'm happy I got this thing for the price I paid. I don't use it often so I didn't need to spend a ton of money to get the best one in existence. I mostly use it for checking small things like my computer temps (had a chipset overheating on me once and it helped being able to show the manufacturer the temps) and some very light duty home/auto work.

Pros: This has probably been one of the best purchases I've made. Use it all the time around the house for cooking and with various projects to see if things are overheating and such. Nice tool to have on hand.

Cons: None that I can think of at present.

Pros: Feels well built. Seems fairly accurate. Priced right.

Other Thoughts: Good for spot checks of heatsinks, freezers, ovens, faucet temps.

Pros: This infrared thermometer is better than one I bought from Harbor Freight. It is more compact and accurate. And also less expensive.

Cons: Range is limited to 500°C.

Other Thoughts: I haven't had a chance to thoroughly check the calibration yet.

Pros: Fun, very useful and accurate

Cons: Hurts your eyes after extended use (20min)

Pros: Good to have and easy to use.

Cons: The laser is supposed to calibrated at a set distance for the IR read zone, but is not properly aligned for the unit I received.

Other Thoughts: The Laser is Low and to the Right of my actual read zone on my unit.

Pros: Does exactly what I needed it to do. Switches automatically from my Roku to Blu-ray as soon as I power on the Blu-ray. No need to push the button. Picture seems fine to me.

Cons: None so far!

Other Thoughts: 10 business days from order to delivery.

Pros: *I do not own this specific model but please know a little chemistry or something when you are using it for that purpose.. see other notes.

Other Thoughts: Some people complain about boiling water temps.. Well lets look:
*H20 @ STP (Standard Temperature and Pressure) boils @ 100 C (When water reaches atmospheric pressure). I have made water boil at way less then 100C,.. by lowering the pressure, same effect comes from a pressure cooker by cooking food at a higher temp by increasing pressure..
**IF your not at STP, say your at a higher elevation then 1atm, water is going to boil at a lower temp (why on the back of food will say to boil something for longer if at so so elevation or higher..).
**Also I am assuming your taking the temp (average speed of the molecules) of the pot of "boiling" water, well around 100C the water is going to have enough entropy to go into the gaseous phase and become water vapor.. If it is still in the pot, obviously it has not reached a great enough state of energy to escape..

Chemistry is fun.. just know what your doing before you bash on it.

Pros: worked well when I was using it. Pryce was great.

Cons: switch for turning device on died. otherwise, it worked great.

Other Thoughts: in the middle of testing a head temp of an engine of mine I was breaking in($400 rc engine) even sporadically not working assumed it was a bad battery. it worked so well I figured I'd buy decent batteries. it set me back a day of breaking in...I did determine the switch failing.
