4 out of 5 eggsCool and quiet

Pros: Very good RPM while staying very quiet. I have 2 mounted as intakes on the side of a Corsiar 400r and they work perfectly. The cable length is great.

Cons: The screws are barrel style and don't play well with rubber grommets, plus they're a little on the short side. Also, the edges are very sharp and I wound up bleeding all over one of them. Not sure if this is the norm or I was the millionth customer.

Other Thoughts: Overall a great quality fan but I'd recommend buying different screws.

5 out of 5 eggsQuite Fan That Moves Air

Pros: This is a fan that moves a good amount of air while being quite. Thumbs Up!!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: My old fan sounded like a leaf blower. Yeah it could move the air too, but the noise was too much. The difference is night and day.

5 out of 5 eggsGood and Quiet

Pros: Installed 2 of these in my Antec case and am very happy. They are relatively quiet and provide good air flow, even better than stock Antec fans that came with the case.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Very happy with my first DIY desktop - Many thanks to Newegg for their great prices, helpful reviews, and excellent DIY videos!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quieter than I expected. The adapters they came with were nice.

Cons: Not as much force as I anticipated. This could very well be due to my own lack of knowledge. I'll research further to see if I can increase the power. No eggs deducted for my own ineptitude.

Other Thoughts: Overall a good purchase. If I fail at increasing the power of these fans, they maybe it's worth an egg deduction. Only if it's not my fault, of course. :)

5 out of 5 eggsVery quite

Pros: Pushes ALOT of air out, especially for how quite it is.

Cons: Has a big ugly sticker on one side, if you remove it, it's got a big ugly red bearing underneath it. I was using it as one of my case fans and could see this from the outside so I was slightly disappointed. Other than that, great fan though!

3 out of 5 eggsOkay

Pros: Works fine.

Cons: Not much airflow

Other Thoughts: I purchased this thinking that "slipstream" was a type of low-profile fan. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. It is definitely not low-profile. It doesn't fit in the side of my case.
The fan works alright, but it doesn't move nearly as much air as I expected for a Scythe. Then again, the noise is pretty low.
All-in-all, I'd say mediocre. I expected more. But it works alright.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good air flow to noise ratio. Not flashy, a simple black fan that maintains it's db level.

Cons: Average life seems to be about two years of steady operation. I've purchased quite a few Scythe fans since 2008 and in general I haven't been disappointed. My computer does run non-stop however and their life expectancy seems to be about two years leaving the annual cost of the fan about $10/year.

5 out of 5 eggsNot as loud as people make it out to be

Pros: Its an effective fan. Includes converters so you can hook it directly to your power supply. Its quieter than my other large fans.

Cons: I wouldnt use it if you have a silent setup. It's not the stealthiest but definitely not the loudest ive heard.

Other Thoughts: I guess these other people are trying to make their rigs completely silent because I have no problems with the noise. People here say they break down within a year but I never expect cheap fans to last that long anyway, especially ones with this much force.
