1 out of 5 eggsWas good but..

Pros: Ran out of the box, looks nice, and doesn't produce too much heat.

Cons: Purchased these a while back and everything was good for about a month. I overclocked my 3770k to 4.5ghz and deemed it fully stable with 30hours prime 95, 2 hours IBT, and 4 hours OCCT. I always test ram with memtest86 when purchased to make sure it's fine. Randomly received a bsod the other day, and decided to run the tests again. This time, prime95 failed so I tried IBT, and it failed almost instantly. I decided to test each stick of ram at a time, and found one unstable. I booted into memtest86 and got an immediate error. I tested the ram with stock underclocked 1333mhz, and 1600mhz XMP settings. hopefully Corsair's RMA system isn't too bad.

Other Thoughts: They were great while they lasted, but one failed on me.

5 out of 5 eggsGamers Dream

Pros: -Very Fast!
-Extremely Affordable.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Although, no current PC Games require this amount of memory, it feels great knowing that I'm somewhat future proof in my most recent build.

5 out of 5 eggsNot Shabby!

Pros: So far so good, I'm on my 3rd week running it in a MSi Z77 board. Seems to be built well, the heat spreaders are pretty beefy as far as material they are made from.

Cons: Now that I have seen so far.

Other Thoughts: I was a die hard OCZ fan, but I went with Corsair this build and pleased that I did.

1 out of 5 eggsAttention of detail lacked

Pros: Works at advertised speeds. Detected properly.

Cons: The heatspreader fins make it hard to put pressure on the ends for installation. They feel a bit flimsy. Once installed it's not an issue.

Other Thoughts: When I received the memory I failed to notice that one of the heatspreaders was installed backwards on the module. This resulted in me installing the memory faulty resulting in damage to my ram socket (one of the pins in the socket somehow bent and broke). The socket is now rendered useless. All the previous Corsair memory modules I own have their spreaders installed facing the same way, to (I assume avoid this confusion).

Once installed the memory was detected fine and works as advertised. I will still award only one egg because of the one module's heatspreader being backwards.

3 out of 5 eggsNot stable at 1.5v

Pros: Can run at 1600

Cons: Not stable at 1.5v at 1333. Had to under clock since my mb does not allow voltage control.
