Built with the Marvell 88SS9187 controller combined with OCZ's optimized firmware architecture, Intrepid 3700 SSD delivers data at a high-level of performance, with consistent IO (Input/Output) latency response designed to dramatically improve efficiency and application performance.

High Performance

This 2.5" form factor SSD product has a Serial ATA-6Gbps interface, and it is designed using Toshiba A19nm eMLC NAND flash memory available in 240GB, 480GB, 960GB, 1920GB capacities. The Intrepid 3700 series delivers excellent performance for both large block sequential operations in a steady state condition, as well as during small block random operations. The model # IT3RSK41ET5G0-0960 offers 530/450 MBps of sequential read/write speed, and 82,000/12,000 random read/write IOPS.

AES 256-bit Encryption

The OCZ Intrepid 3700 SSDs feature AES-256-bit encryption with automatic hardware encryption to provide protection of all metadata and user's data at all times.

Power Loss Protection (PLP)

The Intrepid 3700 SSDs support testing of the power loss capacitor. The status of the power loss protection can be monitored via the SMART attributes. Additionally, Clout can be used to conduct a super capacitor test.

Block Level RAID Protection

The Intrepid 3700 series has an internal RAID that provides Block recovery mechanism in the event of catastrophic failures.

Temperature Monitor and Logging

The Intrepid 3700 SSDs has an internal temperature sensor for monitoring and logging of airflow temperature. The feature can be monitored using SMART attributes.

Device Activity Signal (DAS) Indication

The Intrepid 3700 SSD's DAS LED polarity is set automatically to the default state during manufacturing. The polarity can be inverted in the field using Clout.

Noiseless Operation

Intrepid 3700 series has no moving or noise-emitting parts. Therefore, it produces no audible sound in all modes of operation.
