5 out of 5 eggsMemory Chip Creep "FYI"

Pros: FYI more on Chip Creep.

Cons: You need to remember this possibility.

Other Thoughts: After using my new build for over a year, yesterday I turned it on & got a black screen & no further boot up.
I thought of the possibility's as to why. The first thing I do is remove & replace the Ram sticks & it works.
It seems that over time the constant boot up & shut down of every day use can cause 2 problems.
Oxidation forms on the Piano connections of the Ram sticks & it can't be seen. The heat up & cool down of daily use over time can cause the Ram slots to expand & contract, causing what is known as Chip Creep.
The Ram can actually become loose & move out of the slot just enough to get a bad connection.
Always remove & replace the Ram sticks first. If that don't work then continue trouble shooting other connections & PSU & Motherboard capacitors for any swelling.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Product! I would recommend this motherboard. (But...)

Pros: Looks good and sound really good. I really like how easy it was to set up and OC.

Cons: A week after i being using it i shut it down and unplug it for the night power it back up next morning and it won't boot up. I had to reset the cmos. Note. I am a new builder and thought it might have been my fault.
